"Hey girls, want a drink?"

Martina and I both turned to our left and saw a big bulky guy, shaved head and really blue piercing eyes.

"No, thanks. We can pay for our own." Martina gave him a tight smile and we turned around once again to wait for the Bar man.

I wasn't really sure if I could afford one drink in this club. Luca and his friends had money, it was as clear as water, and I... well, I was broke as hell.

"Oh, you're one of those feminists?" Asked the guy in a mocking tone.

Martina stared at him, a disgusted expression on her face. "Of course we are. Now if you excuse us."

The guy surrendered and left muttering insults about women in general under his breath. I tried not to let it get under my skin, but Martina was furious.

"Can you believe that?!" She asked putting both hands on the bar.

The sad thing was, I was used to those kind of things. My ex boyfriend was really sexist, I realized that now, and men in general in my hometown were too. People were more close minded and had another mentality.

I was about to reply, when Luca appeared beside me, a little frown between his eyebrows. "Was he bothering you?"

"It's alright, Martina handled the situation."

Ace also entered into the picture and began talking with his girlfriend. He seemed calm, but his eyes were a little scary, angry. They were a very unnatural color, almost like amber.

I glanced at Martina and she was saying some things in another language. "¡El muy capullo!"

"What is she saying?" I asked Luca.

"Who knows." He shrugged. "She's Spanish."

"Oh." I didn't know that but now that he had said it, I had noticed a little bit of an accent before.

"What do you want?"

"It's okay, I can-"

"Come on, Riley. Don't make me insist. This place is expensive." He said gently. His dark brown eyes were bright, twinkling due to the alcohol in his system.

"Okay, uhm, strawberry vodka, please."

Luca ended up ordering four drinks, one for each one of us. I thanked him and gave a kiss on his cheek which he corresponded with a wide smile.

"So, do you like Karma?" He asked nudging me with his elbow. We approached the rest of the group who were scattered around a table in different small couches.

"It's huge." I admitted.

He laughed. "Yeah, and you haven't even put a food on the dance floor. Wanna try?"

"What? No, I don't- I told you, I don't know how to dance."

"Oh, come on." He tugged my hand, pulling me towards him as he walked. "You just have to move your body."

I became instantly nervous. I let myself go with the flow, not on purpose, alcohol made me carefree and reckless.

We started dancing, not just the two of us, but everyone in the group. I was a little shy at first, but then I realized that not everyone was a professional dancer, and that the only thing that mattered was to have fun. I moved my hips at the rhythm of the music and Luca took my arms to make me twirl. I couldn't stop laughing and I wasn't even aware of it, but when I finished my drink, another one was immediately replaced by it.

I made a mental note to thank Luca for that, and maybe get a little mad at him for that too.

Everything was red, yellow and green. I was sweating but I couldn't care less. I even danced with some strangers and at some point Luca had to take me by the shoulders and pull me towards him.

"Riley, time to go home." He said into my ear.

"What? No! I don't wanna go."

He laughed. "It's four am, they're about to close."

I pouted as if that would convince Luca for us to stay.

"Come on, party animal," He chuckled, "let's go."

When we got out of Karma -we were the last ones- everyone was waiting for the cabs. Leo had a tall, red haired girl -who definitely wasn't there before- under his arm.

Guess he wasn't sleeping alone.

"Do yo wanna crash at my place?"

I was humming a song and didn't realize the question was meant for me.

"Riley."

"Hmh?"

"I asked if you wanted to crash at my place."

Before I could open my mouth, he explained himself. "Uhm, it's easier for the cabs and stuff, you live in the other direction. I can sleep in the couch, you can have my bedroom."

At that moment, everything they'd say to me seemed like the greatest idea.

"Okay." I shrugged nonchalantly.

Sam, Jenny, Martina and Ace took a cab, and Josh, Luca and I took another. Oh yeah, and Leo took a third one with that red haired girl.

I was in the backseats with Luca when my stomach grumbled. Now that I thought of it, I hadn't have dinner and at Luca's place I was too busy talking with Martina and trying to mingle with everyone that I completely forgot about eating.

I poked Luca's ribs. "Luca."

"What?"

It was at that moment that I realized that alcohol made Luca calmer. He was so chill it was weird. He was always so spontaneous, crazy and cheerful. He was still really touchy though. He proved that when he rested the palm of his hand on my knee.

"I'm hungry." I complained with a pout.

"We have food at my apartment." He talked like a father would talk to his child.

"Good." I grinned glancing out the window. "I like food."

Shaking his head amusedly, he didn't remove his hand from my knee. Instead, he started rubbing his thumb around it in soft circles. The alcohol I consumed was starting to show its effects in the form of sleepiness.

"I'm just gonna..." I said groggily as I rested my head on Luca's shoulder. My eyelids felt heavy as I stared out the window.

And before I could even realize it, I fell asleep.

"Riri." Luca said softly into my ear as he tried to sit me up. "We're here."

I nodded, my eyes still a little closed and let him pull me out of the cab. When we arrived upstairs I was a little more awake, and I didn't forget he promised to give me food.

"Luca-"

"I know." He laughed. "Go to my room and I'll bring something to eat, okay?"

Not being in the mood to argue, I did as I was told and walked slowly towards his bedroom. I looked at his pictures on the wall once again, now recognizing all his friends. I even identified one where two very different boys smiled in their own way. The first one was obviously Luca, his hair a little longer than it was now, but the same childish face as he smiled widely. His arm was wrapped along a very changed Ace, his messy hair a little lighter, a small smile in his face. The two of them were holding medals and were wearing soccer uniforms.

