Amrit's POV

'I walked near the huge sea. I was smiling when I heard someone call my name. I turned and saw Laksh.

"Rajkumari, come here I have something for you" He shouted.

I blushed and started walking towards him.

"Amrit, don't! " I heard Kanha's voice.

I turned and saw Kanha standing on the other side. His expression was serious and was trying to tell me something.

"Rajkumari, please, trust me" Laksh shouted making me look at him again. His face looked innocent and made me feel that he would never betray me ever.

I again looked at Kanha. His face warning me about something.'

I woke up in terror, my hands were shaking.
My face was filled with sweat.

What is happening with me?
My dreams have always told me something about future, but this dream...
Kanha and Laksh were on opposite sides telling me the opposite things to do.

I took a bath and wore a plain green saree.

Ammu, calm down.
You are just overthinking.

I looked outside the window.

Oh no! I am already late.
I promised Laksh to meet him early today.

I wore a pair of earrings and walked outside.

I was walking while adjusting my saree when I bumped into Kanha.

"Ouch!" I said and then looked at his face.

"Kanha!!" I shouted hugging him, my face lit up.

"Oh so you finally remembered me. I thought you have forgotten me otherwise you would have visited me once by now" Kanha said dramatically.

"What does that mean Kanha? I just visited you a few days ago during Subu's wedding." I said trying to reason.

"That was a month before, Amrit. And you used to visit me every 10 days, earlier. You have changed." Kanha stated.

So much Drama, Kanha
So much Drama.

"Ok. I am sorry"I said finally giving up.

He looked at me mischievously.

"Come with me, we all are gonna have some time together" He said pulling me towards the huge hall.

But...
Laksh must be waiting for me.

I walked inside with him.

"Ammu!" Subu exclaimed. "Come sit beside me." She said gesturing me to sit with her.

I nodded and started walking towards her but Kanha didn't leave my hand.

"No.. she will sit with me." Kanha said in a childish way. "You sit with your Aarya" and he made me sit beside him.

Subu blushed while I was laughing.

I guess Kanha is right,
I have been giving family a bit less time for Laksh.

"Bhrata... why do you always tease me?" Subu said as she sat beside him too.

I wish we had phones in this era.
At least I could have messaged Laksh that I will be late.

We talked for a long time, from some childhood memories to some teasings and some deep conversations.

I walked outside the hall and saw that it was already sunset.

I am late.
Laksh must be waiting since the morning.

I started walked out when Kanha called me from behind.

"Amrit, where are you going this late?" He asked with concern.

Should I tell him?
But Laksh said that he wanted sometime.
What should I do?

"Kanha, just going for a walk to have sometime alone." I said while feeling sad to have lied to him.

"Are you sure? You are not hiding anything from me, are you?" He asked looking directly in my eyes.

He is the god.
How can I hide something from him even if I try?

"Why will I hide something from you Kanha?" I replied with a fake smile.

"Okay, that's fine. Just be safe." He gave a warm smile.

"I will" I smiled back and started walking.

Would Laksh still be waiting?
He must have been gone, I guess...

I reached the spot and to my surprise, Laksh was still there. He was sitting beneath a tree looking tired.

"Laksh!" I shouted as I walked towards him.

He turned and smiled on seeing me.

I hugged him.

"I am very sorry for being late" I apologised.

"It's fine, Rajkumari" He said as he broke the hug.

He took a step back.

"Rajkumari.." He said with a bit concern.

"Is something bothering you Laksh?" I asked looking at him with tension.

"My family wants me to get married as soon as possible" He said in a sad tone.

"What?" I said in shock. "Did you tell them about me?"

"No. They will never accept the truth that I love you. Until..." He said and looked into my eyes.

"Until?" I asked softly.

"Until we get married and present ourselves in front of them. Then they won't have any choice." He said with sadness in his voice.

"Get married now?" I said freaking out "But I don't think I am ready. I haven't even told Kanha about us."

"We will tell them everything..." He said trying to make me understand. "But first we need to get married. We will get married here only. I will arrange everything. Then I will take you to my kingdom and then we can talk to Vasudev and everyone else, explaining them our situation."

"But... I don't know if I am ready. Being married is a responsibility and I don't think I prepared to tale it right now." I said while being in deep thinking.

Plus, I can't take such an important step without informing Kanha.

"Trust me Rajkumari, you are ready." He said as he caressed my hair slowly.

"Okay... I guess that's the only option we have." I said with a small smile.
