Luke's pov

I was finally all fit and healthy again and had to deal with no more rest, meds and noisy brothers. Such a relief!

I had my usual routine but a better day at college and the first thing I did after it was to take Heaven for an ice cream with me. Like having all sorta soups and hot chocolates, I thought I will forget how an ice cream tastes like.

I dropped Evie back her home and drove to the warehouse, happy attending the training with no troubles chasing afterwards.

I got in and marched to the hall.

" Run bro, don't walk, Malik will train us." Vic said, running

I blinked my eyes. Nick? Eh? Are we going on a mission any soon? I was confused but I definitely understood the rush of being on time for the training, it's Malik training us being late is deadly.

I nodded and went to the locker room to quickly change myself then came back to join them all in the hall.

Good thing I was before the bell rang. Nick was already there.

" You were late." He smirked at me

I am late? How? I am on usual time or is there any change in the schedule?

" Sorry sir."

" Is sorry in my dictionary? Nope."

I looked at him expactently, this is the first time after I heartily accepted the fact that we are brothers he is training me and I don't know how to control myself from not being casual.

" But sir, I was on the usual timing." I said respectfully, being brothers still doesn't cut the fact that he is scary.

" Not in my timing. In my timing you are late."

How the hell I am supposed to know your timing bro? I just stood quietly knowing that now I have been marked late so nothing gonna make it better.

He chuckled and motioned to me to go to the line. I joined the line standing next to my friends. No one dared to utter a word.

" Start with 10 rounds around the yard. Then 3 sets of 10 bench press, 10 incline press, 10 dips, 10 military press, 10 db shoulder press, 10 skull crushers, 10 triceps pushdown and 10 overhead extensions."

My jaws were reaching the ground thinking that its just the starting. For the first time running seems the easiest task. But I was sure no one would dare saying a word nor whine and so would I. We all mumbled a yes sir and just started with the runs

" Move you asses, those just for chest, shoulder and triceps... You still have many things to do."

" Lucas, you will run 20 rounds, you didn't run for ages." My brother smirked

So this is how he was gonna make it up to me for the training! I realized it and just let out a ' yes sir'. I should have known I would be grilled, I was too tension free for this.

Since I had those extra ten rounds, I decided to not go too fast in the starting and save up my energy as I would need for the drills later.

The boys went to start the other drills.

" Work hard, I wanna see sweats everywhere and take rest between each for 30 seconds. Your watches will alert you when you will start again."

They howled a yes sir while I was still running

" Lucas, work you ass." He said as he laughed

I am working my ass, asshole!

" Are you? And who's that asshole?" He laughed more

I blinked my eyes too shocked. He is hearing my entire mind! So fucking creepy... Like not the curses but whole sentences!!

I ignored and carried on finishing my runs.

" Are you ignoring me? Should I make you run 100 rounds?"

This is so annoying! He punished me already and still all this!

" No sir, sorry sir."

" Stop stop!" He said

I stopped on my tracks. I am actually very confused again.

" So honey what do you want finish running or let you exercise and give you a gift?" He asked

" I don't know, Nick. I can do either, not many runs left to do." I said being confused again

" Who's this Nick?" He said smugly

" You? My brother?" I smiled smartly

He raised his eyebrows at me

I rolled my eyes and said defeated, " Sorry, I meant sir."

" Okay, fine, go with your friends."

I looked at him blinking my eyes and then just went to join my friends to do the exercises.

They were already ahead in the numbers of the set while I just started but a relief that I don't have to run anymore.

It's also I don't know weird or not but definitely new that I don't feel scared of my brothers in these scenarios anymore.

I don't even feel like they are any different, just my brothers. Earlier it felt weird calling them by their names but now it's even weirder to call them sir occassionaly, like I lost the habit so bad.

I was doing the exercises when one of the new boys said," Last time he came furious and took you away and today he is grilling us for your mistakes."

" Go tell him it's unfair." I shrugged and continued with my own workout.

