"The problem is that...She is Amanda. Amanda Davis." He muttered staring at me as my mouth opened in surprise.

"You don't mean The Amanda Davis... Right?" I asked with wide eyes.

"Yes her and I may have dumped her on our highschool graduation day...without giving her a reason." He mumbled looking down in guilty.

"But she is...dude you're so fucked." I said as a grin broke out on my face.

He groaned and then sighed looking dejected. This is so not how I know Ivan to be.

"So let me get this straight...You like the girl you dumped badly in highschool which means she must not like you at all and secondly she just went through a divorce because her husband cheated on her. "I stared at him.

"Yeah..." He muttered taking a sip of his drink.

"Look Ivan...She just went through a divorce and let's not forget that she was cheated on. She is already a famous businesswoman so She must be having media all around her and I don't think she would want anything more on her plate right now."  I explained with a soft look.

"I know...Its just that I have never stopped loving her. I didnt want to break up with her. I only did it because I thought she wouldn't be safe involved with a mafia considering her career choice as her Dad was already famous. I didn't want anything to happen to her." He said in a low tone.

"So what changed now?" I asked staring at him.

Amanda Davis is a billionaire who has her empire all over New York and some other place too. Her divorce with movie star Mark Stone is all over the media since last one month.

"Well...firstly because she divorced now and when I saw her the first time here in New York after our breakup, I wanted to go back to her and Secondly because when I saw you and Luciano I realised that...I can be with her and protect her." He whispered, closing his eyes.

"Amanda is a strong ass woman Ivan. She has handled her business without anyone's help when her father died and she was just twenty two at that time and she is already a billionaire at twenty five now. She does not need your protection or anything,  she needs your support and love. You broke her heart once and now you have a chance to mend it. "I said reaching out and taking his hand in mine.

"I know that but you just said she doesn't need more on her plate..."

"I know and I'm right but you can reach out to her as a friend. Not someone who wants to date her but support as a friend. I think she might appreciate that more." I smiled and he stared down on the table.

"I think you're right...I don't know how to reach her...I don't have any number..." I cut him off with a genuine laugh.

"You know...You and Luciano are pathetic in this mafia business! Your men can get you her number but Nia's father is a business partner of Amanda and Nia has met her so I think she might have her number. I'll ask her." I looked at him amused as his ears turned more pink.

"Well I'm not into the mafia business. You know that. Thanks Valentina." He smiled squeezing my hand.

"Just please don't be your grumpy self when you do talk to her!" I chuckled making him laugh with me.

"I'm not grumpy! You're just hyperactive." He snapped smirking.

"Who knew the almighty God of grumpiness is in love with someone." I looked at him teasingly making him glare playfully.

"I seriously want to know how Luciano tolerates you!" He rolled his eyes amused.

"Hey! He loves me for your information!" I pointed out making him laugh.

"I'm home!" I yelled as I entered into a quite place.

Are they still out? College?

I shrugged and walked up to my room and changed into comfortable clothes. Pulling my phone out of my bag, I laid down on my bed and went through my usual social media and messages.

That was one hour ago. I don't know what to even tell him. I can't lie to him obviously and I don't like to beat around the bush either.

It didnt go well and I just came back.

I replied and opened my attendance in all the lectures. It has been quite bad in the last two months. I don't usually bunk classes but it's happening now. I have to make up now.

This is so frustrating!

Its three thirty in the afternoon so they all will return soon enough and I would have to tell them everything.

I break out of my thoughts when my phone went off to see Luciano calling me making my heart beat faster instantly and my stomach did back flips in nervousness. I don't know why I'm even feeling this actually.

"What happened love?"

"Nothing happened. They were just not ready to accept us after what happened with Dante and um...they kinda of...don't trust... you." I whispered the last part closing my eyes shut.

"I understand and that's a valid reason. What do you suggest we do now?" He asked in a soft tone.

"Aren't you mad?" I asked kind of shocked.

"Why would I be mad? I'm a mafia Don. No parents would like that and its understandable. If I were at your parents place, even i would be upset." He answered.

"But...okay...so what now?"

"I'll do whatever you want sweetheart."

"Would you come and meet them?" I asked which was followed by a long pause from his side.

"Okay. When?" He said making me sigh in relief. I thought he wouldn't want to come as well just started dating.

"Tomorrow morning." I replied.

"Alright. I'll come and pick you up."

"That would be great." I smiled.

"How was your Lunch?" He asked.

"It was good to see Ivan and talk to him. He is so much like you!" I chuckled remembering the the talk.

"Yeah well that's right. We were inseparable when we were kids. What did he want from you though?"

"That's a secret Luciano!" I said in a teasing tone.

"Oh cmon he is my brother. Is something wrong with him?" He asked in a concerned voice.

"Nothing is wrong with him, I promise. Its not my place to tell you, I'm sure he will tell you..just sit and talk like brothers. Dont talk about work." I said remembering the time in Hawaii, all they talked about was work.

"Alright. I'll take your advise on that!" He chuckled as I heard everyone coming back.

"Yeah you do that and I'll talk to you later. Everyone's back!"

"Okay love."

"Bye. Ohh and if we don't talk tonight by chance then do not forget to bring whatever breakfast you make  for me tomorrow! " I said quickly making him chuckle.

