Hey Alessio!! How are you?" I hugged him as he came to stand next to my car.

I'm at the racing track which is obviously illegal for my race tonight. My friends are here too except Cody because he has his date tonight.

Luciano and his gang are here as well and everyone is literally surrounding my car making it look as if I'm a specimen or my car is a specimen they are here to study.

"I'm going to kill you both!" Alessio exclaims grinning at me and Luciano while everyone stares at him confused.

"And why would you wanna do that?" I asked amused.

"You both HACKED my phone for flirting !" He said loudly making us all laugh.

Why can't Luca keep his mouth shut? There was no need to tell Alessio what we did!

"I needed information!" I stated trying to maintain a straight face.

"Wow. That's a valid excuse to intrude into my phone." He said sarcastically making Luciano roll his eyes at him.

"I didn't hack your phone." Luciano said making me glare at him.

"Liar." I muttered making him cock an eyebrow at me.

"My tracker did it. I didn't." He completed making me groan in annoyance while Alessio laughed.

"So why are you here?" Vanessa asked him as Alessio usually never come in races as he organizes fights.

"My brother just finished a race." He said making us nod in understanding.

"I'll see you later then and do not try that again!" He smiled and left.

"Are you ready Val?" Emma asked standing beside Luca who has an arm wrapped  around her shoulder protectively.

I still don't know what is going on between them.

As for Nia, she is making out with Lorenzo already so maybe there is some improvement there.

"Yeah. I don't feel like racing tonight though." I sighed leaning against Luciano's shoulder.

"Why?" Angelo asked from my other side eating a sandwich.

"I don't know...I just don't feel like doing it.." I shrugged.

"But you haven't raced in three months I guess.." Eric added.

"Yeah I know..that's why I'm doing it." I said.

I have to maintain my name in racing as well as fighting world or its of no use to me. I haven't used another name for racing, I use Nightmare here too as its convenient.

I look around to find so many people just like always. Racing is actually more dangerous than fighting according to me as the players can play dirty without getting caught.

"Luciano!" I hear a soft yet strong voice of a girl and I turn to look at her.

She is wearing a tight black leather skirt with a black crop top showing her absolutely perfect figure.

Damn! She is just so beautiful! I've never seen a person with aqua blue eyes before .

"Grace." Luciano nodded curtly.

Nice name.

"I missed you." She whispered coming closer and touching his arm.

Okay?

"Grace. Stop." Luciano stated removing her hands and moved closer towards me which didnt go unnoticed.

"Who's she? Your toy of the week Angelo?" She asked Angelo making Angelo glare at her.

Wow. She is blunt!

I'm not even standing that close to Angelo for her to think that I am with him instead of Luciano.

"You're talking about your Donna Grace. I would suggest you shut your mouth and do your job." Angelo snapped at her as Luciano glared at her and wrapped his arm around my waist.

"Donna!?" She gasped staring wide eyed at me and Luciano.

(Donna- Female equivalent of Don)

"Yes. She is my girlfriend and your Donna. Do not even try to disrespect her. You know the consequences." Luciano said coldly.

"But...she is not even in the mafia!" She said pointing at me.

"Are you questioning the Don's choice Ms. Giovanni?" Luca said coming to stand beside Angelo.

"I...no...but I thought you liked me Luciano!" She stuttered as  tears filled her eyes.

Shit.

"I don't mix work and personal life." Luciano answered.

"You slept with me!" She snapped angrily.

"That was obviously a mistake and it was seven months back! You knew it that I never had anything more than a one night stand and  We both were drunk out of our mind." Luciano fumed glaring at her as his arms tightened around me.

Damn! I feel Luciano. This happened with me so many times. They just don't understand that it was a one night stand.

"But she is not a one night stand! You called her your girlfriend! What changed, huh? I know everything about our Mafia, I go on missions and I am the best female mafia member just like Angelo! I was perfect for the position of Donna but you have ignored me ever since that night!" She ranted angrily as her hands tightened in a fist.

Damn!

I'm kind of speechless. She really wanted to be the Donna.

"You still wanna know why I didn't date before?" Luciano muttered close to my ear making me chuckle as Grace glared at me clenching and unclenching her fist.

Okay. Looks like I need to speak something because if Luciano spoke now, he is going to explode and I don't want him mad right now.

I stepped forward as Luciano stopped me holding my arm making me smile and remove his hand as he looked at me in question while Luca smirked at me.

"Hello Ms. Giovanni, I'm Valentina Martinez. Its good to know that you're one of the best members in the mafia and I hope you will react to this in a more mature way. We are together now and I know you wanted something more with him  but its best if we realise sooner that its not going to happen." I smiled at her as I stood in front of her.