He is exaggerating, he is not even grilling us yet. Like I have seen Nick being so much worse before but of course one or another has to put the blames on me somehow.

" Ofc you will say that as you know your brother will be on your side."

" Hmm, right. Shouldn't he be?" I said sarcastically and still carried on with my own drill.

" What's going on here?" Nick asked as

I decided to let him actually share his concerns to Nick about the drills so stayed shut initially.

" Nothing sir."

" No, honey, you can be free and tell me about your rants."

I bet he didn't expect it, like they are not my brothers if they are predictable.

" For real nothing, sir."

" Lying isn't good. Ohh is this a hint to punish someone? How is it, Lucas?"

" Lying has always been a punishable offence, sir." I replied curtly, not saying either yes or no.

" You are right. Isn't Fred has a nice punishment for this offense?" He asked me

Ohhh spice time!! Served him right and that way, others won't bother me too. Good for me!

" Don't beg, I have a training to carry, so if you wanna beg you can wait me instead of going to Fred." My brother said darkly

It was enough for him to get the cue and chose better.

" S..sorry s..sir." He said and left.

" Great job." He said proudly as he patted my head

I nodded in return, not knowing for what exactly? Maybe I didn't react like last time and stayed patient? Or whatever.

" But talking will cost you more drills, poor you." My brother smirked

I looked at him with a look like ' for real?!' what's with him being after my ass everytime!

" It's funny that's all. And no, it's not real." He answered my question

Stop hearing my mind! It's creepy!

" I can't help it." He chuckled and stood up," Theo stop, water, rest and start again when your watch rings."

I was standing stunned as fuck. I can't even think freely around him now!

I continued with the exercises as Theo stood up to relax and get the water.

When we finally finished as my brother let the boy rest while I am finishing the last set. I finished my set too and went to join my friends for the rest. We chatted a bit as we had water and stretched our bodies.

" Nice, another three sets of: 10 pull ups, 10 chin ups, 10 t-bar rows, 10 db curls, 10 pendley rows, 10 barbell rows." Nick announced the new drills

Ughhh a lot they are! But we started with them anyways while I kept whining in my head.

" Do we need a nice swat to stop whining and work?" My brother leaned down and whispered

I shook my head as no getting red at the idea of that embarrassment!

He chuckled and said," Words honey, I can't hear shaking."

" No..No sir!"

" Ohh not the thing I wanna hear."

" Then?" I asked having no idea again

" Swat to refresh your mind?"

" No! I am not calling you anything here!"

" Ohh saying no to the boss this is bad." He caressed my cheek

" Whatever but am no way saying it." I made it clear. If anyone hears me, even by mistake, it will be so embarrassing!

" Thank you, Luke, you really broke my heart." He said dramatically

" Ughh c'monnn not here!!"

He shrugged his shoulders and walked away.

" Sir!" I called him

" Yes?" He walked back smirking

" Sorry, don't be mad bubba." I said in a low voice for just us to hear going red and shy

" I won't, I won't goodness, this is so adorable." He cooed then walked away. He stopped Josh and made him rest.

We finished those too then he said," Now, last 3 sets of workouts, 20 of leg press, hack squat, squats leg, extensions lunges."

Our muscle gonna kill us! We let out a yes sir and started the final set!

We did the sets with the break of 30 secs in between then finally he halted the training for us.

" Go shower and stay in warm place." My brother said as he pulled me to him and kissed my forehead

" Yeah, I will." I smiled at the affection.

We dispersed, to locker room to change our uniforms and shower.

" So Luke, you won't tell us what did you do Last time?" Theo asked

" I won't!" I grinned, well actually I don't want them chewing me off for it.

" You won't tell?" Theo and Josh asked shocked

" Do you think that being in the warehouse will stop me from punching this face of yours? C'mon spit it out?" Theo threatened wth bared teeth

" It's not even important." I shrugged

" Okay, we are going to eat, you stay with Jaden if you want." Josh said as he grabbed Theo's arm

" Sure, see you all later." I smiled at Josh

" Yeah, see ya!" Josh winked at me

I smiled at him knowingly and went to Jade's room and marched in, long time I didn't see him too!

