Potter and Dumbledore attack the Heir of four Ancient And Noble Houses in public

Have both gone insane?

By Rita Skeeter

This reporter witnessed the most shocking and brazen evening on the night of the Boy-Who-Lived's birthday party at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Before the birthday party had started, Lord of four Ancient and Noble Houses, the Head of the Department for Regulation And Control Of Magical Creature and founder of the future Wizarding city, Wixenheim (See page no 4 for more articles on Wixenheim) Marvolo S. Slytherin Peverell Evarard Gaunt (for more details, refer to page 2) was noted to approach Lord of Ancient House of Potter, to greet birthday wishes to our dear The Boy-Who-Lived, James C. Potter Junior, Heir to House of Potter (See page no. 3 for more articles on James Potter Junior). But as the Heir of four Ancient and Noble Houses, Adrian Slytherin Peverell E. G. (for more details, refer to page 2) approached our child savior, Lord Potter was seen hurdling between them and trying to curse the Heir of four Houses, accusing him as 'slimy snake' who must be carrying Dark Artefacts of harmful nature! The readers should note, that the said 'Dark Artifact' was in fact a birthday gift for James Potter Junior, a harmless and beautiful magical clock with a Golden Snitch design, revealed when it was slashed open by Potter Lord. Fortunately for our Heir Slytherin Peverell E. G., his family Lord and father was standing right next to him and was able to defend his own son and Heir from Lord Potter's uncharacteristic vile words or attempts of cursing. The Deputy Headmistress and current guardian of our child savior, Minerva McGonagall had to step in and stop the Potter Lord before everything escalates and the Boy-Who-Lived's birthday party turned into a battlefield! (For a more detailed description, please refer to page 4).

This behavior shows Lord Potter is truly not stable enough to be safe around our children, it was the right decision of the Wizarding Child Care Services to save our child savior from the guardianship of an unquestionably unhinged and maniac ex-Auror. For that, this journalist applauds them. After all, no sane person should accuse an innocent child of carrying some dark artifact when his only 'crime' was he wanted to meet our child savior on his special day and give his wishes and a gift.

This journalist shudders to think about what could have happened to the innocent Heir of four Houses, if his Lord and father were not there to protect him? What would happen to our children if it was any of us instead of the Lord of the four Houses, and we were not there to protect our children from a deranged ex-Auror?

However, it seems it was not the end of bad things that happened to the house of four Ancient and Noble Houses, during the party.

Following the evening of the birthday (See the accompanying article for the full description of the party), right after the cake-cutting and photo session part was over, our esteemed Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was seen approach the Heir of four Houses, who was busy enjoying his own cake and holding a glass in his other hand at that time. Shortly after Albus Dumbledore approached him, the glass shattered without any provocation, earning startlement from the little Heir who seems to have no idea how or why the glass would shatter. It was not needed to mention that there truly wasn't any accidental magic involved, as this journalist has seen it shatter on its own.

However, shortly after the incident, after our little Heir's hand was healed by his own father and family Lord who came forward to diffuse the situation, Dumbledore was caught casting 'Legilimence' (For more details about this spell and its defense, refer to page 7) on the Heir, completely unprovoked and without warning. Fortunately, little Adrian was born gifted with 'Occlumency', (Defence against 'Legilimence' spell. For more details, refer to page 7) as claimed by his family Lord and father, and was already registered Practitioner of 'Occlumency' via the German Ministry Of Magic, which this journalist confirmed to be authentic. In the accompanying picture, one could see Albus Dumbledore stumbling after his spell had bounced off the little Heir's natural shield. Thankfully, it has no known lasting effect on either of them, as one of the Healers from St. Mungo's confirmed when this journalist contacted them.

The Head of DMLE, Amelia Bones had been present and had managed to settle the deliberate attack on the Pureblood Heir, for the time being, promising to investigate and consider Magical Restraint.

