Blaco flew out my official body guard, I think he spent all of yesterday interviewing people, because when he called to let me know he sounded excited like he had finally found the perfect one. My body guards name is Remus and he is very big. A mixture of muscle and fat. He has brown smooth skin just like mine and a shaved beard and he towers over me. Though intimidating he seems so nice. We met at the hotel when I got back to change into my Meet and Greet outfit.

Trisha took forever to do my make up so we were about an hour late for the Meet and Greet but Blaco says that stars are always late so I try not to worry too much about it. Trish did a good job styling me. Striped and fitted long dress with new D'tello sneakers, hoop earrings and a long strapped Gucci bag that was sent to me as a gift. I took a selfie in the car and captioned it "On my way to meet my loves." I posted it to snapchat and instagram and within a few moments, fans were tagging me in pictures of the extensive line outside.

"Wow." Is all I could manage as shock and slight nervousness ran through me.

"That's a lot of people." I let out.

"You will be fine. Turn your face, I think you smudged your eyeliner." Trisha fans off.

I let her do whatever she does and try to calm down.

"Don't worry, Chanel. I gotchu." Remus's deep voice coos from the front seat.

"That's not what I'm worried about, Remus. I know I'll be safe." I smile at him.

Trisha knows that I am nervous because I told her I was getting nervous since this morning and now it had manifested itself in my stomach as a knot.

"Drink some water, you're going pale." Trisha laughs.

I take a few sips and settle down.

"You were nervous that no one was going to show up. Look at that line, you should be happy." She mumbles so the others in the front can't hear us.

"Yea, I know. But now it's hundreds of people. What if I do something stupid? Say something dumb?" I question.

She shakes her head.

"You won't have time for that. You're literally just meeting them, signing their poster of the freestyle and taking pictures. You might have a conversation here and there but nothing crazy." She rubs my shoulder.

She was right. I didn't have a chance to really mess anything up because it would move fast. Especially with that many people in line to see me. I'm also suppose to be performing 2 songs at the end of it. Knowing this only gave me some peace. At least I don't have to talk, at least I can sing and rap like I've been doing this whole time. I take a deep breath as the car speeds past other cars on the highway.

"She did it again! Chanel Little has managed to get a seat back on billboards top 10 with the release of her Ballad, Nothing without you." Radio personality Angie chimes through the car speakers.

"Turn that up, Remus." Trisha says politely but urgent.

"It's pretty insane the pace that this young lady's career has taken off. Nothing without you is not just taking the US by storm, but her rap and singing has spread to the UK. Christian Bolly, Megan Tesler and Yomah, all singers in the UK have posted snaps and videos singing to the song or doing their own cover. What do you guys think about Chanel's hidden talent?" Angie asks.

It's quiet for a second. "Yea, lets take this caller." Angie says.

"Hi, my name is Amanda and I'm from Brooklyn, New York." A young girl starts.

"Hi, Amanda! How you feelin about someone from your hometown doing it big so fast?" Angie asks.

There is a pause as Amanda hears the question with delay.

"Oh my God, it makes me really proud. I love the singing too, it just shows how versatile she is and the song was hard to do after coming out of such a hard situation. I respect her." Amanda says.

"I agree, thank you Amanda. Let's take another caller."

"Hi, my name is Justin and Chanel is just absolutely stunningly beautiful. I loved the ballad because it showed a softer side of her but I think her rap is gonna take her place. Shoutouts to my Brownsville people. I'm from the Ville too."

"Thank you, Justin. Shout out to all of the Ville!" Angie repeats.

"What's up y'all, my name is Jay and I'm from Cali. I'm actually waiting on line to see her now. That's bae right there. All her singles been fire. She deserves the recognition she gettin and she real strong for getting right back to work after the disaster a few weeks ago."

"Hi, my name is Paula and I love Nothing without you. It's the best song she has released so far. caught that one verse was about her Mother and the other verse was about Flex but I want to know who that last verse was about, so y'all need to get her on the show!" Paul yells and then laughs.

