Rosa walked down the stairs when she heard her front door open. She saw Caroline and Tyler walk in. Caroline was holding a laptop and Tyler was holding something wrapped in a blanket.

"No, no, no. You, get out of my house. Now." She said sternly. "You aren't welcome here. Go."

Caroline and Tyler sighed. "Rosa, we need Tyler here." She said. Rosa glared at the blond angrily. "If I can forgive Klaus, maybe you could forgive Tyler."

"Klaus did bite you, yes, but he didn't tie you up in vervain ropes." Caroline looked at Tyler and then to Klaus who shrugged.

After the two of them staring at each other for a while Klaus sighed, "Rosalina...maybe you should come into the barrier."

Rosa scoffed, "This is my house. I should be allowed to say who's not allowed in here." Despite her statement she walked next to Klaus and pouted.

Caroline and Tyler sit on the couch and Rosa watched as Tyler unwraps the blanket, revealing a sword.

"Found this in your attic." He tells Klaus.

"And you think finding the sword brings you closer to the cure?"

He shrugs, "You tell me. I was playing around with the handle on the ride over, and I found this." He continues to unwrap the sword to reveal a leather top to the sword. Klaus gets up and walks closer to Tyler, Rosa following after him.

"And what do you think this is?" He asks. Rosa looks at it to see it's some sort of lock device.

Caroline then stands up and walks over to them, "It's called a cryptex." She says. Everyone looks at her confused. "I've seen the da Vinci Code. You turn different sides to the different symbols to get the translation on the other side. And with the magic of the internet, Elena sent over these." Caroline holds up pictures of Jeremy's tattoo. "So now all we have to do is cryptex away. If you happened to want to help, we wouldn't stop you."

Rosa stifles a laugh. "I'm out. I don't do need shit." She smiles while Caroline rolls her eyes.

Klaus holds back a laugh as he looks at Rosa. "Right. Well, might I suggest using the magic of the internet to purchase an Aramaic-to-English dictionary from your nearest retailer." Klaus smirks and Rosa sighs.

Tyler turns to Caroline, "What's Aramaic?"

"It's a dead language. It hasn't been used since like, biblical times." Caroline tells him.

"Come on Tyler, keep up." Rosa says calmly as she pulls out her phone.

Klaus smiled softly before turning back to Caroline and Tyler, "Qetsiyah's native tongue, I'm guessing. You know, even if you had the best dictionary in the world, it could take days to translate." Klaus says as he sits down next to Rosa. "Perhaps weeks." Suddenly Klaus says, "In bas so-teen-too ara-ma-eet."

Rosa looked at him, her head tilted. Klaus smirked at her as Caroline asked, "What does that mean?"

He smiled, "If only you spoke Aramaic." He looked at Rosa who sighed.

"That was like 50% hot, 50% nerd." She said smiling. Klaus gasped dramatically. Caroline watched as her friend laughed, but it only made her sad. She knew Rosa could never have a life with Klaus. Something would always get in the way, either it being her friends or just how bad of a person Klaus was.

"Hey Rosa, why don't you come help us?" She said.

Rosa rolled her eyes, "What did I say about the nerd shit?"

"Right. Sorry."

Rosa laid back on the couch, he feet resting on Klaus's lap as she typed on her phone anxiously. "Why isn't Jeremy answering me?" She muttered angrily. "Jerk."

Suddenly Caroline spoke aloud, "Okay, this is it. We've translated all the symbols on the tattoo. Passage inside...requires a young senator, and a pretty flower." Rosa looks at Klaus who shakes his head grinning. "Okay, none of this makes sense!"

Klaus then begins to speak in Aramaic again and then says the translation. "What are you doing?" Tyler asks.

"I don't need to tell you my reasons. Caroline. Bring my sword over here."

Caroline walks as close to the barrier as she can get without having to worry about Klaus. He then gets off the couch, pushing Rosa's feet off of him.

He looks at the cryptex and begins to read it. "Silas rests on the far side, the means of his destruction at hand." He looks at the pictures of Jeremy's tattoo and then orders Caroline what to do. "Turn the cryptex to the right." Caroline does so. "Stop. The top of the hilt reveals a key to a nautical map. Turn it to the left. Now turn the other piece."

Klaus turns back to Rosa and sits on the couch. "So, why did you want to help?" She asks him.

He looks down, almost guilty. "There's something I have to tell you...and you may be mad, but I promise it's because I love you."

"What are you talking about?" She asks hesitantly.

Klaus takes a deep breath, "I love you a lot. And all I want is for you to be happy. It's taken me a long time to realize that the only way for you to be happy is to be human—"

"Klaus..."

"And it's my fault you aren't human anymore and if I could, I would be running around that island like a fool to get the cure for you." Rosa looked at him sadly. "But I can't. And now it's too late. So the best thing I can do is make sure that everyone you love doesn't grow old without you."

Rosa looked at Klaus confused. "Wh—what are you talking about?" Klaus walked away from Rosa and over to Caroline who was calling Rebekah. "Klaus?"

"Hello?" She hears Rebekah answer over the phone.

"Hey, it's Caroline. We have the translation of the tattoo. We're emailing you pictures of the map and instructions right now."

Rosa stands up and walks over to everyone. "Got it. Thanks." Rebekah says.

"Actually, it was me." Klaus tells her.

"Nik, you helped?"