They were adorable and it made me realize that they knew each other for a very long time. They might be ten or eleven years old in that photo. It must be nice to have a friendship like that for so long.

"Okay. I brought everything that I saw, but I think the easiest solution is that we make sandwiches."

I smiled at Luca who just entered his bedroom, his arms full of food as he opened the door with his leg.

"You didn't have to go all out for me." I chuckled.

"Just the best for you, Riri, you know that." He smiled.

I still felt a little drunk and I noticed the effects when I made the attempt to climb into the bed where Luca had placed all the provisions.

"Whoa, careful there." He said as he gripped my forearm.

"Thanks." I mumbled under my breath as I sat down crossing my legs. He did the same and we both sat facing each other. Taking two slices of bread, he began making his sandwich. "Don't you mind having crumbs on your bed?"

"Uhm." Luca looked around and licked his lips. "You're right." He suddenly got off the bed with a jump. "I'll bring some plates."

"Luca, we can eat somewhere else." I said amused.

"Ha. That's funny. You see? Mister 'I have to settle down and stop hooking up with girls' and Merida are in the living room doing the nasty."

I scoffed putting a hand on my mouth. "Merida?"

"Yeah, you know. Brave? That ginger girl from the club." He added seriously.

I couldn't stop the laugh that escaped my mouth. "Oh my god. That's gross! Why don't they go to Leo's room?"

"What the fuck do I know?" He whispered desperately. "They got caught up in the moment."

"Wait, but the kitchen is right next to the living room. How would you bring the plates?"

Luca put both hands on his hips. "Shit," he rubbed his chin, "haven't thought of that." He then look at me and shrugged. "Crawling?"

Rolling my eyes amusedly, I got out of bed and sat down on the floor, my back against the bed. "Let's just eat on the floor. Your plan doesn't seem like the best idea."

Luca came sit down next to me after he took everything he needed for his sandwich. He wouldn't stop singing lowly and moving his head to the beat. It was a song that I heard recently on the radio and it finally got stuck in my mind and had to start singing with him.

Everything seemed at ease when a loud moan came to our ears surrounding the room. It didn't stop there, groans and dirty talking followed it. I stopped eating, directing my gaze towards Luca.

He was as shocked as me and when our eyes met each other's, we broke out laughing hard.

"Oh my god! Does this happen a lot?"

"I've never heard anything like that." He laughed. "Maybe I'm always already asleep or maybe this girl is just too much."

Shaking his head amusedly, Luca got up and went towards his desk. He connected his phone to a speaker and put on some music.

He obviously couldn't put it too loud, since it was already five in the morning, but it did the trick, at least to cover most of the noises.

"I think I lost my appetite." He announced.

"But you already finished your sandwich."

"Uh-Huh." He winked at me.

I rolled my eyes as I tried to fight the smile on my face. I concentrated on eating and Luca walked towards his closet. All of a sudden, when I looked at him once again, he was only wearing a black pair of boxers, his strong glutes standing out.

I would be lying if I said Luca didn't have an amazing body. My eyes couldn't stop wandering along his broad shoulders, the muscles in his back... and god, that butt. The only one I had ever seen was my ex's. And it wasn't near as good as the one I had in front of my eyes now.

He quickly covered his body putting some sweatpants and a T-shirt on and spun around to look at me.

My cheeks grew fiery as the temperature in my body rose when he caught me staring. He simply ignored it and gave me a little smile, his eyes twinkling mischievously. I closed my mouth, which was a little open like a fish, and kept on eating.

"Do you want some clothes to sleep on? I have T-shirts, pants... although I don't have any problem with you sleeping in your underwear if that's what you're comfortable in." He raised his hands and shrugged.

"No." I quickly said shaking my head. "I- I sleep with clothes on."

"Okay." He laughed going towards his closet again. "I have a pair of shorts that definitely won't fit you but you can adjust them a bit." He grabbed them and threw them on the bed. "And I think this T-shirt will be fine." He handed them to me. "You can go into the bathroom. I normally sleep naked but since I'm sleeping with you-"

"We're sleeping together?" I asked, not bothering to listen to him. If I did, I would imagine once again that semi-naked body of his, and we didn't want to go down that path.

"Well, yeah." He pursed his lips. "I was gonna sleep in the couch but since there's currently a porn movie taking place in it, I would very much like to sleep in my bed."

I nodded silently before I went to the bathroom, clothes in hand. I tried not to panic at the thought that I would be sleeping with another guy as I slipped into the shorts. They were so big I not only had to adjust them as Luca said, I also had to roll the waistband until they more or less stayed in place. Luckily the shirt was so long it covered the shorts completely.

When I got out of the bathroom, Luca was already on the bed, phone in hand. The lights were already off so his face was slightly illuminated by the screen. I jumped on the bed beside him and quickly checked my phone like he was doing, even though I knew there wouldn't be any notifications there.

"Are you comfortable?" Luca asked softly.

"Yeah." I slid under the covers.

"They stopped with the wild sex, so I shut down the music."

"Good to know." I chuckled.

He let the phone on his bedside table and turned around to stare at me. "Everything alright? Do you need anything?"

"I'm good." I affirmed with a little smile.

"I'm glad you came tonight, Riri."

"I'm glad too." My smile becoming wider. "Thanks for inviting me."

"This is a regular thing, Riley, there's no escaping now." He added in a dramatic but playful tone. "Are you sure you wanna be part of my life?"

I chuckled. "I'll take the risk."

"That's what I wanted to hear." He smiled before a low yawn filled his mouth. "Goodnight, Riri. Hope you dream of me."

"Please, If there's a god up there, don't let that happen." I joked.

"Bitch."

I laughed as I closed my eyes. "Goodnight, Luca."