Trish and I giggle.

"You damn right, we actually have been trying to get her on the show. We will let y'all know how that goes soon." Angie says.

I look at Trisha confused and she shrugs.

"Maybe they already spoke to Blaco." Trisha comments.

"Alright, thank you for calling in. Here is Chanel's newest song 'Nothing without you', you are listening to Power 105.1 and this is ya girl Angie Martinez, let's get it."

'Nothing Without You' begins play for the third time since we have been in Cali and as we enter the Mall parking lot, a few police cars are scattered about the main entrance. We didn't pull up in the limo. I guess it would be a little too obvious but the car was still a pretty nice one so everyone knew when I had arrived anyway.

Our diver, drives us up to the entrance and then gets out of the car, walks around to my side and opens my door. Cameras are flashing before I even exit. Remus has already exited and is waiting by the side, the way clears for me and I step out of the car not as gracefully as I wanted. The screams and yelling are immediate and welcoming. I smile and wave. Trisha gets out after me and we walk with Remus up to the entrance and inside the huge mall.

No one even tried to tackle Remus but he still had to push a few people to the side as they were getting a little too close to me.

"You will get to meet her inside." He kept saying as an apology to the young audience.

I didn't know some of my fans were so young but I appreciated it none-the-less.

There is a private section of the mall for me, with the Atlantic Records picture board/ red carpet up. My autograph table is a few feet in front of it with a few bottles of water, a pen and some extra flyers.

Blaco calls and I pick up quickly.

"Yea." I answer.

"Okay love, don't be nervous. Take a few minutes to use the bathroom, freshen up, fix your hair. Then give Remus a nod when you're ready to start letting the line into the mall. He will tell the coordinator. I'll see you for your show tomorrow." Blaco says. He sounds like a concerned Father.

"Okay. Thank you." I respond.

I see a few flashes and notice that some of the paparazzi are inside the mall but standing upstairs on the balcony.

I go to the bathroom with Trisha and do as Blaco said.

As I am fixing my hair and adjusting my clothes, Trisha blurts out laughing.

"WHAT?" She yells looking at her phone.

"What?" I ask quickly. She is already making me more nervous.

She turns her phone to me and The Shade Room, one of social media's ultimate celebrity sources has a picture of myself and Mila smiling big, face pressed against each others. The huge title reads.

"Best Friends in LA"

"Wow, that was fast as fuck." I comment laughing to myself.

"I'm your best friend!" She says like a spoiled child.

I look at her with a blank expression.

"Trisha?" I look at her firmly. "Who are you telling that to?"

She scuffs and scrolls down the article.

"Chanel and friend took a trip to High Top studios to visit Mila as she concluded her Fashionista photoshoot for the cover of Vanity earlier today. Mila posted this picture on snapchat shortly after Chanel's visit. Are the two sweethearts of the music industry becoming best friends?  Does this mean a collaboration? " Trisha reads out loud.

I reapply some lip gloss and smile in the mirror.

"Look, the fans are already going insane, just eating this shit up. They love you two together." Trisha speaks quietly on the last sentence.

"It's just publicity, Trish. You were there when she was rude to us. Why are you acting like this is a big deal?" I ask calm.

"You're right. My bad girl. Get that money." She laughs and closes her phone.

"Yup, that's the only reason I would even talk to her. She thinks she's better than me, you saw that shit?" I question raising my eyebrows.

Trisha touches my arm briefly and puts her hand to her chest. "I remember when I used to do mall appearances two days ago." She mimics in a british voice.

We laugh and exit the bathroom. I take my seat at the table and nod to Remus and he signals the coordinators to open the doors so the line can travel inside.

The paparazzi tag along as my fan make their way up to me. A few dozen cameras and cellphones are pointed at me immediately and I try to pretend they aren't there and hope to God I don't do any ugly faces that might resurface later.

