I was honestly not so happy with dad bringing the twins home. I mean, this is no place for little kids. Plus weren't they living a picture perfect life with mom and the Costa's? Yeah, granted the stepfather died and mom went missing, but couldn't they just stay away?

I couldn't help but still long for my little siblings deep inside.

They already took our mother. I know they were young but the child in me can't help but blame them for taking our mother away.

I barged into their room after I heard them laughing about our baffled faces. In my anger, I said some petty, hurtful things that I honestly did not mean. I knew it was uncalled for.

After I mentioned our mother, their faces visibly darkened. Angelina was damn near holding Ace back and she had a dark look in her eyes. It was as if she almost didn't want to hold him back.

What harm could he do anyways, he was a  good head shorter than me. He was what, 5'7? 5'8? And My little sister? She didn't even reach my shoulders.

I opened my mouth to say something but she cut me off. "I wouldn't do that if I were you lover boy. You already crossed a line as it is. I dare you to spout more nonsense from that mouth of yours brother." She glowered at me and for a tiny 13 year old, she looked quite intimidating.

"And this will be the first and the last time you talk to my sister like that. She might not care, but I will screw you up. I can guarantee what you said was complete bull. If they didn't want us and pitied us, they wouldn't have created such hassle for our custody." Ace glared at me. That only angered me more.

"Oh and lover boy, here's a piece of advice. Never assume if you don't know the situation well. It doesn't end well and you might just regret it. Jealousy doesn't suit you either. Be grateful you still had a family. Now can you kindly get out please? We're a bit busy you see." She sweetly said, batting her eyelashes.

I did the only thing I could. I angrily stormed out and slammed the door.

I saw our father in the hallway and I just knew he had heard the whole conversation. He looked pissed to say the least.

"My office. Now." He gritted out and stormed off. I just grunted and followed him.

Once we were both seated in his office, he pinned me with a cold stare.

"Tell me Romeo, what is your problem with your siblings?"

"Dad this is no place for little kids. Don't you see they're already such brats!"

"I don't see any harm in what they said Romeo. What you said was uncalled for. Who gave you the right to talk for us? When did we ever say we didn't want them?" I just looked down.

"I didn't really mean it dad..." he sighed.

"Look Romeo. I am sure you will never admit this out loud but I know you love them and missed them just as much as we did. I also know that they haven't forgotten us. But we have to see where they come from too. They were left with a psycho mother at a mere age of 4 when they should've been with us." Wait a minute. What does he mean by psycho mother?

"Why do you mean by psycho mother, dad?" I asked, clearly confused as he just sighed.

"Your mother wasn't mentally stable. She had been off her meds ever since Aaron was born and we didn't notice it. The psychiatrist contacted us a year after she took the twins with her. That was when we started fearing for the twins' lives. That was why we wanted to bring them back home regardless of the threats being thrown around." He took in a deep breath and continued.

"I thought if they went with their mother, they would be more safer so I didn't fight much when the judge decided to hand the kids over to her. I didn't know she was unstable or I would have never given them up." I just sat there with a stunned expression on my face.

Still, they seemed shady to me and I wasn't going to let them hurt my family. Even if I love them. I just nodded and left his office, mulling over his words.

I bumped into Roman on the way to my room. "Oh hey! Why were you in dad's office? What did you do this time?" Jeez why do they always think I've done something?! Can't I just go see my father once in a while.

Hey he wasn't wrong though.

"I might have talked shit to the twins and dad may have heard it." I muttered sheepishly.

"Really Romeo? Fucking really?" He did not seem happy with me.

"They just got here Romeo." He sighed in frustration.

"Yeah well they lied about not remembering us!" I snapped. He just laughed dryly.

"We know that dumbass. You're the only one who didn't realise it. It was as if they wanted us to know they were going to act like they don't remember you idiot." He rolled his eyes but I just stood there in disbelief.

Then I just huffed and locked myself in my room like the kid I am.

A few days later. (Spongebob voice bitches!)

a n g e l i n a

It's been a few days since we've arrived here. We talk to Vince and Max all the time. We haven't talked to our family much since we obviously don't like them. A part of me wants to hear them out though.

I can see us not talking to them but always goofing around with each other is bothering them. Romeo hasn't stopped making snarky remarks and my patience is wearing incredibly thin.

There were many times Ace was very close to going all grizzly on him but I was able to hold him off. I honestly want to break his face so bad, myself but well... someone has to be mature here, right?

We've also made our hate and dislike towards them...very clear. Not towards Damien and Marco... though.

Marco started crying and sobbing once so we refrained from telling him anything. And Damien...well...Damien is a whole another story.

Anyways

Ace and I were busy painting our room with the paints Roman had just dropped off. I was doing the walls while Ace did the ceiling. Yeah we wanted some cool art on our ceiling too.