" Heyaa Jade!" I smiled

" Hey, Lucas." He smiled back

" How are you? Did you eat anything yet?" I asked as I sat on the bed beside him

" Yeah I ate something, Larry was here and he gave me food."

" Nice nice."

" When will you get free and safe?"

" Tomorrow, Larry told me that everything fine and I can start the training again."

" Really?! Like back to us as usual?!" I said excited

" Yep!" He said excited too

I jumped on him. " Ohh this is good! I missed you there too!!!"

He hugged me back," I missed you too there, annoying you, whining over your head, and all."

" YEP! So how was today then?"

" Nice, not bad, I'm reading on Wattpad to fill my time and there was some interesting stories."

" Ohh what did you find there?" I asked interested because in online platforms, you have to really find the good stuff, not everything got the quality though.

" Come see." He opened his phone and showed me the books he is reading

I identified two of them being by my favorite author of all time.

" You know the author?" I asked him

" Yeah she is nice talking with everyone." He told me then shut his phone and said in that serious tone, " Now Luke, I will ask you something and you will answer without hitting around the box."

" Mmm hmm okay."

" Why you lied to Malik about coming to me?"

Ohh I forgot Nick came here first and he would have figured it out already! I know I can't lie here now.

" I wanted to attend the training and he denied me because I was sick so I just said it and sneaked in there." I admitted kind of ashamed at my stupidity.

" Ohh, Lucas, you should have listened to your brother, he was out of it when he didn't find you."

" I realized afterwards. I won't again."

" You better not, what happened when he found you? I hope he wasn't hard on you."

" No, he was fair."

" Okay, so how was the training?" He opened his arms to me

I hugged him, resting peacefully. " Went well, Nick trained us!" I told him about it and how I got extra drills

He laughed," So paid you back."

" Yeah and not funny!" I pinched his thigh

" Ow bro, no pinching! You made my body with blood spots because of your pinching." He said dramatically

" Well deserved." I pinched him again

" Lucasss!" He whined then pinched my back

" Ow! Stop torturing me!" I pinched his cheek

He pinched my chest and my arm with both his hands, " You started!"

" Okay enough!!!"

" Okay!" He stopped

" Lucas!" Nick barged in

" Heyy Nick!" I smiled as we got up

" Evening sir."

" Evening Jade! I'm taking Luke, I'm sorry for disturbing your time."

" No sir, it's alright."

I hugged him. " I will see you tomorrow!"

" See you too." He said to me

" Let's go!" I went to my brother

He smiled and put his arm around me, " You liked the training?"

" It went good." I grinned too. " Ohh finally Jay will be back to the normal schedule from tomorrow! and he is safe too! I feel so happy suddenly!" I told my brother

" I'm happy as you are happy too." He kissed my cheek

I smiled shyly

" Why those red cheeks are so attractive to kiss huh?"

" They are not!"

" They are!" He teased

" C'mon! Stop teasing!"

" Okay fine. Wanna go with me to the UK?"

" Is this even a question? Hell yes!" I said excitedly,

" Really? You will practice what I teach you."

" Yes of course! I always wanted to! "

And maybe it could turn out something beneficial for what I plan to do ahead.

" Okay then, we are going next week, so prepare yourself well, have your time with your siblings, friends and Heaven."

" Alright! " I agreed, I will have to make it up to them a lot before going for a while.

We got in the car and he drove us home.

" I will work in my office for a while, get in the house, Sierra is there."

" Okay, come back soon." I hugged him and went inside

" Heyy mom!!" I called for her

" Luke, hey babe! How was your day?"

" Went good just that Nick was giving me hard time but I survived!" I said and sat next to her

" Ohh my strong kiddo!" She kissed me

I giggled, " Where are the others?"

