Y/N's POV

She distantly heard the beeping of a monitor and felt a slight throbbing around her nose. Where...

her brain felt fuzzy and her tongue thick. She tried to move something, anything. Her finger twitched. Her whole body felt stiff and achey. She groaned, it felt like she'd been hit with a truck.

"Y/N?" It was a couple minutes before she had gathered the strength to open her eyes. Peering directly into them was Jungkook, his face taking up her whole line of sight. It was kind of startling actually but her 'what the fuck...' came out as,

"Nammm mmmm pooogggg..."

"How you feeling?" She tried to get some saliva spread around in her mouth.

"Mmmmm, eberbin hurps..."

"Yes, that tends to happen when you get the snot beaten out of you. Can you drink?" A glass of water with a straw appeared and he held it up to her mouth questioningly. Huh? She nodded and tried to sip, spluttering it all over the place and coughing when it went down the wrong way. Now her whole body didn't just ache, it downright hurt.

"Are you okay?!" Jungkook pulled the glass back, looking alarmed. She nodded a little, not much. She didn't want to make her head pound anymore. He held the glass up to her lips again and this time it went down okay.

"Jungkook." She rolled his name around in his mouth, trying to loosen up her muscles. "Where am I?"

"You're at the hospital."

"How long..."

"You've been out for almost a week." He grinned and said teasingly, "You sleep more than Yoongi-hyung."

"What happened?" His smile faded and he looked away.

"Um..." He scratched the back of his neck. "I guess some crazy fans decided they didn't like you." She rolled her eyes.

"Seriously, the immaturity." It was coming back to her now. She had been so stupid. Why had...oh. She reached out and grabbed his arm, her motions jerky and self-conscious.

"Jungkook. Did...did..." She didn't know what she wanted. Should she hope her condition hadn't changed? Or should she hope she'd miscarried? He smiled reassuringly and patted her hand.

"The baby's okay." Her grip relaxed. She wasn't sure how she felt about that. "Congratulations." He grinned. "I'm the first person who gets to tell you that..."

"Technically the doctor who told me said it first..." She grunted. He smirked.

"Okay, the first non-medical person..."

"Y/N." Her breathing stopped. That voice, for the rest of her days she would recognize that voice anywhere...her hand was engulfed in his and he took up all her vision, searching her face for...for what?

"Yoongi...ssi..."

"I'll give you both a moment." She heard Jungkook's footsteps tromp away. Yoongi just kept looking at her until she looked away.

"I'm proud." She looked back, puzzlement written all over her face.

"Bwa?"

"I'm proud of you." She wasn't sure what to say to that. He sat down in the seat Jungkook had vacated, keeping a grip on her hand. "How do you feel?"

"Like crap."  Her face looked like, well, she'd been hit with a brick.

"I also think you were very stupid. You should've had more security..." She sighed.

"Well it's not like it matters now. I'm not going to need them anymore..."

"You'll need them. You'll always need them." She closed her eyes, feeling tired.

"Why?" She heard him take a deep breath.

"Because I'm not going to sign the divorce papers." Her blood ran cold.

A/N:

Wow, 1000 views, guys!  Thank you!  I considered myself lucky when it had 100.

Also, on another note, I started writing on Wattpad to help me perfect and work out my general writing form a bit.  I'm proud to say I finally got a story that I've been turning over for months out and completed.  Accomplishment. :)

Sunday, "She Doesn't Like Flowers" releases its first chapters!