However, after witnessing this encounter, this journalist was left to wonder whether the glass shattering was another deliberate attack to kill the heir. Especially since Dumbledore had made it apparent to everyone that he thinks Lord Slytherin Peverell E. G. is He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named (more details on page 3) in disguise, while in reality, the Wizard in question is working tirelessly building a future city of all magical people and creatures' aid. This claim has proven futile and laughable by Minister Cornelius Fudge himself, who had been seen supporting the founder of the Wixenheim city.

Now, t his journalist wonders, does the senile wizard now believes this little gifted child to be He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, when the said child's father was proved to be innocent of the crime Dumbledore accused him of? Is that why he attacked him and tried to kill him?

"Dumbledore thinks we Slytherins are all evil, dark wizards," Says a 7th year Slytherin, who wished to be anonymous. "Dumbledore only favors the Gryffindors," Declares Isabella Abasi, a fine 4th year Slytherin and a Pureblood. "You can even see it in the detention reports, if you don't believe me, he only gives punishment to Slytherins while Gryffindor could do no harm, according to him."

Such words had caused trepidation to the journalist, who had then sought out students from other Houses to learn about their condition in Hogwarts. "I was so excited and happy to finally go to Hogwarts, like my brothers. While the other professors keep strictly unbiased, Dumbledore doesn't even care for us Hufflepuff, always saying we are exaggerating and lying," says one of the two first-years wishing to stay anonymous, while the other adds, "Neither does he care for the Ravenclaws".

How could we trust this man to be the unbiased Headmaster and look after our children in Hogwarts, if he thinks that Slytherins are the guilty and all non-Gryffindors are liars? What is stopping him from declaring the next child he sees as He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named and attacking them inside his school, while we are away from our children to protect them? Do we have to save our children from him by following the path of Lord Slytherin Peverell E. G. and applying for Magical Restraint as well?

I call upon the Head of DMLE to launch an investigation into this outrageous event. I call upon St Mungo's to examine Albus Dumbledore for his cognition and comprehension capability to judge a person. Clearly, he has lost himself to old age. I also call upon my readers to show your displeasure for targeting the Heir to four Ancient and Noble Houses to both Potter Lord and Albus Dumbledore. Such man shouldn't be entrusted with our children to -

Marvolo stops reading, pinching the bridge of his nose at the over-enthusiasm of the stupid witch. Hadn't he specifically told every one of his followers that for the moment, he needed Dumbledore right where he is? Why would Rita write the article from this angle? Damn it, she even called for an investigation for all of his posts! Why hadn't any of the Knight proofed what she wrote?

Oh right, in the hurry to get on with his impromptu holiday on the seaside with his family, he had sent Rita a note of approval to write the article as she wishes. He should have paused and thought for a moment. He knew his Knights usually get overly devoted to making him proud and acknowledging their worth. He should have known Rita would have caught the same fever as his Knights.

Marvolo sighed as he reread the articles. His eyes went to the line where Rita had asked St Mungo's to check Dumbledore and suddenly straightened.

Oh no, the herbs!

Marvolo felt like smacking himself in the face. While they wouldn't have detected the herbs, the Mind Healers can detect the effect of the herbs very well! Finding no cause as to what is causing it, they are obviously going to declare him unfit! He needs a brisk retreat plan, an improvised of the one he had, and he must make it quick before DMLE even thinks about following Rita's request. Fortunately for him, he already has thought about this when he had planned the sabotage. Unfortunately, he hadn't had time to experiment with this plan and make sure it will work. This is a fifty-fifty chance. But this is his only chance!

"Tit! Tat!" He quickly called out, casting a privacy charm. The twin House Elves appeared with twin pops.

"Master Dark Lord sir - "

"- Calls for Tit Tat?"

"Replace those bags with herbs with normal ones, save them under stasis charm. I believe there will be another Order meeting today." They always do, extensively, over a huge buffet, after every article, according to Severus, "When that happens, one of you needs to distract the House Elf or whoever is serving Dumbledore his next meal, while another one must add all these potions to his food." He said, quickly summoning several potions that he had confiscated from Knights Headquarters last week, stopping another prank war between his Knights. Again. "Also," He quickly scribbled some orders on the parchment. "Give this to Severus, make sure he is alone when you do."

