The Carnival was a joyful place, where friendship and loyalties were made, and where the laughter of joy, and the dazzling lights illuminated the city. Whenever people talked about it, it would bring happiness to their faces and delightful memories made by The Carnival, people would come from all around the world to see why it was so popular, and they soon understood why.

The amount of candyfloss and popcorn stalls, to the high roller coasters that conquered the sky, and the lively music that boomed through the speakers so loudly that you could feel the bass booming underneath your feet, spreading throughout The Carnival. Everything inside The Carnival had lights making it look energetic, but the best time to view the lights was at night, with the ebony background and the stars shimmering infront of it made the lights look exhilarating, absolutely breath taking.

But of course this was when it wasn't abandoned, this was when it wasn't forgotten, this was in the 1980s. The reason why it had been deserted was because of the mysterious disappearances that had happened there. children would disappear, near the area and from The Carnival causing many parents wanting to keep their children away from it, and eventually it was shut down and no one has gone ever since.

Before we did. Just four friends that wanted to do something fun on a Saturday.

"Are you sure we should be doing this?"

Questioned Ariana and I simultaneously causing Dean to giggle.

"Umm yeah that's why I suggested it DUHH YA IDJITS!"

Dean answered sarcastically while rolling his eyes as Sebastian jumps up and down in excitement, being the energetic German he is.

"Let's go inside guys!! I wanna go on the roller coasters!!"

He said rather quickly with a smile and gleaming eyes.

"You do realise how old they are don't you? Plus considering your weight they'll break as soon as you get on them"

Ariana stated, proud of herself while Seb just gives her the evil eyes and swears at her in German. you were going to invite two other friends, one of them is to busy, you see, Ramisa absolutely loves BTS especially Jin. I mean don't get me wrong I love them to, but she would waste away her days watching videos of him and fangirl intensely, so there would be NO WAY of getting her out of the house.

Our other friend, Matilda, would come with us, if she wasn't missing. A few days ago she was walking home from school and someone had kidnapped her, put a black bag over her head, picked her up and ran of. I would know since I was a witness, it happened right outside my house. Matilda's appearance is dirty blonde hair, bluey big eyes, a tall built structure, and a unique birthmark on her forehead, it kinda shaped like a heart.

Because of her disappearance every child on our street is banned from going outside, it got so cramped in the house that I had to escape, I jumped out of my window, grabbed a thick tree branch that always tapped it at night, and slid down it getting to the ground. I called Ari, Dean and Seb straight away and they to left their houses, Dean suggested to explore the Carnival. Then I thought 'Why not? What's the worst that could happen', but now being face to face with it really changed my thoughts.

Just the way that dead vines, with sharp thorns, twisted around the rusted, 7 foot gates like snakes around branches, mulberry bushes surrounding the premises, an eerie feeling shot throughout my body as the wind lowly whistled in my ears, the thick fog began spreading everywhere throughout the Carnival and past our feet, giving me goosebumps, a low illuminating light began to shine from the moon. The way everything is laid out reminded me of a Tim Burton movie.

"Well why are we standing here? LET'S GO INSIDE!!!"

Dean screamed, I quickly put my hand over his mouth, stopping him from carrying on before he brings someone down here, he then grabs my hand and twisted it behind my back, causing pain. I donkey kicked him in the balls and watch him groan holding his crotch on the floor, while I look down amused by my handy work.

"YA BITCH WHY YOU DO THAT FOR?!"

He screamed in pain at me while glaring.

"It's cuz you tried to break my arm dumbass! Plus stop screaming, you'll catch attention and then we would have to go home!"

I said smiling.

"Are we going in or not?! I wanna go inside!!"

Ariana then said a bit loudly to stop me and Dean from arguing. I helped him up as we both giggled at the events that had just unfolded. We all looked at the monsterous gates and climbed them, Seb did a forward flip then landed in a gymnastics pose, Dean nearly landed on his feet but tripped over his massive shoes while me and Ari landed on our faces.

"WELL DONE YA PAIR OF DUMBASS' EVEN CAS COULD DO BETTER THEN THAT."

Dean once again howled and grabbed Seb's shoulder as he bent back in a fit of laughter. We both got up and looked at eachother then began to also laugh, once we stopped we all had a quick look around the marvellous Carnival, enthusiastic on roaming the abandoned grounds, Seb looked at us and said with a smug look on his face:

"Well then guys, let's explore the Carnival"
