3rd POV. Infinity Train.

As the loud horn from the train was heard, Sora, who used to work in maintaining the train, immediately knew that signals the trains departure.

Sora: The train is going to it's destination.

Sora: I wonder if Tanjiro and the others managed to board the train.

Sora: Wait, this is also the very first time that Tanjiro will board a train. Considering that the first time he ever set foot in an urban area......

Sora: It was when Tanjiro got sent in Asakusa, Tokyo.

Sora: The place where he met Muzan for the very first time. That is what Tanjiro told me.

Sora: Now having regained a part of my memory of encountering the Progenitor of Demons himself.

Sora: But it is only just a moment.

Sora: I never knew what happened but I think I fought him and I somehow survived.

Sora: Anyways.......

Sora finished eating the bento and is currently drinking the tea that he bought.

Sora: To think that they even warmed this up and then put it in a glass bottle.

Sora: I wonder that besides from trains, what other things have improved from the West?

Sora: I heard from the boss before that the West went through an era called the Industrial Revolution.

Sora: If I remember correctly......the chief, from the former company that I used to work for........

Sora: He told us that Japan underwent the Industrial Revolution around two years after the Sakoku Edict, it was the 2nd year of Meiji.

Sora: The government finally decided to catch up with the West. I mean, I guess that's a good thing.

Sora: Just imagine isolating the country from the rest of the world for like 200 years.......

Sora: Wouldn't that affect the economy? I mean, by isolating the country, although they kept Nagasaki as the port for trade......but that wouldn't be enough.

Sora: The chief told us that the world would be a better place if each country are open to establish a connection and share our culture, inventions, ideas.....

Sora: He thought that is how the West got to improve their way of life.

Sora: But we mustn't never forget that if there are benefits, there are also disadvantages to be found.

Sora: Maybe an example that I can relate is the incident that caused our company to shut down and dismiss all the workers.

Sora: An accident that we never even knew what caused of it.

Sora: As much as we wanted to investigate, the court didn't allow us.

Sora: The ones who blamed the company is a man who is somehow from a prestigious family.

Sora: I guess even today, those who are in power are still in control....and we.....

Sora: Who are living on the lowest part of society, will still remain unheard.

Sora: I always asked myself, did the person who accused our company even felt remorse to the employees who will lose their jobs?

Sora: Did they ever thought that what if those workers would have a hard time looking for another job? Those who barely make ends meet?

Sora: Did they even thought about those consequences?

Sora: I guess with all of their wealth, they never experienced to be poor.

Sora: They never grew up struggling to earn even a single sen......

Sora: Never grew hungry, poor.......

Sora: And the fact that there are even people who would kill just to survive.....

Sora: *sigh*

Sora: Such a cruel world we live in.

Sora: This balance of power, the gap between the rich and the poor......

Sora: But then......even with the problems of society......

Sora: If only humans can just be open in understanding one another.

Sora: But I guess someone's greed for power will always get in the way of that ideal.

Sora: Hmmm, now that I think about it.......

Sora: Tamayo-san once said that all demons were once human.

Sora: If that's the case then......

Sora: Why would they become something inhuman?

Sora: Why choose to become a demon?

Sora: I believe that in some cases......they choose to become demons out of despair.

Sora: Despair to save someone, frustration from being powerless......

Sora: There are some who are grieving......

Sora: Death of someone close to you that if you mix hatred, it will turn to a path for vengeance.

Sora: There are some who was somehow naive......

Sora: Like Tamayo-san's case......she only wanted to find a cure from her disease because of her desire to see her kids grow up.

Sora: But the fact that she was dying during that time.......Muzan somehow visited her and offered her a "cure" or unknowingly.......his blood.

Sora: Tamayo-san never knew that she'll become a demon, and that forced her to feast on human flesh, to the point that she devoured her husband and children.

Sora: Now that I think about it.......

Sora suddenly covered his mouth in a grim realization.

Sora: Back then, at Mt. Natagumo.......the female demon that I killed.......

Sora: Now that I think about it.......I saw her expression during that time and she was shedding tears.........

Sora: That was the very first time that I saw a demon shedding tears........

Sora: .........

Sora: Wait, was I using my Sharingan when I fought the demon.......? If so.....then......

Sora: I am so angry because of the horrors that I witnessed firsthand.

Sora: I was blinded by my hatred that I forgot about the fact that there are some demons who never desired to be one......

Sora: How did I overlooked that fact?

Kyojuro: Sora, are you alright?

Kyojuro's booming voice was somehow loud enough to cut the Uchiha's trance.

