Once Namjoon finished his beautiful serenading to me, we walked back to Kate's house. I had actually forgotten to grab my giant stuffed dog so we had to turn around after a little while and go back to grab it. We were welcomed by Kate sitting impatiently on her porch swing. She seemed to have been waiting on us and I guess she felt she had been waiting too long. Before she could ask what took so long I threw the giant stuffy at her as I knew she loved them. When we were younger, she would come over to my house and jump in my chest of stuffies I had. We would cover each other up to were wed no longer be visible to the unsuspecting eye. She nearly disappeared from the sheer size of the stuffy I just threw at her which was what cause me to think about our childhood. She didn't say anything as she was too busy showing her affection to her new stuffed friend. Me and Namjoon walked inside and plopped ourselves down on the couch because of our exhaustion. "So..." he said. "So..." I said in response. "I wanted to tell you Tori, thank you for being so open with me earlier about your childhood. I must admit I was a bit worried when you started crying as I didn't know what was causing it, but now I understand. I'm sorry you have had to go through the things you have. I get it. Life is just tough and not everyone can see the same things that everyone else does in other people. I swear to you on my life that I will never do any such thing to you. I never want to cause you more pain then you've already endured." He grabbed my hands and looked me in the eyes. "I promise you Tori." Instead of responding, I leaned in and kissed him. He understood that I what I was saying with the kiss so when I pulled back he continued to speak. "I also wanted to say, pack your things because you're moving back in with us. Well that is if you want to. That came out a bit harsh at first, sorry." "It's ok. I knew what you were trying to say. I'm more than happy to move back in with you. Kate is going to be gone for a little while anyway as her family is going on a trip. I wouldn't want to be sitting alone at home. Tonight though, I'm gonna stay here because it's late and because I need to talk with her about some things." "That's perfectly fine. I understand. Speaking of it getting late, I probably need to head back to the house. The guys might be wondering where I've gone to. Wouldn't want them to send out a search team for me." We both laughed a bit. Then I thought maybe Kate would let him stay over for tonight. "Don't leave just yet. Let me ask Kate something." I got up and went back outside to find Kate still on the porch swing with the stuffy. "Hey Kate. I was wondering...since it's ya know late and all. Could...could Namjoon maybe stay over here tonight? It's not a good idea to be out this late for anyone." "Absolutely!" I nearly screamed with excitement. "But..." she started. "There's always gotta be a bit doesn't there Kate?" "You know it girl. Anyway, he can stay if he makes breakfast tomorrow and he sleeps on the couch. I don't want anyone doing the nasty inside my house." I punched her in the arm. "Hey get your head out of the gutter." "You know you love me. Besides, both of our heads are stuck in the gutter together." "Well you're not wrong there." We laughed and then walked back inside. "Hey Namjoon, I have a surprise for you!" "Oh really?" "Yep. Wanna know what it is?" "Well obviously." "Drum roll please..." Kate started hitting the kitchen counter like a drum. "You can stay here tonight! Kate said it's ok if you can as long as you make breakfast and sleep on the couch. I've got a couple of your hoodies and shorts here where I might have taken them with me. Sorry." "I was wondering where my clothes were disappearing to," he said laughing. "I guess it isn't that smart to be out right now so I guess I will stay. I don't care at all to do either of the things she's asked I just want to be sure she's 100% ok with it." "Oh it's cool. I really don't care at all. All I can say is you better make a mean breakfast though." "I'll do my best Kate. Thank you. Is it ok if I go take a quick shower. I can't sleep without showering first." "Up the stairs. First door on your left," me and Kate said in unison. I knew her house just as well as she knew it. Same went for my house. "Alright, I'll be out shortly. Thank you." "Mhm, don't mention it. How can I say no to Tori's boyfriend." Oh that reminded me I need to tell her what all happened tonight. Namjoon just smiled at me and then turned to go upstairs to the shower. "Hey Kate. We need to talk." "Oh yay tea! I love hearing the tea of the day." I told her everything that had happened today. She sat there listening intently and surprisingly, she didn't speak. She just would silently nod her head. I just realized I spoke to soon as she soon let out a squeal and tackled me. "Tori has her first boyfriend! My little child is growing up too fast," she said dramatics as she pretended to wipe tears from her eyes. "Might I just say though Tori, tonight sounded like an absolute picture perfect night. Other than the nasty worker part. Carnies are just weird." "Huh, don't I know it. Especially now." "I actually have to tell you something that happened today too." "Oh girl do tell." "So me and someone kinda met up today." "Who night this someone be?" "This someone is gonna remain anonymous until further notice." "Ugh no fun Kate. Actually wait! Does this person happen to be called a certain letter?" "No definitely not," she said and she started getting red. I knew she was lying. "You went on a date with V! I'm so happy for you Kate! Now spill all the details."
