Kate's POV

I was sound asleep then next thing I know I felt a huge foot kick my body. It launched me into the floor. I turn to see Tori's lag outstretched where she just kicked me. I swear that girl is gonna get it. I'm gonna get her back for this at some point and it's gonna be absolutely hilarious. Every time we have a sleepover she always does something. Last time she screamed at me in her sleep.

Flashback To a Few Weeks Ago

"Give me the covers! Give me the covers! Give me the covers!" I was awoken by Tori screaming this at me. "What do you want?" I asked utterly confused. It was the middle of the night. Why was she demanding I give her the covers right now? "Give me the covers!" She pulled them away and my once warm cave of heat under the covers was infiltrated by the cold air in the room. Goosebumps covered my skin as soon as it was revealed to the cold air. "Tori give me some too. You have to share!" I tried to pull them away but she had a death grip on them. I decided to just get up and grab a blanket. I laid back down again and fell asleep. I would have said something to her but before I did she started snoring so I figured I would wait until morning. When I confronted her about it, she said she had no recollection of that ever happening. She didn't even remover dreaming about anything like that so I was now even more confused. She said she never yelled at me but I fought back and said she did. I literally saw and heard the whole thing. I was there so I know. We finally just dropped it after arguing a bit and she apologized. I later figured out she had been asleep the whole time so it would make sense as to why she had no memory of it.

Present Time

I have honestly just learned to deal with what happens because I know she is not doing it on purpose. She explained to me she doesn't do anything of these things to her knowledge. We think her body is just absolutely insane when she sleeps. It's something different every time though. However, it is a first for me to be kicked into the floor. I'm pretty sure I am  gonna have a bruise on my hips because I hit the floor pretty hard and it is still throbbing. I got up and went to the bathroom to check it out. Sure enough there is already a dark purple patch forming on my skin. I put some ointment on it and walked back into the living room. It was day time so I decided I'd might as well wake up Tori. I also needed to show her what damage she'd caused me this time. I shook her arm gently and said, "Tori. Oh Tori wake up." That didn't do anything to disturb her so I instantly went to plan C. Who needs plan B anyway? I grabbed the nearest pillow and swung it straight into her face. She actually stirred a bit but still refused to get up. "Tori get up. I'm gonna throw you off the couch next if you don't." "Mhh mmhmm hmm mmm hmm" She was just mumbling nonsense. I got fed up so I drew my arm back again and swung into her face again. She instantly got up and sprinted to the bathroom. I didn't understand why she did that until she walked out of the bathroom with a roll of toilet paper shoved up her nose and blood on her face. It kinda slipped my mind she gets nosebleeds really easily. The other day she called me and said as soon as she had stood up it just started pouring. I instantly felt guilty but this guilt was soon replaced by a sense of sureness in myself for getting payback for my new bruise. I saw it as fair. "An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth," they say. "What the heck Kate. Did you completely forget my jacked up nose or something? As well as the fact it doesn't take much for it to start doing its thing." "I must admit that I'd do forget yes. But, look here at what you caused." I pulled up my shorts to show the purple mass on my leg. "You kicked me out off the couch you idiot. I didn't mean to do that to your nose but now I'd say we are even wouldn't you?" "Yeah yeah I guess so. Sorry bout kicking you out but geez this was one cold revenge." "Well revenge is a dish best served cold ya know." "Ok can stop with the quotes dude." "What? Have I made your mind too flabbergasted with my quotes?" It's so fun to mess with her like this. I can't pass up this chance to bother her. "You know how much of a smart ass that makes you sound like when you use that word right?" "Yee yee I do indeed." I gave her a cheesy grin and stuck both thumbs up in the air. "Whatever," Tori said finally giving in a dropping her serious act as she chuckled. "You are such an idiot ya know that Kate?" "Correction, we are such idiots." "Ok ok you got me." She stuck her hands up in surrender. We both made slight eye contact and just started dying laughing. We seriously can't even look at each other without laughing but I love it. I don't know what I' would do without my bestie although she is  dumb sometimes. Despite that we are both better being dumb together, and I love her to death.
