3rd POV. Morning, Ubuyashiki Estate.

Since Kagaya permitted Sora to stay at the Ubuyashiki Estate, Sora was able to get proper rest and he was able to see around.

It felt familiar to him. In fact, Kagaya and Amane felt familiar to him. As if he'd known them for a very long time.

That is what he thought. So, the fact that he feels familiar with the estate.......

He decided that he could probably regain some of his memories.

But he can't.

As much as he tries to observe, nothing clicks.

Sora: *sigh*

The young Uchiha continues to wander around the estate, still wondering if there is something that clicks his memories......

In the first place, how did Sora able to regain his memories with the Kamado Family when he saw Tanjiro?

The answer is when Sora noticed the Hanafuda Earrings that were passed down on the Kamado Family. The earrings are significant to him, as it reminded him of Tanjuro, his adoptive father and the man who taught him many things in life.

Sora: Whenever your mind is clouded with doubt, it doesn't necessary to disperse them by force.

Sora: The answers to the question of why it rains, varies for each different reason.

Sora: Rain is needed by the farmers. Rain is needed when the heat is getting stronger. Rain also allows a person to find shelter on the rain.

Sora: Not to mention, whenever we humans stare at the rain, we always contemplate our lives......

Sora: Every drop of rain.....is equivalent to a single thought.

Sora: Huh......maybe that is the reason why my thoughts are being clouded and just pour out like rain.

Sora: I just can't force it myself to just stop it......

Sora: *sigh*

Sora: I'll think about that some other time. I have much more pressing matters.

Sora went inside of the mansion and he asked for a paper and ink.

Sora: "Tanjiro, I don't know where are you or what are you doing as of now. But I'm sure you and Nezuko are doing fine."

Sora: "I know you're worried about me but I'm okay. I'm actually staying at Oyakata-sama's place, he let me stay here for the night but then I heard from Amane-sama that they are willing to take me in."

Sora: "I know what you may be thinking. It's too much isn't it? To be honest, I would rather let you and Nezuko be here. But I know that we need to find a cure for Nezuko. That is one of the reasons why you became a demon slayers, right?"

Sora: "Don't worry about me, Tanjiro. We can just meet up when you take your missions. Oyakata-sama allowed me to do as such."

Sora: "After all, we're in this together. To find a cure for our precious little sister, right? Oh, speaking of Nezuko, tell her that I'm doing fine. We'll see each other again."

Sora: "For now, Tanjiro, focus on recovering your injuries. Do your best."

Sora: "Sincerly, Nii-san."

Sora finished writing the letter as he called on a crow. He folds the letter and secures it on one of its talons.

Sora: Please, deliver this letter safe and sound, to my little brother, Kamado Tanjiro.

The crow flies on a certain direction carrying the letter.

The crow arrived on its destination, the Butterfly Estate, the residence of the Kocho Sisters, and a place where demon slayers recover from their injuries after their missions.

Kasugai Crow: Letter! Letter! Letter! A letter for Kamado Tanjiro has arrived!

The crow perched itself on the open window of Tanjiro's room when Shinobu finished up checking on Tanjiro's situation.

Tanjiro: A letter? For me?

Kasugai Crow: Caw!

Tanjiro: ......!

He noticed the folded paper on the talon and he acquires the letter.

He unfolds the letter and when he read it......he was relieved.

Tanjiro: Nii-san......I'm glad that he's safe.

Shinobu: Huh? Nii-san? Who's that?

Tanjiro: !!!

Tanjiro: Shoot! I have to keep nii-san's existence as obscure as possible!

Tanjiro: Uh, actually, he is travelling with us for the past few weeks. We got reunited before I went to Mt. Natagumo.

Tanjiro: Wait........!

Tanjiro: AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!

Tanjiro: I COMPLETELY FORGOT!

Tanjiro: I was so occupied that I completely forgot!

Tanjiro: I was thinking why we used to write it like that. But I guess we used the character for "God" in spelling the kagura, in order to avoid confusion.

When Kanae heard the said style.....she remembered a certain memory.

A young boy who is dancing like a spirit.

Shinobu: Nee-san? Are you alright?

Kanae gently shook her head.

Kanae: I'm alright. I maybe just thinking too many things.

Kanae: But still, if your brother is the one who defeated Lower Five using this kagura......

