"So you have to go to New Orleans because some witches don't like you?" Rosa asked as she laid in bed next to Klaus.

He sighed, "It's a little more complicated than that, sweetheart."

"Can I come?" She asked. Klaus was about to say no, when she cut him off. "Please. I've always wanted to. The music...the dancing...the fun. Please." Klaus smiled softly.

"If your heart really desires it." Rosa smiled. Klaus leaned over to kiss her when Rosa suddenly vamp speeded off the bed and into the bathroom. Klaus soon heard the sound of her throwing up. "Rosalina...are you alright love?"

At first there was no response. He was about to get up when he heard, "No. Do not come in here. This is a sight you don't want to see."

Klaus shook his head, "If there is something wrong with you, I can help." He told her.

After a few minutes Rosa slowly walked back into the room and sighed. "I thought vampires couldn't get sick."

Klaus nodded, "They aren't supposed to."

"Actually...I feel fine now." Rosa said calmly. "I'm gonna go get ready." Klaus watched concerned. He's never seen a vampire throw up unless they were dying from something...like a werewolf bite or they were spelled by a witch.

Klaus sighed, "Rosalina maybe you should stay home. It's not going to be fun. I have a lot of stuff to do. No time for a tour."

"But I already texted Hayley that I was gonna be there. She's there right now, actually."

Klaus looked at the girl curiously, "You texted her? Since when are the two of you friends?" Rosa shrugged. "Look, Rosalina, you have to know that I might not come back to Mystic Falls."

Rosa looked up at Klaus confused. "What? Why wouldn't you come back?"

"I try to make a habit of not staying in one place for to long." Rosa shook her head. "But you said you wanted to come with me—"

"Yeah, for a weekend trip. Not for eternity."

Klaus sighed, "Rosalina, you're graduating high school. You aren't going to college. There's nothing keeping you here." He said softly. "Come, live a life with me. Get out of Mystic Falls,"

Rosa shook her head, "I can't just leave."

"Alright, you can come for the weekend and I'll take you home. I'll let you graduate high school and then we'll see what happens."

Rosa hesitantly nodded. She had never even thought of it. Klaus was a vampire who was also hated by all other vampires. He needs to keep moving. And Rosa's a vampire now. She can only stay in one place before people realize she isn't aging.

"Okay, you go do whatever you have to do. I texted Hayley, she's at some restaurant so I'm going to find her. Call me later." Rosa said as she got out of the car.

Klaus nodded, "Please be careful. This place is filled with supernatural creatures." Rosa sighed and kissed Klaus quickly before walking in the opposite direction.

When Rosa entered the place, she immediately felt strange. She looked around until she saw Hayley sitting at the bar, talking to the bartender.

"Hey."

Hayley turned to look at Rosa and smiled. "Hi. You're actually here." She said excitedly. Hayley then turned back to the bartender. "This is my friend, Rosa." The girl smiled at Rosa, but her smile quickly fell and she looked around nervously.

"Okay, we'll bye to both of you. I hope you find what you're looking for, Hayley." She said. Hayley nodded. "And Rosa, take a bite. It's Hayley's favorite."

Rosa looked down at the plate in front of her and then at Hayley. "Uhm...sure." Rosa quickly picked up the fork and took a bite of the food. She smiled, "Okay, that's great. I'll be here all weekend. I'm definitely coming back for that."

"Rosa..." Hayley nudged her.

"But food." Hayley frowned. "Fine. Bye..."

"Jane-Anne."

Rosa nodded before being pulled out of the restaurant by Hayley. "They seem nice." She commented. "Witches, right? I totally got that vibe."

Hayley nodded, staring down at a map in her hands. "This should help me find some stuff out about my family."

"Great. Let's go." Rosa said cheerfully. "But I want to be back for tonight. There's probably some kind of party going on, right?" Hayley shrugged and started to walk away. "I'm just saying, I'm really in the mood to get drunk."

Hayley looked at her new friend, "Aren't you underaged?"

"I'm a vampire now. I'm not gonna be underaged for the rest of my life." Hayley rolled her eyes. "Plus, that's never stopped me before."

"There it is."

"Oh shut up."

Rosa and Hayley sat in the car. Rosa was half asleep as she stared out the window. Hayley looked at Rosa and sighed. "What's wrong?" She asked.

Rosa shrugged, "Nothing."