Luckily, Ace was good at art. I was too, but not as great as him. While he painted, I would sketch my heart out. So I made outlines while he painted. We did a black, blue ,white and red themed room. It looked so cool. Ace even painted a nice piano and bench with a girl and a boy sitting on it, playing the piano together.

It was beautiful. BoOTiFuL okay I'll stop.

When we were done, we took turns in the shower and quickly got dressed. I was wearing one of Ace's hoodies which I was practically drowning in, with a pair of leggings.

We were play fighting and laughing at each other when someone barged into our room.

Ace looked up from tickling me. I was laying on the bed with my head off the edge, so I just raised my head up which caused me to see Marco upside down.

"Awe you look so cute!" He squealed. Yes. He fudging squealed and snapped a photo on his phone. Ace just rolled his eyes and helped me get up.

"What do you want Marco?" He not so politely asked making me nudge him with my elbow.

"I'm sorry about him Marco, what did you need?" I politely asked. Yeah I might not like him much but he's been nothing but nice to us so I don't see a reason to be exceptionally rude to him.

Marco completely ignored his tone and just waved me off.

Um, Rude.

"Oh right! Dinners ready my babies!" He chirped dragging us all the way from our bedroom to the dining room, babbling about how he missed us the whole time.

We just followed him like lost puppies. Ace had a horrified expression on his face while I was highly amused. What the hell is he on? Unicorn piss? How the fudge is he so happy all the time! Can't say I wasn't like him though. People think I'm on crack sometimes. That's how bubbly and energetic I am.

We entered the dining room to see everyone already there and glaring at Romeo who was just scowling at his plate.

It was comical, really. He looked like a kicked puppy.

Cute.

As soon as they spotted us, their eyes softened and I felt a bit warm inside.

No! You can't Angie. They left you and your twin with that psycho, remember?

I sat down on the chair beside Damien who gave me a soft smile. I just gave him a small smile as everyone looked shocked including Damien himself. Ace, who was sitting between me and Marco, snickered. Our father sat at the head of the table, then Mason,Noah, Romeo and Roman on one side. Then Marco, Ace, me, Damien and Aaron on the other side.

Now, we've known Damien for a long time. He didn't recognise us as we used to cover our faces when we went to fights. We were best friends actually. He calls me brat. In a friendly and brotherly way.

Romeo was sitting opposite to me, shooting death stares at me and my twin which were returned by Ace while I just kept looked at him, amused. Internally though, I was assessing him. I saw hatred in his eyes.

Not towards anyone but himself. A feeling Ace and I knew very well. I looked towards Ace and we shared a look. He softened a bit when he saw the self hatred in our older brother's eyes.

I wouldn't be very surprised if he was into self harm. Let's just hope he isn't.

I used to do that a few years ago until we met Steve. Safe to say Ace and I's childhood was restored yet again. We were happy. But of course the man upstairs can't bear us being happy so he took away the most precious person that cared for us like a real father would.

He took my papa away from me. He took Ace's pops away from him. He took Vince and Max's Dad away. He was dead. All because of that wretched woman.

I was so occupied in my thoughts that I didn't notice the food was served. Ace refused with a loud 'no' when the maid tried putting boiled broccoli in his plate. There was cheesy pasta with broccoli in it for dinner

I huffed. This kid. "Miss, if this little brat refuses to eat broccoli, you have my permission to put more in his plate. Nah wait, just give him the whole bowl" I said, giving Ace a look that said 'you better eat the damn broccoli , or it won't be pretty, boy.' I was basically daring him to try and defy me.

I might seem like a quiet person, but I'm loud bubbly and sarcastic. I can be calm and collected when I want to be though.

He gulped and shoved a piece of broccoli in his mouth trying not to puke. I sighed and told the maid to get me some melted cheese. When she did, I grabbed Ace's plate. I put the broccoli in the melted cheese and put some pepper in it. I then mixed it up.

I handed him the bowl and he just grinned at me, eating all his broccoli. It was such a task to make him eat his veggies.

When I looked up, there were 7 pairs of eyes looking at us with shock and adoration. I just raised an eyebrow and they quickly looked away.

Weird people.

Did you all like the chapter?

Okay the broccoli thing is real. Out of us twins, Angel likes eating her veggies while I despise them.

THEY'RE EVIL

But she threatens me if I don't eat it.

I still think she's an alien.

And I blame our brother for being such a health freak and teaching her how to love her veggies.

HOW CAN YOU LIKE VEGETABLES. IT IS A CRIME.

Anyway, my dear twin forgot about the authors note at the end and is sleeping peacefully right now (more like a loud and obnoxious old lady but okay.)so I thought I would write it up and publish it :p

So, Enjoy!
