I feel Luciano's hand encircle around my waist making me look up at him to see him smiling down at me.

"Let's go." He whispered as I looked at Dante nodding.

"She is not going anywhere with you." I heard a soft yet cold familiar authoritative voice.

My lips instantly curved upwards in a smile as I turn and look at her with happiness as she came to stand in front of me.

I chuckled softly as she pushed Luciano away from me and gently embraced me in her arms protectively.

"I'm here now. Everything will be alright." She whispered patting my back softly and then broke the hug still holding my hands.

"How are you Serena? I missed you!" I exclaimed as she smiled at me.

"Well...let's just say I moved to New York to give you all a surprise but instead I got this pathetic surprise." She chuckled darkly at the end.

"Mom...how did you know..." Luciano started when he was cut off by Leo entering the room.

"Sorry...I tried but she didn't listen." Leo huffed playfully glaring at his wife while she chuckled.

"We went to the main house first and everyone of her friends were there. We got to know everything and then how do you expect me to just wait there!?" She exclaimed.

"How are you feeling?" Leo asked hugging me.

"Well...my eyebrows don't hurt." I replied making everyone laugh and by everyone I mean even Dante and that's when Serena and Leo noticed him.

"I'm going to kill you." Leo said darkly moving towards Dante.

"Dad no...wait." Luciano held Leo while Serena stood beside me staring blankly at Dante.

"He didn't kidnap me Leo. He saved me and has been since last three years." I said softly as Leos expression didn't falter. He still stood there with the same deadly expression.

"Okay. For a minute there I believe you but then where is my daughter?!" Leo gritted glaring at Dante.

"With the Russian Mafia of course." Serena scoffed humorlessly.

The fuck?

"This is not the time for your stupid anger towards our daughter Serena!" Leo snapped at her angrily making her roll her eyes at him.

Wow. That's probably the first time I've seen Leo mad and that too at Serena but I don't think she is much affected by the looks of it.

"Its not stupid! How many times do I need to tell you all that she ran away willingly! Huh? Its none of our fucking business to interfere in her life. If she wanted us in her life than she would have contacted us... You all are pathetic! I've been telling you since the time all of it happened but what did you all did instead ? Ignored me thinking that I'm under depression and kept looking for her. Do I need to remind you all who I am? You're just running after something which is not even worth it blinded by the love for your daughter and sister!" She spat with a cold look directed towards Luciano and Leo.

I do remember our conversation when we were in Hawaii. The day she got to know everything and was mad, she did tell me that everyone thought she was under depression because Mia left.

I can never forget her cold look.

"What if she is held against her will?" Leo questioned giving an equally cold look.

"You know what? I'm tired of this shit now. Let's finish this once and for all. We will know the truth one day." Serena's calculating gaze ended up from Leo to Dante.

"What do you mean?" Leo asked looking at Serena.

"Tell us everything. Why has my son not killed you yet knowing that his woman was with you injured?" Serena asked Dante without looking at Leo.

This is going to be a long day. What is it? Seven in the morning or something? There is little light coming from the window.

I go to Luciano side and hug him from sideways as Dante tells everything yet again and I'm too bored to listen to it. I just wanna go home and eat oreos and bubblegum icecream without thinking about this.

Luciano wraps his arm around my waist making me lean into him and places a kiss against my temple.

"What are you thinking about?" He whispered looking down at me.

"Oreos and ice cream." I whisper back making him grin at me.

"I thought you were thinking about me." He pouted, his voice low so we don't disturb Dante's speech.

Poor guy! He should just write it down and hand or over to everyone. This is the third time he is explaining this.

"I love Oreos more." I teased making him glare at me playfully.

Who doesn't though?

"Damn...I'm jealous of a cookie!?" He sighed dramatically making me grin back at him.

"Its okay. I was jealous of that fork when you were eating spaghetti that night when we went out." I told him making him smirk cockily.

"Seriously? You both are flirting right now?" We both turn at the voice of Serena to look at her, Leo and Dante staring at us amused.

"Sorry." I muttered embarrassed as Luciano looked at his mother sheepishly.

"There is nothing that can stop these two from flirting." Leo muttered making us chuckle.

"He is working for us then?" Serena smiled gesturing towards Dante.

"Yeah kind of." Luciano replied getting back to his serious self.

"So the Russian mafia tried to kidnap Valentina. You all know what that means right?" Leo asked looking at everyone with a different glint in his eyes.

What does it mean?

"War." Serena smiles darkly making a shiver run down my spine in fear obviously.

Fuck what?

War?

So damn cliche.

"Its not cliche. They declared war by trying to kidnap my queen. This is not just a fight with one person my love. Its the whole mafia. Anyone can die anytime." Luciano said coldly, his arm still wrapped around my waist.

Why did I say that out loud?

"Are you sure you want to do this Dante? I don't need to tell you what you what's going to happen. You know it well enough." Leo asked him.

What the fuck is he talking about?

"I know and I'm sure." Dante said softly.

"The girl downstairs. How is she related to you?" Serena asked Dante.

"She is my step sister. My mother married after she left." He answered.

"They'll have our protection. Don't worry about them." She smiled softly.

"Thank you." He whispered.

"And so it begins..." Serena whispered dangerously with the same dark look.

Am I even ready for this shit?