"You sound so surprised, little sister."

Rosa watches Klaus carefully. "Shouldn't I be? I mean you don't want me to be human. You don't want any of us to be human. Why would you help us find the cure?" Rosa again watches for Klaus's response.

"Maybe I finally realized the longer I stand in the way of what you want, the longer you'll continue to hate me. Perhaps I want my sister to finally know happiness."

Rebekah sounds hesitant, "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me a hundred times—"

"No more fooling. No more games. I hope you get to live, and die, as you wish."

Rosa still watches him, confused. What could he have been talking about to make sure that they didn't get the cure?

"So do I."

"There is one more thing, Rebekah." Everyone looks at Klaus. Rosa was holding her breath, "There is only one dose of the cure. You need to find it first and take it. It's the only way you'll—" Tyler rushes to the phone to hang up before Klaus can finish.

He looks back at Rosa who walks through the barrier, away from Klaus. He nods, still watching her.

Rosa watches as Caroline and Tyler walk past her and out the front door. She can hear them shouting at each other. Tyler is freaking out because he thinks Klaus will kill him. He's not wrong.

"Rosalina, you told me you don't want your family growing up without you. Now Elena and Stefan and Caroline and everyone else. They can't."

"No, but Jeremy's all alone." She tells him.

Klaus sighs, "There was only ever one cure. I was just making sure that my sister got it so you wouldn't be left alone."

Rosa nods, "Well great job, Klaus. Now we just have to pray that Rebekah doesn't kill Elena in order to get the cure."

"I...I didn't think about that."

Rosa laughs slightly. "Of course you didn't. The man who's always one step ahead didn't think that maybe his psychotic sister would go a little psycho and kill mine."

Rosa looks at Klaus before walking out the door. "Where are you going?"

"Somewhere to get drunk!" She shouts before slamming the door. Rosa looks at Caroline and Tyler before she walks over to her car.

Seconds later Caroline walks into the house to see Klaus sitting in an armchair, his head in his hands.

"You can't kill Tyler." She tells him softly.

He scoffs, "Not only can I, I have to. I have a reputation to uphold. Moreover, I want to."

"Im not asking you to forgive him. All I'm asking is that you let him live, somewhere far from here."

Klaus shakes his head, "So he gets to live a happy life after he turned all my hybrids against me, after he tried to kill me, after he made it his life's mission to find the cure so he could use it against me—"

"We all want the cure...even Rosa." Caroline said softly. Klaus frowned. "I know you think that you are invincible when it comes to her."

"I don't think that."

Caroline shakes her head. "Maybe you are because for some reason no matter what you do, she still manages to find her way back to you." Klaus looks down for a moment. "But if you kill Tyler, it might be the final straw."

"I'm pretty sure she hates him."

Caroline looks at Klaus and sighs, "Not really. For now she does, just like she hates you right now. She gets over things pretty quickly."

"Well then you should hear about the grudge she's been holding for Matt." Klaus says, almost smiling.

Caroline watched him carefully. She could see how much he loved her. "Everyone that Rosa loves, loves Tyler. He's my boyfriend, One of Jeremy's best friends, Elena's friend. They'd all hate you. I'd hate you. So much more than all of us already do. And I think it's obvious that despite how much Rosa pretends she doesn't care, she does. She cares what Elena and Jeremy think. She cares what I think and what Stefan thinks. And if we all hate you, soon enough she will too.

Klaus looked at Caroline and sighed. "I know you want to protect Tyler, but just not thinking about him for a moment. Tell me the truth. Do you think that I could ever make Rosa happy?"

Caroline smiled, "I think that if you really start to try. To put her first every once in a while and by that I mean all of the time, I think you could. She's already happy, you just have to stop clouding her happiness with your idiocy."

"Tell Tyler to leave town immediately and to run and hide to a place where I will never find him." Caroline smile and nods. She runs back out the door.

Rosa sat at the bar in the grill and groaned. After about 4 drinks she realized that she can't drive home.

She tried to dial Caroline, but there was no answer. "Ugh, answer your stupid phone." She then looked at her contacts before quickly pressing on Klaus.

"Rosalina?"

"You are a jerk. A handsome, smart, dangerous, and hot jerk. But still a jerk. I love you and hate you and you make me feel like a crazy person."

"Are you drunk? Where are you?"

"Where do you think I am? The only place that has idiots dumb enough to serve me." She laughs over the phone. "Matt's gonna get in trouble with you. He let me get soooo drunk." She laughs again.

Klaus sighs, "So much trouble."

Rosa smiles and sighs, "Why are you always a jerk to me?"

"Well, I don't mean to be. I think, there might be something wrong with me." He whispers softly.

Rosa sighs, "Don't worry, I'll fix you. I have a whole plan with steps and everything." She laughs. "Step #1 in the Make Klaus Mikaelson a better man plan is to get you to fall in love with me." She laughs again. "That didn't take a lot of work.

Klaus chuckles softly. Suddenly he's standing next to her. Rosa looks up startled.

"How'd you get out of jail?" She asks. "I couldn't sworn you were trapped."

"Rosalina, I'm going to take you home alright. There's something I have to do, but I needed to make sure you were okay?"

Rosa gives him a thumbs up and smiles. "Don't worry, I'm just dandy." Klaus laughs and helps Rosa get up. "Don't forget to beat up Matt."

"Don't worry, I'll get to that."