Tit and Tat bowed deeply, before popping out. Now all Marvolo could do is wait and see if it works. He needs Dumbledore sane for St. Mungo's. He can only hope his Elves would be able to give Dumbledore all those prank potions. Then it is a matter of time for Severus to declare Dumbledore had been 'pranked' by his 'beloved ex-students', the known pranksters. If it earns them some earful from others, then it is nothing they don't deserve already!

But the situation is, Marvolo has no idea whether the Purgifying Potion he suggested would work on non-magical herbs or not. Only time can tell.

Marvolo sighed, irritated, and forced himself to relax into the chair, his mind going through millions of plans, quickly scrutinizing or discarding, modifying, and regarding another plan, if the previous one fails. Not one of them seems as likely as the other! While Dumble's resignation is necessary for most of their bills to pass, they are future quests, like in four or five years!

He can't have Dumbledore sitting idly and using all his brain cells into plotting and foiling his projects now. He spent decades planning them, and right now, he has almost thirty years' worth of future strategies already planned out, extending his kingdom to Europe, earning the respect Magical Britain lost, and thriving with the World. And for the moment, most of his projects are still too young to even begin, and the ones that are in motion are going to play a significant part in them.

One of them is the ongoing research on the origin of Muggleborn and Squibs' research under a different and misleading name. He has plans to publish their report and use it to push all the Muggleborn to register their names, no matter whatever the outcome is. Not to band them and make them into slaves as Dumbledore thinks he would do, but to stop them from attaching themselves to Muggle World and risk exposure. He already has several ideas on how he is going to achieve it. But for them, he needs to identify all the Muggleborns first. He can't let anyone know what is happening, after all, his plan will be declared 'unethical' and 'not fair' to the Muggleborns.

In his defense, war is hardly fair and ethical! And that's what it will be, if the Muggle World discover their secret society hiding in plain sight!

Marvolo is intending to apply for the position of Minister by 1992, and if all of his plans succeed, in 1992 Magical Britain is going to hail him as their next savior. Marvolo will then fire Dumbledore and take all his positions himself to design the world as he sees fit. A world, where his little son can be himself, not afraid of anything that could harm him for being a Naga and thrive.

Now, if Dumbledore quits his job early and starts poking around in Marvolo's business more thoroughly, he is going to know Marvolo had his people examining and investigating several Muggleborns and Halfbloods, using their blood for the research. This will be a big mess-up if he does that, and stymie their progress and Marvolo absolutely refused to do so! Dumbledore's spies may not be as good, but if Dumbledore himself has the time to investigate, he would make the connection and realize what was happening sooner than anyone! And Marvolo knows very well that even if Dumbledore's reputation is being dragged through the mud, he still is an influential person. He has the power to put an end to so many of his plans, as he did with Tom Riddle. Marvolo is not taking a gamble on it now. This life is his second chance and he is not letting it go to waste.

Marvolo can now only hope that Dumbledore is strong enough so his magic is going to wash off the residue of the herbs quicker than it normally would, helped more by the Purgifying Potion. Because if not, he will get kicked out of all his positions and that is something Marvolo would rather leave without, at least for now, until he has set all the programs in motion in a way that will be too late for Dumbledore to stop.

It would be so much better if he would just kill the old coot. Put an end to his misery and bring solace and then he can shape the world at his leisure.

Marvolo sighed as he opened his eyes to stare at the two pictures on the front page, both captured truly at the wonderful moment. The first one shows the photo of himself standing between his son and Dumbledore and speaking to Dumbledore while Hadrianus is standing close behind him, his small hands clutching his father's robes as he peeks from behind. Then ignoring Marvolo, the senile coot looked directly and unblinkingly into his son's eyes, for a moment. By the next second, he looked startled and then stumbled backward, before the loop restarted again. Thankfully, it didn't show Dumbledore's fall on the ground, it would have made his son look a bit more guilty for hurting him by pushing him to fall, and the Dumbledore devotees would have called for his head, ignoring what others says. Marvolo knows Rita had probably edited the picture before posting, making sure to make his son look like the victim here.