"Why are you being nice to me? I just questioned your eligibility of the position and I've slept with him." She questioned looking confused.

"First of all, I've nothing against you. You questioning my eligibility doesn't bother me. A queen will always remain a queen, accepted or not. The matter of you sleeping with him was seven months ago and I have had my share of men too. That does not matter anymore. That was past and I don't live in past." I replied in a firm tone making her eyes widen a bit.

"That is why she is the perfect Donna for us Grace. Just being in the mafia and being a good memeber does not make you eligible. She knows what to speak and when to speak. She could have easily lost her shit like you did before but she didn't. She remained calm and that's what a true Donna is like." Angelo spoke making me gasp in surprise.

Who knew Angelo was capable of saying something serious like that!? Wow.

"Close your mouth. I'm getting wrong ideas." Luciano muttered smirking at me as I rolled my eyes at him.

"I..I need space. Excuse me." Grace quickly walked away making me genuinely feel bad for her.

She reminded me of Vanessa. She was always like this when she was heartbroken.

"You surprised me there Angelo." Emma smiled at him making us all nod in agreement.

"Yeah well...I can get serious when I want to." He replied sheepishly.

"He is only childish when he is with us. You should see him in the gang meetings, he is always cold and serious." Luciano said looking at him proudly.

"Well...I know my baby is the best! Aren't you sweetheart?" I said wrapping my arms around Angelo and pinching his cheeks making him widen his eyes in realisation.

"Your baby?" Luca laughed.

"Yeah. He called me his Mommy when we were at the beach." I smirked as Angelo paled but held on my waist as I was holding him.

"You promised you won't tell everyone!" He snapped glaring at me while everyone laughed.

"I'm even going to tell your kids!" I laughed hugging him tighter.

"Now I regret taking your side." He muttered hugging me back.

"Aww look at you both...so cute!" Nia came followed by Lorenzo and stood beside Luciano who looked at us with a smile on his face.

"Why are you smiling?" I asked him and he shrugged.

"Are you ready Valentina?" I heard Coles voice and stepped away from Angelo to look at him.

"Yep."

Cole is the one who is in charge of this races and all.

"Great! You are going in ten minutes so be prepared." He said and walked away.

"I need food." Angelo and Lorenzo said together and moved away followed by Nia while Luca and Emma stepped away from us leaving me with Luciano.

"Is there a tracker on your car?" Luciano asked as his arms slipped around my hips pulling me towards him.

"Yep." I said wrapping my hands around his neck.

"Be safe. Will you?" He said softly staring into my eyes.

"Of course I will." I whispered bending forward and putting my lips on his as my heart started beating faster than usual.

I'll be fine as long as I have you.

"I love you so much." He whispered kissing my forehead.

"I love you more."

I'll always love you.

"And...THREE...." The girl yelled as usual making us all zoom out of the area on the track.

There are total five cars in the race including mine and I'm quite positive I'll win this one too.

I push on the accelerator more when I see another car just behind me. I quickly turned the steering wheel right side turning just enough before driving  straight ahead leaving the car far behind.

The road is kind of deserted with only our cars light illuminating the track.

In half a mile, I leave a blue car behind and now I think I'm the first. We still have four miles to go and I see the usual deep left turn as I am used to it and prepare the car for the long turn.

I turn my steering wheel and take a turn when I felt another car hitting my car with great force making my car roll several times and the glasses broke as the safety bags inflated.

My body felt drained out of energy all of a sudden as I felt the glasses break into my skin and my body felt broken. My head banged hard against the roof due to the impact and I  couldn't feel anything around me as black dots started to appear in front of my vision while my coughing of blood made me so scared.

"uh..he..help...." I tried to shout but it came out as a whisper.

"Lu..."

I moaned in pain trying to move but I couldn't feel my legs  with the lightheadedness I felt as i felt tears slowly wetting my cheeks.

Don't lose your consciousness Val.

Stay awake.

I don't want to die. Not like this. I have so many plans for us.

I kept repeating that in my head feeling too much pain yet a type of numbness started spreading throughout my body when I hear sounds and opening of the door.

Please save me.

It didnt matter though because I was already losing my vision. My eyes felt so tired and I closed my eyes as each and every scene replayed in my mind.

I don't know what will happen anymore but I am happy that I got to be with all The amazing people in my life. Even though, I was with Luciano for a short period of time, he has become a big part of my life.

I don't wanna die.

It wasn't supposed to end like this.

I will always love you.

With that thought, I let the darkness consume me into a painless sleep hoping someone will save me.