"Spill it."

Rosa shook her head, "Really it's nothing. It's just...Klaus said that he's probably not coming back to Mystic Falls and he expected me to follow him wherever he goes. And I know there's technically nothing keeping me in Mystic Falls after I graduate, but I don't know if I could just leave."

Hayley looked at Rosa and gave her a warm smile, "Well, you know one day you would have to leave. And if your friends are leaving or going to college or something then why not just go with him. Party in New Orleans or go to France. It could be fun." Rosa smiled. "I say go for it."

"Well of course you do." Hayley gasped and shook her head.

Hayley then pulled over to the side of the road and took another look at the map. Rosa leaned over tying to also get a better look.

Suddenly the map bursts into flames. Rosa gasped. "What the—" Hayley said as she tried to throw it out the window.

Rosa ran out of the car and began to shout. "What the hell just happened? Fire kills vampires, Hayley. Just in case you forgot!" She said running her hand through her hair.

Rosa stepped back when Hayley's car started to emit smoke and die. "Are you kidding me?" Hayley says annoyed as gets out of the car. Hayley pulls out her phone and dials a number. "Hey, I'm looking for a tow service."

Rosa pulled her phone out next and was about to call Klaus when a loud screeching noise filled her ear. She dropped her phone on the ground in order to cover her ears and saw Hayley doing the same.

Rosa noticed people coming closer to them. She tried to warn Hayley, but nothing could escape her throat. They got closer and suddenly everything went black.

Rosa sat down next to Hayley and sighed. She suddenly saw Elijah walking up to her.

"So, have they been holding you here against your will?" He asked.

Rosa shrugged, "They lured me and Hayley out of the bayou and grabbed us. They've been doing some stupid witchy crap for days it seems. It's all pointless."

Hayley shook her head, "It's not pointless Rosa. You're pregnant."

"I'm not pregnant. Vampires can't get pregnant. Especially me. I was a stupid virgin. Now these stupid witches are trying to tell me that I'm the first ever pregnant vampire!" She shouted.

Elijah nodded. "Do you mind if I speak to Rosalina privately?" Rosa shook her head, but Hayley smiled and nodded before walking away.

"Bitch." Rosa muttered. Elijah smirked. "Okay, I already have one Mikaelson calling me Rosalina so it Rosa to you."

"Alright, Rosa." He sighed. "Perhaps if you knew my brothers story, it might explain how this is possible. Here, if I may." Elijah tries to place his hand on Rosa's head, but she backs away.

"What are you..."

"Relax. If you open your mind to me, I can show you." Rosa sighs and hesitantly closes her eyes. "Although our mother dabbled in the dark arts, we were actually just a family trying to survive in a time when it was quite difficult to do so. And, for better or worse, we were happy." He said. "This is, however, until one night, our youngest brother was by our village's greatest threat."

"Wait." Rosa said. "Klaus had long hair?" Elijah looked at Rosa. "Right, bad time. Sorry. Continue."

"The greatest threat, Men that could transform themselves into wolves during the full moon. Our family was devastated, none more than Niklaus. Desperate to protect the rest of us, our father forced our mother to call upon her black magic in order to make us stronger. This the first vampires were born. But with this speed, this strength, this immortality, came a terrible hunger. No one felt this hunger more than Niklaus."

Rosa opened her eyes and sighed. "He never told me any of that." She said quietly.

"He wasn't just a vampire." Elijah told her.

"He was a werewolf." Rosa said. "I know he's part werewolf."

Elijah nodded, "Niklaus was the result of an indiscretion our mother had hidden from us all. An affair, with a werewolf." Elijah spoke again. "Infuriated by this betrayal, my father forced our mother to cast a spell that would suppress Klaus's werewolf side, denying him any connection with his true self."

Rosa looked at Elijah and took a deep breath. "Wow." She huffed. "I didn't know..." She said.

"I suppose he just wasn't ready to tell you yet." Elijah sighed, "I cannot excuse his behavior, but you must understand, when our father hunted him—hunted us—for centuries, every time we found a moment of happiness, we were forced to flee. Even here, in New Orleans, where we were happiest of all. Not long after Niklaus broke the spell which prevented him from becoming a hybrid, he defeated our father. I thought this would make him happy. He was angrier than ever. I wonder if perhaps this baby might be a way for my brother to find happiness. A way to save himself."