On the other half of the photo, Hadrianus seems to be staring at his palm, pieces of glass poking out of his bloodied hand, and the scarlet droplets falling on the floor. While most of his face is hidden under his wavy hair, anyone can tell it to be him by the similarity of the most recent styled and beautifully tailored pastel blue dress robe he was wearing in both photos. What makes this picture more than perfect is the fact that it had captured Hadrianus's long and despondent stare at his bloodied hand that could pull the heartstring of even the most cold-hearted battle-hardened men; and not to forget Dumbledore's beaming smile in the background as if nothing could please him more than seeing a child bleed, after sending the wandless wordless severing charm at the glass the said child was holding previously. A simple, but elegant piece of art, along with a detailed discussion and question about how the glass could break without provocation. The accusation is here for everyone to see. The additional picture of his adorable little child with a sad and confused pout is like sprinkling salt over the ulcer.

Despite the potential future failure of several of his plans, Marvolo felt like patting himself on his back. Damn, he truly orchestrated that one. And it is going to work well beyond his imagination. Only he wished the timing was right! Rita deserves a Crucio, and a pay rise. Yeah. She deserved both. He may be merciful enough to reduce the timing of the curse to ten seconds. After all, this is her first mistake, but what a splendid mistake it is! Truly a piece of art! Painting and playing with the words artfully, doing the harm beyond what The Dark Lord could have achieved with His bloodthirst and sadism!

Speaking of which, he really needs to make his son learn how to be sensitive to magic. He needs to pick up the warning of an incoming attack on his person. An ill target and he could have lost his hand to the mindless old coot! Besides, he needs to learn it to survive the Slytherin House, or else is never going to survive all those power-hungry cretins that are known as teenagers. Hadrianus is a Naga, his sensitivity to smell is strong enough so no one can sneak up on him unless they use a powerful smell cancellation charm, and his situational awareness is sufficient to detect a hostile situation from miles away. All he needs is to spot a magical attack coming his way. It should be easier to sharpen his sensitivity to magic in such a way that should become his instinct to detect any incoming attack towards him, magical or non-magical. It had saved Marvolo's life multiple times in the past.

As Marvolo started reading the rest of the Prophet, Nagini interrupts him, slithering into his Office. She looked around the office and froze, hissing in alarm, ":Tom, what is my Hatchling doing?:" She asked, watching as her pint-sized hatchling curled up in a corner of a room, poking his wand at the piece of parchment in front of him and he was shouting "Evanesco!" ever and ever, but all in vain, as except for a small scorched corner, nothing happened to it. The frustration is coming out in angry waves from the child, as he sniffed but continued.

Marvolo blinked as he looked up from the paper, "Do I, perchance, appear to be a being that keeps track of every breath the child exhales?"

":Yes,:" Nagini deadpanned. She knows him best, after all. She has a feeling Tom had left her son to do it because of some misguided opinion like 'letting him learn another lesson' or something like that.

Marvolo sighed, he could do without the accusation of being a stalker! It's not like he is watching him actively, they have the connection that let him know everything the child does - both Horcrux and familial bond. He keeps the connection open to make sure his son is safe, not to stalk him! She makes him sound like a pedophile! (Now that is something he needs to Obliviate to save his own sanity!) ":He has expressed a desire to master it in case Dumbles tries the same thing once more.:"

Nagini was skeptical as she finally tore her eyes from her child's miserable form, ":And he expressed desire because you 'explained' it to him in great and explicit detail about all the things Dumbledore could do if he has his blood, right?:"

Marvolo glared, staying silent because no matter how he resents Nagini for accusing him of manipulating his own son, that's exactly what he did. And he did it for his son's own good, why doesn't she understand that? He only spoke the truth! How is that manipulation if you speak the truth?

Nagini