Kanae: Then it is only right that we thank him.

Tanjiro: That won't be necessary!

Tanjiro: I'd better be careful not to gather too much attention towards nii-san!

Tanjiro: No, I mustn't pry on the personal life of others too much.

Tanjiro bowed to the Kocho Sisters before he left the room.

As he left, the Kocho Sisters remembered that nightmare.

Shinobu: Nee-san. Do you still believe that HE didn't want to kill our parents?

Kanae: I'm sure of it......

Shinobu: Nee-san, you saw it with your own two eyes! You and I saw him murder our parents in cold blood!

Kanae: But still......! Why!?

Kanae: Why would he......

Kanae breaks into tears......

Kanae: Even after all these years.......

Kanae: Why would he murder Mother and Father in front of our eyes?

Kanae: What is his motive for killing them?

Kanae: But I felt like something is wrong......

Shinobu: Nee-san are you still being delusional?

Kanae: You may call it as that but.....!

Kanae: Why would someone as kind as Sora.......

Shinobu: If he's dead, all the better.

Shinobu: What punishment is suitable for him rather than death?

Meanwhile, back at the Ubuyashiki Residence. After Sora sent the letter to Tanjiro. Amane told Sora that Kagaya wants to talk to him.

To which he went to his quarters.

Sora: You called for me, Oyakata-sama.

Kagaya: Yes.

Sora: For what reason?

Kagaya: Sora, I know this may sound outrageous to you.

Kagaya: Do you want to join the Demon Slayer Corps?

Sora: What? Wait, me? Join the Demon Slayer Corps?

Kagaya: Tanjiro must've told you about us. With your knowledge about the Twelve Kizuki from Tamayo-san, and with your knowledge about the Demon Slayer Corps from Tanjiro......

Kagaya: I want you to join the Corps.

Sora: But......

Sora: I would have to pass the Final Selection—

Kagaya: Your experience at Mt. Natagumo speaks for itself.

Kagaya: And the fact that it was you who defeated Lower Five, a member of the Twelve Kizuki.......

Kagaya: I may grant you the rank of a Hashira.

Sora: A Hashira?

Kagaya: It seems you don't know.

Kagaya: The Hashira are the most elite and powerful among the Demon Slayer Corps.

Kagaya: They gathered respect and are granted special treatments due to their contribution to the Corps.

Kagaya: In order to become a Hashira, a Demon Slayer must have eliminated a specific number of demons or to have eliminated a member of the Twelve Kizuki.

Kagaya: You met the criteria. With your Sharingan, I'm sure you—

Sora bowed his head, even touching the ground with it.

Sora: I'm sorry, Oyakata-sama. But I have to decline!

Sora: I am only travelling with Tanjiro in order to help him find a cure with Nezuko.

Kagaya: But you do want to protect them, right?

Sora: Of course.

Kagaya: All right.

Kagaya: I guess I'll just grant you a rank of Kinoe.

Sora: Kinoe.....?

Kagaya: The Highest Rank among the Corps.

Sora: ..........

Kagaya: Sora. If you want to protect Tanjiro and Nezuko.......

Kagaya: If you want to stay by their side.

Kagaya: This is the only way for you.....

Sora: If that is what you say, Oyakata-sama.

Sora: But I'll accept it under one condition.

Kagaya: Sure. What is it?

Sora: Please, keep my identity a secret. To the rest of the Demon Slayers, and to these so called "Hashira."

The Uchiha left Kagaya on his room, as the Master of the Demon Slayer Corps was once absorbed in his thoughts.

Kagaya: I do hope that your heart, mind, and soul finds peace.

Kagaya: I feel like Uchiha Madara is somehow involved about the nightmares that Sora was talking about last night.

Kagaya: Amane.

Amane opens the shogi door.

Amane: Yes?

Kagaya: Do you remember about Uchiha Madara?

Amane: Yes.

Kagaya: I would like to continue our investigation about him.

Amane: Are you sure?

Amane: I mean, that case was abandoned when Sora also vanished—

Amane: .........!

Amane: Kagaya, are you saying that........?

Kagaya: If Uchiha Madara still turns out to be alive, I have a feeling that we may also find answers about what happened to him after he discovered the massacre of the Kamado Family.

Kagaya: We may also find what happened to him before he began travelling with Tamayo-san.
