For the next several days, I began getting more nervous than I ever thought I would while around Todd. I don't want to feel this way, but I do.

Tonight, Nana had invited me to go play Bingo with her and her friends at the hall in town. So I agreed ad thought it would be nice and fun like it used to be.

I remember when I was a little girl and went to Bingo with my Nana. She had gotten me my own dauber and I had lived the different colors and would mark my page just to see the different colors and thought that's how you played.

So we headed on over to the hall and once we walked in, everyone seemed to be standing around, talking and having a good time. It was mostly older people, but there were a few young ones also. And just as I had remembered when I was younger.

We grabbed our daubers and papers with the games on them then took a seat at a long table of ten people while others did the same at the tables around us and then when I looked behind me to take a look at the decor, I spotted Todd.

What was he doing here?! Then I got my answer when I noticed Jessie come walking over and sits down beside him and kisses his cheek.

The caller of the game started his little machine that looked to be from back in the old days and started calling out the letter and numbers, one at a time.

We had played a few rounds and I got to say I was having a lot of fun. The women at our table were funny as hell and every time someone else would win, they would join the rest of us and make a disappointed sound.

There was a break after every two games and eventually, the game ended not too long after that.

People stayed and mingled a bit, including my Nana. I'm a little shy when there's a good amount of people, so I just went ahead and headed towards the snack table to wait.

They had a bowl of candies, nuts and chips in individual bags in bowls along with canned soda pops. So I grab a bag of chips along with a soda and stand in a corner then start eating.

I noticed soon after Todd and the girl he was with were standing at a good distance from me, talking to some people and I have to say that his smile is so sexy.

Then I suddenly see him look at me and I quickly look away feeling a little embarrassed. I swear, I have the worst luck in checking him out with him catching me every time.

For the next several minutes, I don't look at him and then thankfully notice my Nana wants to leave so we start to leave.

A Few Days Later

Throughout the next few days, I have been starting to think that maybe I can stay here longer than I originally had thought because I am starting to remember all the good times when I was younger and just how happy I was here.

Today, while taking a break from chores and all, I thought about heading off towards the place I used to go to when I was a little girl where I could think and escape from the world.

It's a beautiful place as it is a little ways into the woods behind Nana's house and is by the lake where nobody else knows about it-at least I hope it is still that way.

I sat down for a little while beside the water and just as I remembered it, nobody was in sight. I immediately began to relax and let the nice gentle breeze brush across my face from the shade that the trees were giving me.

When I begin looking out at the water, I start remembering when I was a little girl and used to think I could become like Ariel from The Little Mermaid if I had just stayed in the water long enough.

Of course that was never going to happen, but it was always so fun pretending.

Suddenly, I got the idea to just jump right in. So I stood up and looked to my right and left to make sure nobody was coming before I removed my jeans and tank along with my socks and boots. Then I walked towards the edge of the water before diving into the cool calm water.

Instantly, I was cooled off and was enjoying swimming around-I love to swim.

Then after a few moments of swimming around, I decided to just lay in the water and float a little bit until I felt it was time to begin heading back.

But the moment I started to stand up and swim back towards the edge to get out, I stopped when I noticed Todd was leaning against a tree, looking at me with a big smile and his arms crossed over his chest.

What was he doing here?!?