Rosa scoffed, "There is no baby. Look, seriously it's a great story. You and your family have been through hell. I get it. But I'm not pregnant, okay. I can't be a mother."

"This baby will save him." Elijah continued.

"I'm glad you feel that way, because we need your help." Sophie said as she walked in.

Rosa walked out to go find Hayley. She was not pregnant. She knew she wasn't. She couldn't be.

"You're lying." Rosa says in disbelief. She shakes her head. "I'm not—I can't—It's not possible okay." She told them.

"Rosa, we think that maybe..."

"Shut up!" Rosa cried, cutting the girl off. "Just let me go." She looked at Hayley. "Hayley, what's happening?"

Suddenly Rosa heard Klaus's voice. "This is why you brought me here?" She heard.

"Hear her out." Elijah answered. Hayley stood up and Rosa along with her.

"I don't need to hear her out. I assure you, love, there is not a thing on this earth that will matter enough for me to waste even thirty more seconds of my time. Elijah, what madness is this?" Hayley starts to walk forward into the other room.

Rosa slowly walks behind her. "Klaus. You need to listen to them." She said.

Klaus sighed and watched as Rosa hid slightly behind Hayley. Her eyes stared down at the floor.

Sophie began to talk again. "Marcel may be able to keep us from practicing real magic in this town, but as keepers of the balance we still know when nature has cooked up something new. For example, I have a special gift...of sense when a girl is pregnant."

Klaus's face fell. He looked at Rosa who's face was still trained on the floor. "What?"

"They're lying." Rosa whispered.

Klaus looked at her and then back to Sophie, "What are you saying?"

"Niklaus...the girl is carrying your child."

Klaus shook his head. "No. It's impossible. Vampires cannot procreate." He began to get angry.

"But werewolves can. Magic made you a vampire, but you were born a werewolf. You're the Original Hybrid, the first of your kind, and this pregnancy is one of natures loopholes."

"No. She's a vampire. Rosalina is a vampire! There is no loophole!" He screamed.

Sophie sighed, "She was spelled."

Rosa and Klaus looked at Sophie confused. "What?" Klaus asked.

"It seems like it was very powerful and dark magic. Expression magic." Rosa sighed. She knew who spelled her. Bonnie. Or Silas using Bonnie.

"Rosalina." Klaus said calmly. "Rosalina." He started to walk towards her when some of the witches stood in front of her. "Can I...Can I just talk to her. Rosalina! Ros—Rosalina were you with someone else?" He asked, his breathing heavily. "Just tell me you were with someone else! I won't be mad." He began to shout.

She didn't respond. All he saw was Rosa wipe a tear that was falling down her cheek. "My sister gave her life to perform the spell she needed to confirm this pregnancy. Because of Jane-Anne's sacrifice, the lives of this girl and her baby are now controlled by us."

"What?" Rosa said as she looked at Sophie in shock.

"If you don't help us take down Marcel, so help me, Rosa won't live long enough to see her first maternity dress."

Elijah scoffed, "Enough of this. If you want Marcel dead, he's dead. I'll do it myself."

Sophie shouted, "No. we can't, not yet. We have a clear plan that we need to follow, and there are rules." Klaus turned towards her, it was clear to see his anger.

"How dare you command me! Threaten me, with what you wrongfully perceive to be my weaknesses. I won't hear anymore lies." Rosa watched, holding her breath as Klaus turns to walk away.

"Niklaus. Listen." Elijah told him.

Klaus turned back and walked towards Rosa. He looked at her. She was crying. "I don't know what to do." She said in a whimper.

Klaus shook his head. "This is a trick, Rosalina. They're lying. Let's go." He said.

"If she leaves, I'll kill her."

Rosa bit her lip and stared at Klaus. She was afraid. He could see it. But he couldn't do anything about it. This isn't the life he wanted. He just didn't know what to do.

He looked at Rosa before quickly turning around and leaving. Rosa stared after him in shock. Elijah looked at Rosa and then followed his brother out.

Rosa was pregnant. What else was there to say. She was pregnant standing in a room filled with witches who want to kill her. All of her friends are miles away and the one person who promised to love her just left.

She felt alone. Abandoned. Scared.

Rosalina Gilbert was pregnant and alone.

The End...

Just kidding. The sequel New Beginnings is out.
