He saw it all.

He saw through her eyes as she was carried on the back of another regular.

He saw through her eyes as the winged creature struck its cord through one of the regular men.

He saw through her eyes as more like him began to scurry onto the roof.

He saw through her eyes as her neck was pierced from both sides.

He jolted out of the vision, shocked from the pain that ruptured through the regular girl's neck.

The little vampire held on tightly to his neck as he sped through the long blocks of shattered, cemented sidewalks and defied all laws of gravity as he bounced over the pile of cars on the streets. In each landing, the dominance of his robust force furthered his bare feet into the tarmac of the ground and led an explosive trail of dirt pits. The dust followed after like a rainbow-like array as he landed and pounced in the heavy rain.

Her scent was strengthening as he got closer.

The scents of other regulars were overflowing his senses.

He wasn't the only one to sense it.

The child vampire was tremoring almost too fast and vigorous that it became uninterrupted vibrations. The excitement took over his small body and his growls were unmatched against the clashing of millions of water drops.

As her scent became almost too overbearing, he and the child vampire found themselves in the middle of a dashing herd. Others, a lot others like him were on the run; scattering over roof tops, crawling on the sides of buildings or interrupted the route in front of him as he dodged through the crowd.

They paused at the final terminus.

He was met by a ruined structure.

He could hear the echoes of the regulars' screams from within and then above.

Dead corpses piled up at the entrances and windows, turning into walls of twitching limbs and trampled heads of white eyes that bled thick blackness. The stiff pile of his common people overflowed the entrances and made it appear that the regulars had advantage. Not a single sign of scarlet hue intermixed as far as his blue eyes could wonder.

Though, his nose detected a different truth.

The vampires looked to bombard the blocked entries with the unmistakable strength to break through. Yet, as soon as their claws sunk through the bodies, they paused and their attentions shifted upwards as they climbed the mountain of the dead to the roof. One after another. More and more went.

Suddenly, a regular sped out of the corner and recklessly used its weapon to shoot the scuttling vampires behind him.

The child vampire crawled down his body. It, then, ran in full speed towards the regular.

After, he heard a scream. His head twitched to the side as he tried to decipher the sound. It wasn't from a regular, or most importantly the regular girl he was looking for. The last he heard the threatening screech was at The Hive.

His lips curled at the sudden reveal that came to him.

His nose flared and mouth parted to release a chilling growl that pierced the air and echoed out in a lingering, haunting melody. It belted the surrounding vampires still and they backed away slowly in harmonized whimpers.

He swiftly sped through the path; the others made when they sniveled and moved away. He pushed off the ground as soon as he was near the mountain of soon to be decay. One of his feet coldly stepped onto one of their heads, provoking an eruption of blood and flesh. Then, he landed effortlessly on the border, exploding the concrete into tiny dusts that hovered around his sides and dispersed into the wet air.

The other vampires were cowering in the corners and prowling in place. He could hear their whimpers and sensed their dishevelment. They felt helpless. This time he wasn't the cause of their distress.

Standing before him was the winged one. Those like it hid on the roofs of buildings. He doesn't see them very often. Nor did he prefer to. He was used to being the oddity in the horde. The strong force that preyed upon his own kind. Yet, with the winged ones, they weren't easily unsettled by him as the others.

He stepped forward.

The gravel turned under his feet.

The winged one's disjointed head perked to the side. He could see the narrowing and widening of its earhole without its outer cartilage. As the winged one turned half-way, he saw the regular girl's body laying limply under its transparent wing. Her neck was covered in her own blood as the rain smoothed down her hair.

The sweet mixture of her diluted blood sunk through the cracks and disseminated outwards. Her scent crept through his flaring nostrils, stimulated his odor molecules, transported them to his brain and deteriorated his impulse control; triggering his predatory instinct to protect its food, rather than protecting the regular.

His black pupils thinned into a black line, as one eye turned purple and the other green. Four fangs elongated down his pink gums through the crease of his lips. His nails lengthened into sharp claws that clanked together like the sound of brushing knives.

The winged one rotated completely, sensing the challenge. It threw his wings back, mouth forward and let out a yell.

They both charged at each other.

He jumped in the air, while the creature head butted his chest. He hunched forward over the bitty head. Its red beak breached through his stomach, but the minor discomfort was overlooked. He spread his fingers, hooked its nails into its earholes and scooped the eardrums out. Then, he tightened his fists and pounded against the ruptured pits. Its beak separated within his abdomen as it yelled out in agony.