Sora: U-Uh....! Yes! Sorry, I was just thinking.......about something......

Kyojuro: You're covering your mouth, are you not feeling well?

Sora: I-I'm fine. Also, if you're going to ask if there was something wrong with the bento and the tea, there is nothing wrong at all.

Kyojuro: Perhaps, aren't you used in boarding a train?

Sora: Uh, that's not it. I used to work in a train station before, so boarding trains isn't new to me.

Kyojuro: I see. If you're not feeling well, then I suggest that you eat! Here, I still have some of the bentos here!

Kyojuro: They say that a meal tastes better if you have someone to accompany with it.

Sora: To that, I certainly agree.

Since: Right, since I haven't eaten really that much before arriving here. I only ate riceballs but well, travelling for almost half a day is exhausting.

Sora gladly accepted Kyojuro's offer as he took another bento and ate.

Kyojuro: Umai! Umai! Umai! Umai! Umai!

Sora: You sure love eating a delicious meal.

Kyojuro: Of course! Hahahaha!

Sora: Somehow, it's been a while since I cooked.

Kyojuro: Oh? Really?

Sora: Yeah. Although my mother is usually the one who cooks, whenever she is sick.....I'm the one who cooks for my siblings.

Kyojuro: How many are you?

Sora: Seven.

Sora: I'm the eldest of the seven.

Sora: Although I was adopted.

Kyojuro: Oh......

Kyojuro: Do you know anything about your true parents?

Sora: Sadly, no. But I somehow got to know my heritage.

Kyojuro: That's good to hear!

Sora: But, even though I don't have the memories of my true family, I'm still happy that somehow, I found a second family.

Kyojuro: Do you still hope to find your original family?

Sora: That is the reason why I'm travelling.

Sora: To find answers about myself, who really I am.

Kyojuro: I see. You're walking a long and arduous path! But I know I can see the burning resolve to see your journey through until the end!

Kyojuro: Not all people are that brave to face their past!

Sora: No, maybe I don't have any recollections of my past.......

Sora: Is probably because.......

Sora: I ran away from my past?

Sora: As I'm starting to think about those nightmares I'm having......

Sora: Maybe I was really cursed because I did something horrible in the past.

Sora: A sin that even my suffering wouldn't be enough to atone for it......

Kyojuro: Don't say it like that! Sure, we have our own regrets but.....

Kyojuro: From what I can see.....you are strong.

Kyojuro: The fact that you worked hard just to provide for your siblings.......

Kyojuro: While having the resolve in facing your dark past.....

Kyojuro: Don't ever say that you ran away all because you lost your recollections from your past.

Kyojuro: Maybe there is a reason why you are travelling......

Kyojuro: Maybe because......

Kyojuro: Your view of the world is still limited.

Sora: Really? Even with my eyes that can see what other people can't see?

Kyojuro: Your eyes?

Sora: I can see......things that somehow other people can't see.

Kyojuro: I see.

Sora: It's like just from a glance, I can tell that person's attitude......just from a single gesture.

Kyojuro: To think that he has such a sharp vision. If he is a Demon Slayer then he would've been a big help to us!

Sora: Maybe I was gifted with these eyes to see just that. Even though how much I can perceive even the smallest details.....

Sora: Sometimes, I may be naive and always tend not to look upon the bigger picture.

Sora slowly drinks his tea......

As for Kyojuro, he sensed that he somehow opened a topic that he mustn't pry on, especially to a complete stranger.

So he continued eating.

Kyojuro: Umai! Umai! Umai! Umai! Umai! Umai! Umai! Umai!

Sora closed his eyes as he finished the bottle of tea.

Sora: If only everyone can be energetic and positive like Kyojuro.

As Sora attempted meditate, despite the one sitting in front of his seat is being noisy.

Sora: Seems like this isn't the right place to meditate. With a booming voice in front of me, and the sound of the rails......

Sora: I can only meditate in the Ubuyashiki Estate.

As the young Uchiha is still trying to meditate, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke barely boarded the train.

They decided to meet up with Kyojuro, and they hope to meet that Sora is inside the train.

The trio went from car to car, until they heard the booming voice that was coming from none other than the Flame Hashira.

Once they reached the seat where he is in.....much to the shock of Tanjiro and Zenitsu, they also saw Sora sitting in front of Kyojuro, with eyes closed.

Tanjiro: Nii-san is already here not to mention......

Zenitsu: It seems like the moment you mentioned your brother.....but....