"Of course sweetheart. Any other demands?" He asked in an amused tone.

"No that's it for now. Bye. I love you." I said with a smile.

"I love you more." He said and we hung up.

I'm sure I love him more.

I skipped downstairs in the sitting area finding everyone sprawled out on the couches making me laugh slightly.

"Don't you laugh bitch! You're lucky you didnt have to attend today!" Nia glared at me as I sat down besides Cody.

Vanessa and Emma were literally almost asleep while Eric was smiling sitting on the right side chair besides the couch.

"How's your day?" Cody asked making em turn toward him.

"It was Okay. Mom and Dad are literally disappointed with me and they don't approve me being with Luciano but we are meeting them tomorrow and I'm sure they will slowly accept him." I smiled slightly as everyone sat up giving full attention.

"They will love him." Cody said hugging me sideways.

"Yeah...just let your Mom see Luciano's body once!" Nia smirked making us all laugh.

"Ohh and as tomorrow is Saturday, I have my date with Scarlett. I won't be able to come to the race." Cody said making us nod.

"Who would have thought my brother would go on a real date?!" Nia sighed smirking.

"Well it's great Cody! I want all the details of your date!" Vanessa exclaimed excited as Emma nodded her head at Cody.

"Did you contact with the staff at the beach house?" I asked remembering that he was going to take her to my beach house.

"Yeah I did. Everything will be ready and if she likes it then we may stay the night and return on sunday." He replied making me nod smiling.

"I'm happy for you." I smiled making everyone groan.

"Let's get upstairs. Today is girls night!" Emma said making Eric and Cody glare at her.

"What do you mean girls night!? We should be a part of it too!" Eric said.

"No. You can come after you chop off your dicks!" Nia snapped smirking at Eric and Cody who glared at her in return.

"Why don't you both call Angelo and everyone. I'm sure they would love to have you guys there." Vanessa suggested softly making them agree quickly as everyone got up to change.

Cody and Eric left for Luciano's place after they called Angelo and I'm here in the kitchen getting some snacks for our night with Emma.

"Take the ice cream boxes too!" Emma said and I nodded taking them out of the freezer as well headed out of the kitchen and into the theater room.

"Finally!" Nia rolled her eyes taking the food like a starved pig.

"You just had dinner two hours ago." Emma pointed out with scrunched nose.

"Exactly! Two hours is a long time. The food must be out of my stomach already!" Nia exclaimed.

"Whatever so Val...what did you do last night?" Emma smirked raising her eyebrows as all three of them stared at me with excitement.

"Nothing much..."

"Bullshit! Just spit it out already!" Vanessa said annoyed.

"Fine. We did it. We had sex and it was amazingg! Happy? Just do not make me go into details because that's just gross." I chuckled looking at their surprised expression.

"Wow. Thats great! Finally!" Nia sighed grinning.

"What's up with you all?" I asked.

"Well...nothing is happening with me." Nia shrugged making Emma look at her pointedly.

"Ohh so all the flirting you do with Lorenzo means nothing?" Emma smirked in her direction making Vanessa shake her head amused.

What's wrong with Vanessa? Why is she so...quiet? That's so unlike her.

"Ohh yeah? And what about you and Luca!? I saw you texting him in class today!" Nia retorted making Emma turn pink instantly.

Well...that's not a surprise.

"So ?" I looked at them pointedly.

"Okay fine. I admit I like Lorenzo a little... He is just...different you know? He is not weirded out with me maybe because he is more weirder than me but you understand right?" Nia said in a low voice.

"Well I thought you claimed Luca the day you saw him.." Vanessa said with furrowed brows.

"Yeah I know but I feel more connected to Lorenzo. We talked a lot the night of the beach party. We literally laid down on the sand and talked for a long time and you and I both know that I don't talk like that with just anyone. "Nia smiled.

"So are you two dating?" Emma asked.

"Nope. We are just talking and getting to know each other. Neither he not I believe in the tags so we thought we will go with the flow." Nia said and then looked at Emma with a smirk.

"Geez...don't look at me like that. I don't even know what's happening between us." Emma said and took a spoonful of ice cream.

"What do you mean?" Vanessa asked.

"Well...you see at the party, he got mad at me for kissing a guy and then when we came back, he texted me a few times to know how I was doing. That's it." Emma shrugged looking equally confused as we were.

"That's it?" I asked.

"Yeah. He texts me everyday I admit but that's the extent of our text. Just basic random stuff and mostly him asking questions about me and I just answer." She replied making us nod.

"Well why don't you initiate the conversation?" Nia said.

"I don't want to. I don't know what to talk to him and I don't wanna make a fool of myself and honestly he was kinda scary when he was mad so..." She stopped making me laugh softly.

"Ems...Luca is as scary as a teddy bear. You don't have to be scared of him, he is an amazing guy and he knows how to treat every one. He won't hurt you, I promise. Just open up to him." I smiled squeezing her other hand which wasnt holding the icecream tub.

"I don't know...but I'll try.." She replied nodding at me.

"And what about you?" Nia smirked at Vanessa.

"I..." Vanessa stuttered looking down with a frown.

"What is it Vans?" Emma asked putting her hand on Vanessa's shoulder.

I seriously think something is wrong. This is not the Vanessa I know.

"I...I don't want to be with Eric!" Vanessa blurted out.