He growled out in pain.

He was about to reach under its head to tear through the mouth, but the winged one slammed his body into the ground.

He screeched as the beak went deeper in his body.

The winged one pulled back and tried to stab him again.

The vampire rolled over under the creature's abdomen. It's bulging stomach practically pushed him back into the ground, suffocating him. Then, it contracted back into a shriveled ball. He awaited for the abdomen to expand. When it did, he straightened his fingers and stabbed his claws through the stomach and held onto the intestine.

The winged one cried out, immediately flapping its wings to fly. Though, the higher it flew, the more the intestines pulled out of its stomach.

The creature whimpered as its long organ kept him flying further away. The vampire tightened his grip and sharply pulled the intestines out of its body. The intestines fell out, falling to the floor like jumbled rope. It's black fluid sprayed over the air, replacing the clear liquid. It splattered on his face, along with heavy chunks.

The vampire licked his lips, grabbed a chunk from his shoulder and then threw it into one of the vampire's faces, who was coming too close to the regular girl.

The thing hissed, nonetheless retreated.

The winged creature collapsed, moving closer to the ground. The vampire jumped into the air, passing through the heavy clouds, the sun brushed the crown of his head and allowed gravity to pull him down onto the creature's back. They dove into the rocks as the creature's abdomen exploded in a great splash under his feet.

The creature widened its mouth to cry out, while the tongue embedded with teeth shot out and attached to one of the other vampires.

Before the creature could close its mouth, the vampire sunk his finger into its nostrils and ripped the oozing red flesh backwards. He peeled the skin to the surface of the skull, which he hammered down with his fists till it cracked and revealed the grey unsmooth flesh.

The vampire opened his mouth, stretching his jaw till it was abnormally elongated, clamped onto the brain and ripped out a slimy, lumpy piece. He kept doing so till the winged one stopped moving and chewed on the last piece before spitting it out on its body.

The body was unmoving. The wings would erect and collapsed slightly, but he sensed it was dead.

He walked out of the mush, staring at his prize. The surrounding vampires sulked in their corners and watched.

He began to crawl on his hands and knees towards the regular girl. Her succulent skin painted in her mouthwatering blood. He purred once he got close enough to devour her.

He stretched his hand, itching to touch her. All of a sudden, the sun pierced through his skin. He shrieked back, holding his hand to his chest. His skin was returning to him quickly but it wasn't the only thing. His impulse control shifting back into its regular place and his uncontrollable cravings receded. His straight pupils muddled into normal circle arrays within two blue irises.

He blinked twice to assure he truly returned to his normal stature.

Again, the light shined in a thin line upon his shoulder.

He jumped.

The other vampires began to jerk and scatter upon the roof as well as more lines of light began to breach through the drying air.

He looked up.

The fluffy things were moving in the sky.

The vampires began to speed away from their common enemy. Some tried to defy its advantage. He noticed the two vampires, who was also following the regular girl from the first time he saw her. He fed off of the female vampire, while the male watched. They were both attempting to dodge the light to stay near the regular girl. However, they went into hiding once their skins were enflaming with fire.

He looked back at the regular girl, hearing her shallow breath and low pulse. He carefully dodged the sunrays and stayed within the shadows. When the vampire got to her, despite the sun, he grabbed her leg and pulled her into the shade.

The vampire slit his wrist with his nail. After, he pressed his bleeding wound into her mouth. The first time he did this she was near gone. He cut through her skin and gave a tiny sum. But now he found himself giving more.

The more he gave, the more they were connected.

The regular girl looked...quiet.

For once.

As she drank, the vampire felt more...inside of her. His blood circulated around her body, pumping through her heart and strengthening her pulse. He could feel the holes in her neck and leg closing.

She was returning to normal.

He heard a groan.

A regular male was bleeding out across the roof.

He was breathing rapidly.

He smelt...peculiar.

The older vampire narrowed his eyes. This regular male was the one he saw through the regular girl. He led her to the building, trapped the girl, and now, she was here.

Bleeding.

He had an overwhelming wanting to rip his head from his neck.

But why?

The vampire didn't understand.

He forced himself to look towards the regular girl.

Her eyes were closed, but brows creased.

The vampire wasn't feeling just the physical change.

Suddenly, without his choice, his eyes clouded in a bright blue and he was instantly pulled inside of her.