Zenitsu: The person sitting in front of your brother, is he the Flame Hashira?

Tanjiro: Yeah.

Zenitsu: Not just some random glutton?

Tanjiro: Right?

Zenitsu: Anyways, what is Sora-san even doing along with this guy?

Tanjiro: I don't know.

Tanjiro suddenly called the attention of the Uchiha.

Tanjiro: Nii-san.

Sora opens his eyes as he smiled.

Sora: Ah, took you long enough.

Tanjiro: Sorry. We barely got into train.

Sora: Apparently, I heard some rumors here that someone is making a ruckus before the train arrived.

Sora: So.....

Sora's eyes became deadpan as he stares at Inosuke who is maniacally laughing on how fast the train is.

Sora: I'm guess it's none other than Inosuke.

Tanjiro: Yeah.

Sora: *sigh*

Tanjiro: So, nii-san. What are you doing here with Rengoku-san?

Sora: Hm? You know Kyojuro?

Tanjiro whispered to his brother.

Tanjiro: Don't you remember what I mentioned in some of the letters that I wrote back to you while I was still recovering?

Tanjiro: The one sitting in front of you, is none other than the Flame Hashira, Rengoku Kyojuro.

Sora: And here I thought he's just another random demon slayer.

Tanjiro: I know what you feel, I never even knew what a Hashira is before.

Sora: Everyday, we learn new things, Tanjiro. Always remember that.

Tanjiro: Yeah.

Tanjiro then tried to talk to Kyojuro....

Tanjiro: Um......excuse me....

Kyojurou: Umai!

Tanjiro: R-Rengoku-san.....

Kyojuro: UMAI!

Tanjiro and Zenitsu flinched......

Sora: Must be hard to talk to Kyojurou's loud booming voice. Especially to people with sharp ears like Zenitsu.

Kyojuro finally saw the newcomers.

Tanjiro: We....already know that.....

Sora: Uh, Kyojuro.......I guess we should put the bento boxes aside for now.......

Sora decided to help the staff in collecting the bento boxes. While he is busy doing that......

Kyojuro talks to Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke.

Kyojuro: And you're the kid from that day at the Master's residence.

Tanjiro: Yes. I am Kamado Tanjiro.

He introduced his fellow demon slayers.

Tanjiro: These are my fellow demon slayers.

Tanjiro: Agatsuma Zenitsu and Hashibira Inosuke.

Zenitsu: Nice to meet you.

Inosuke: BOW BEFORE ME!

Tanjiro: Also, Rengoku-san, in case you don't know......

Tanjiro: I guess it wouldn't hurt to say about nii-san.......since they are kinda acquainted with each other now.

Tanjiro: The person sitting in front of you just now, the one with the blue eyes and black hair.....

Tanjiro: That's my elder brother, Kamado Sora.

Kyojuro gazes upon the direction where he is helping the staff to clean up the bento boxes.

Kyojuro: Oh, no wonder why he said that he was adopted.

Tanjiro: Yes. Nevertheless, we still treated him like our big brother.

Kyojuro: I see.

Kyojuro then noticed the box that Tanjiro is carrying.....

Kyojuro: And inside that box there.....

Tanjiro: It's my little sister, Nezuko.

Kyojuro: Right! The demon we saw that day, huh?

Sora finished helping the maids and he heard a part of what happened.

Sora: Say, Tanjiro......

Tanjiro: Mm?

Sora glared at Kyojuro with intense murderous intent.

Sora: Now that you mentioned that he is a Hashira......

Sora: Is he the guy who stabbed Nezuko three times?

Zenitsu began to hide behind Tanjiro's back, and Kyojuro was caught off guard by Sora's killing intent.

Tanjiro: N-No! He's not the one who stabbed Nezuko three times! It's a different person!

Tanjiro: The one who stabbed Nezuko is a guy with scars all over his body!

Sora: Ah, is that so. Sorry, because if I ever meet the Hashira or whoever.....

Sora: You know that hurting Nezuko is enough motivation for me to kill someone.

Tanjiro: N-Nii-san! Calm down!

Kyojuro: Hahahaha! To think that Sora is your elder brother. Also.....

Kyojuro: It seems like you know about us.

Sora calmed himself as he sat down.

Sora: Thanks for being reunited with Tanjiro and Nezuko after two years.

Sora: I went missing for two years, after all.

Sora: I'm sorry, if I really haven't introduced myself fully.

Sora: I am Kamado Sora, the adoptive elder brother of Tanjiro and Nezuko.

Kyojuro: Mm.
