***Announcement***

I've made decent progress on my other story so tomorrow I'll be posting the cover/synopsis and next week it'll start updating (with a special three chapter upload so you know what you're getting into).

This one features Taehyung and explores a theme prevalent in The Contract from a different angle.  I'll be looking forward to hearing any thoughts you guys might have!

Yoongi's POV

Hoseok flew out the next day to perform their next scheduled concert, then everyone flew back to Seoul. Y/N was only married to one of them but they all cared about her. They cared about Yoongi caring about her. And he needed their support now, more than ever. They took turns sitting up with her so Yoongi could feel like he could sleep. He was afraid of closing his eyes and opening them to find he'd missed her waking up. He wanted to be there. He never wanted to leave her side again.

Mark had swung by, not looking Yoongi in the eye when he visited. He'd left some flowers. Yoongi assumed he felt bad about all the assumptions he'd made now that he knew the truth of their relationship.

Lee was either at the company or at the hospital. Yoongi was amazed at how quickly Y/N had garnered loyalty in the few, short weeks she'd been running the company. The men she'd fired had ruled with iron fists, squelching talent and playing favorites. Real leaders had taken their posts.

Most of the shares were now held by either Y/N or investors she would have no problem working with. Her plan had worked, the former investors had panicked and sold. What they hadn't anticipated was the release of evidence of corruption and then the new company initiatives put in place to prevent those from happening again. The shares still had a long way to go but the new transparency already had talking heads predicting a steady rise. And Y/N had put in place a plan to step back, allowing the talented individuals under her to take the reins. Lee was her personal representative but soon she wouldn't need to be more than cursorily involved in the company's affairs.

"H-How is she?" He hadn't heard that voice for years. Jimin had fallen asleep with his head on Yoongi's shoulder so he had to turn slowly to see who had entered the room.

She had aged but he still recognized her.

"Aunt."

"Yoongi. My, you have grown." She smiled, a little sadness tinging her voice.

"Wha-what are you doing here?"

"I wanted...I wanted to see how she was."

"She'll make it." He said quietly. He couldn't forget that the woman before him was indirectly the reason why Y/N lay here now.

"I didn't know." She fidgeted with her purse. "I'm sorry." He took a deep breath.

"I know he controlled you as much, or even more, than us. I don't think either of us holds you responsible." The woman kept looking down.

"Even so, I am still sorry. I appreciate your graciousness."

"Are you going to leave him?" She shook her head.

"He may be a monster but...I still love him." She set her jaw a little though. "This time though..." She looked up and gestured to Y/N. "The doctors think he will wake up any day now. And she...she's made sure I'll be listened to now."  Y/N, stubborn and determined, yet always stopping to find the one person in the crowd who needed help.  Just another reason he'd fallen for her.

"He's going to be held accountable." His aunt nodded.

"I won't protect him."

"Good." He wasn't sure what else to say and Jimin stirred, giving him an excuse to not say anything more. The little woman watched for a few moments then turned and quietly left.
