"As much as I enjoy the show, I would like it if you two kids stop it and Valentina...How the fuck did you get this hot piece of ass!?"

I rolled my eyes before pulling away from Luciano and looked at the person who is grinning like a fool while staring at Luciano.

"Seriously Caroline?" I playfully glare at her while she comes and stands in front of us.

"Missed you so much Cookie!" She whispered hugging me.

"I missed you too Carol!" I said hugging her back.

"Why would anyone miss this handsome cousin?!" David muttered crossing his arms with narrowed eyes.

"Of course I missed you too Dave!" She put her arms around him like a protective mother.

Caroline is the only cousin sister we have. She is the daughter of my Aunt Rachel, dad's sister.

She is twenty eight and married to Nick who was her personal assistant at the time. There story is so damn good and romantic. She inherited her fathers business and now runs the entire business.

They have a sweet little munchkin of seven months named Olivia and she is the most adorable kid ever.

"Where is Nick and Olivia?" I asked her and she pointed towards the door.

"He is having a little alone time with her. He can't leave her for a minute I tell you." She rolled her eyes making me shake my head.

"And that's a good thing I believe?" David said.

"Yeah I know that but he needs to let her be. She needs her space too." She muttered looking at Luciano questioningly who is sitting calmly observing everyone.

"He is Luciano and she is my cousin Caroline." I introduced them and he stood up holding his hand out for her.

"Nice to meet you." Carol smiled.

"Likewise." He nodded.

"So are you two dating?" She waggled her brows at both of us making me roll my eyes.

"Why are you here Carol?" I chuckled.

"Oh yeah! So I need your help. Please don't say no. Please." She looks at me and David pouting.

"What is it?" David asked.

"I'm going out of town with Nick for two days as we haven't been alone for a long time and now Olivia eats real human food and we thought we might go and have some alone time so I thought maybe you would take care of Olivia till then but now speaking this whole plan out loud sounds stupid. Fuck I can't leave my daughter alone. No..." She started rambling making me remember Serena.

She used to do the same. I miss her.

"Calm down Carol. I think you both do need a break so don't worry. We will take care of Olivia." I smile rubbing her arms to calm her.

"Are you sure?" She asked apologetically.

"Hundred percent." I said squeezing her hands.

"I don't think this is a good idea." Nick spoke coming inside with a sleeping Olivia in his arms.

"Don't worry Nick. We will take good care of her and god only knows how much you both need a break. " David said patting Nick on the back.

"If only Mom and Dad were here then you wouldn't have to do this." Carol said signing sadly.

Uncle and Aunt don't live here. They moved to Italy, his childhood home and Nicks parents are divorced and let's just say not capable of taking care of a baby. They never were good parents to Nick. He didn't have a good childhood making him more protective and loving towards Olivia.

"Don't worry both of you. Just go and have fun. When are you leaving?" I asked.

"In an hour." Nick muttered.

"Alright. Tell me everything important I need to know and get out so I can be alone with my niece!" I said excited.

Carol and Nick left a few minutes ago so now its just me, Dave and Luciano. Both of them are sitting on the couch while I'm standing by Olivia who is sleeping still in the baby cot thingy or whatever it I called.

"Why are you staring at her as if you're looking at an alien?" David asked staring at me.

"Im not looking at her like that and besides you're way better with kids than I am so...David...have fun with Olivia!" I said quickly moving away from the baby.

Playing with the child is one thing and taking care of a baby while you're a baby yourself is another thing.

"Hey! That's cheating.. You said that you will take care of her so you can't back away now." David said in his full on defensive mode.

"I get it and I'll take care of her during the day after you feed her and change her diapers." I smiled sweetly causing him to glare at me and Luciano chuckled amused.

"That's not happening!" He glared standing up.

"Fine! Be like a little bitch! I'll take her with me and my friends and I will take care of her." I hissed punching his shoulder.

"You don't even know what a baby is!" He mocked smirking.

"You..." I started moving towards him so that I can beat his childish ass but Luciano interrupted.

"Alright stop fighting you two. David, you need to be there by the day as Valentina has college and she has missed too much already. She will take care of her at night. Understood?" We both nodded and I took my phone.

"I'm going home. He will drop me." I said looking at David.

"Why? Its ten already!" He whined.

"I need to have everything ready for her and she will be more okay as Sandra will be there. She is an adult and knows more." I explained and he nodded understanding.

"Alright. I'll have her stuff placed inside the car in a minute." David said and walked out probably for Carter, our housekeeper.

"So you will take care of a baby?" Luciano smirked pulling me towards him by the waist.

"Don't smirk too much. She is my niece." I snapped putting my hands around his neck.

"So what...you detested the very idea of being near a baby and now you are going to be with one for two days." He smirked making me roll my eyes.

I know that. I am not really a fan of little humans but that is just because I don't know what to do with them but Olivia is different. I have held her many times and she is a good baby and does not fuss all the time.

"You're too cocky. You know that?" I said annoyed.

Before he could answer my phone rang and I quickly answered it not wanting to wake Olivia.

"Hello?"

"Knock Knock." I hear Angelos annoying voice making me smile still.

"Who there?"

"Your coolest brother in law!" He exclaimed loudly as I chuckle at his pathetic joke.

"Really Angelo?! What do you want?" I asked amused while Luciano rolled his eyes at us and walked out probably knowing his brother.

"Nothing. I was just bored so I thought why not call and annoy you instead." He answered.

"Well too bad I'm not free to be annoyed by you Right now. Bye!" I said and hung up after laughing at his attempts to stop me from hanging up.

I shake my head at his childish attitude when my eyes caught sight of an unread text message. I open and gasp as soon as I read it. My body freezes as I stare wide eyed at the text.

PS. Did you really think I wouldn't know your liking towards him?

No.

This is not happening. I'm very much capable of protecting myself. He won't touch me. Where the fuck is he getting this much courage to do this shit!?

I don't want to go through that fucking pathetic period of my life again. I just want to be happy without these types of issues around me. I just need a stable and safe home. Not this where I get threatening messages every now and then.

And now this fucking asshole knows that Luciano is with me. How is he able to know all this personal stuff of mine? This is just creepy.

"What happened?" I break out of my thoughts hearing Luciano's voice and look at him.

I quickly move towards him and hug him tightly as a lone tear manages to escape my eye which I quickly wipe off.

"Nothing. I just miss my parents." I whispered as he rubbed my back soothingly.

"What did I tell you about not being that stupid female who hides everything just to get kidnapped or killed?" He whispered back making me sigh tiredly.

I open the text and show it to him. His jaw clenches while he glared at the text.

"Do not fucking hide things like this next time or you will be forced to see a part of me you wouldn't want to see." He hissed tightening his hold on my hips.

"But..." I started when he cuts me off.

"Sit in the car. Take her with you. I'll be there in a minute." He commanded emotionless.

Great. Now he is mad at me.

I pick Olivia and walk out slowly scared of what is happening. What if he actually is able to catch me? What if he kidnapped me and made me do things for him?

I buckle Olivia in her car seat and sit beside her staring at her peaceful face. How I wish I could be like her.

We want mental peace and happiness after all. I could do anything to achieve that.

Luciano came and settled in the driver's seat and looked at me from the review mirror.

"The fight has officially started. Anything can happen at any moment now. I hope you're ready." He said staring directly into my eyes searching for something.

"Do I have another option!? Yes I am ready!" I answered staring right back at him.