"Hii." I greet as the first person in line comes up to meet me. She is about 16 years old and she smiles so big that it really warms my heart.

"Hi, oh my God. I love you so much." She says handing me her poster. I sign it off with the autograph Mac and I sat down for hours designing.

"Thank you for all your support, I really appreciate it." I smile back.

"Can I have a hug?" She questions.

"Of course." I answer. I get up and hug her tightly. I am slightly taller than her. She thanks me again and then leaves so the other person can come up.

Trisha is on the side, in charge of my social media. She snaps and takes videos of some of the fans. Fans wanted pictures with her too.

"I think you're so funny." One of the young ladies said.

Trisha was surely known for her antics by now.

About three of the girls from the meet and greet were crying. It almost made me cry. I tried to explain to them that I'm not even worthy of their tears, that I'm just like them. We pose for a picture but they never smiled, they just kept crying.

I dab at my eyes with my towel before I accept the next person. Trisha checks my make up and gives me the okay.

"Hold it together babe." She says from the side.

A few more hours pass and the line shortens up as my time draws to a close.

I am given a 30 minute break to freshen up again as they get the stage ready for my performance. I am exhausted now but I manage to find all the energy I need for the Pop Off Freestyle. It's a joy having everyone sing the lyrics, there is one word that they missed.

I slow things down for Nothing Without You, this would be my first time performing it live and my first time singing live at all. I try not to think about it as Devin's piano chords begin in the background. I come in confident

""I curse the day that I lose you

I've known no other love so strong

Built me up like your soldier

Raised me up like your Dawn

The biggest part of me was knowing who you are

You say the thanks you get is knowing i'll go far

You are my everything and I see that you mean everything to me

You weren't my everything till I almost lost you and realized I had nothing

Nothing without you

I have nothing without you"

The fans join in with the chorus and some mouth the whole first verse to me. I make sure I send them all my love through my eyes. The must have listened to it multiple times to learn all the words so quickly.

"Shout out to Flex. I love you and I'm glad you're doing better." I say into the mic and the fans go crazy. I sing the verse dedicated to him and everyone sings that verse perfectly. My fans were playing favorites I can tell.

" I curse the day I lose my way in this strange part of town

You trained a dragon to start a fire

And burn this city to the ground

Never had a Father apart from the one looking down

Rewrote the story, filled in the beat and now my heart sounds

The biggest part of me was knowing who you are

You say the thanks you get is knowing i'll go far

You weren't my everything till I seen that you meant everything to me

You weren't my everything till I almost lost you and realized I had nothing

You weren't my everything till I seen that you meant everything to me

You weren't my everything till I almost lost you and realized I had nothing

Nothing without you

I have nothing without you"

The beat slows down for Trevon's verse and I sing it wit the most passion, knowing that he would somehow be watching. How he's managed to keep up so far? I have no idea. But I expect him to do it again.

"The Ville can't be the same without you

Locked and unloaded behind those bars

I promise to be the anchor that grounds you

I promise to never chain up my heart

You took the key when they took your freedom

You bailed me out and I left you in

But if you can't hear me calling

Call back, I'll answer on the first ring

The biggest part of me was knowing who you are

You say the thanks you get is knowing i'll go far

You weren't my everything till I seen that you meant everything to me

You weren't my everything till I almost lost you and realized I had nothing

Nothing without you

I have nothing without you"

The fans go crazy and i take a moment to walk up to them and hug a few people in the front row and touch as many hands as I can. Remus gives me a warning look, I know such close contact makes him nervous but I had to show all my love.

"Thank you so much for vibing with me y'all. I appreciate it. Performing tomorrow, thank you gain for selling those tickets out! See some of you there. I LOVE YOU LA!"

I give the coordinators the mic and Remus and Trish are by my side as we leave out with mall security from the back entrance.

"Good job. You killed it." Trisha pats my back.

I smile big.Because I know.