" Peter and Destiny studying in the library and Diana in the kitchen, she said she wants to cook alone. She kicked me out." Mumma frowned as she changed the TV

" Oh it's for the good, you can rest and we can have some mother-son time alone!"

" Yeah, come honey, put for me pretty little liars that's a great show." She said as she pulled me to her and covered me with her blanket

" Sure sure!" I said and put on the show for her.

Well, it's a good day, coming home and watching TV with mom.

It also made me miss my mommy, like no matter how the day went it was always me laughing with her watching TV shows and eating my favorite food.

I just rested my head on her shoulder. She was kissing me from time to time and playing with my hair while putting some of the chips in my mouth.

I started telling her more about my day. " Mum, you know Jaden right?"

" Yeah, your friend that you thought he is dead."

" Well, he is finally safe from the danger and starts the regular life with us from tomorrow!" I said excited

" Ohh nice so my baby is happy huh?"

" Yes I am like very happy! And also mommy, I am going to the UK with Nick the other week."

" Really? That's nice. Why don't you let me know your friends? I'll go tomorrow to the warehouse and I want to see them."

" Oh of course! It would be great! And I can tell you all about them! Tell me more about your day!"

" I had Lunch with your father out. I met my group and we will start working next week."

" Oh and where's daddy now? Company?"

" Yeah, he is."

" Mom!!" We heard Dest yelling

Mom facepalmed herself. " Go check them, he annoyed her again. They can't stay calm for 5 minutes."

I grabbed the chips' pack, ugh only if they were sitting quiet I didn't have to bother to eat them myself.

Mom came back and sat in her place. " They are just kids!"

I nodded. " What did they do?"

" She hit his elbow by mistake and it made him mess up his sheet so he asked her to write it again but she ignored him so guess what your spider did, he doodled on her shirt."

I laughed at it, " And what you did?"

" I warned them either to study calmly or I will take them to their room without phones or any other device, finish your homework and stay the whole time there till tomorrow except dinner."

I blinked my eyes, I take my words back but they deserve it anyway.

" Then I think they have chosen peace!"

" Yeah, Dest liked her shirt more that way even asked Peter to sign it and Peter said that he was making bullshit he should start doing the homework again." She laughed

I laughed at their responses. " Well, you worked magic!"

" Yep, no phone always works magic."

I nodded

" So any bad behavior to make me take your phone away?"

" None today mumma."

" So you did in another day?"

" Maybe." I said sheepishly then again leaned on her shoulder

" Maybe means yes to me." She laughed and kissed my forehead

" C'mon mumma, let's just focus on the show!"

Time skip™

" Lucas!" Peter walked to the living room.

He was frowning

" Yes Peter?" I asked raising my brow

" You are back but you didn't bother yourself to greet me? That's really mean anyway, mom, I am hungry."

" Go check Elene."

" Okay." He walked to the kitchen

He came back with a bowl and I made him sit by me. " You were studying that's why I didn't come."

He just side looked at me and devoured his sandwich.

I poked his head. " C'mon always so hard to get, huh?"

He shrugged his shoulders, eating his sandwich.

I picked him up to sit on my lap. " Just keep eating like a hungry squirrel! Ignoring your brother can cause tickles, baby bro."

" Let go." He said and sat back on the couch," Dare touch me, I will kick your kids."

" Just finish your sandwich, we will take care of this threat too."

He stood up and went to sit away, sending me glares. He finished eating and it was my cue to get my brother. I walked to him nicely and approached him with clear intentions of tickling him up.

He quickly threw on me the cushions were setting besides him and ran out of the living room

" Mom, tell him to leave me." He yelled

I ran beside him. " Not today baby!" I yelled as he ran around the stairs while I was after him

" Someone can't sleep in this house? You missed my belt, huh?" We heard Marc's voice

He was home? Why mom didn't warn me already!

We both stopped on our tracks.

" Ohh it's both of you?" He chuckled evilly

We shook our head as no, now forming a team together as we ran back to the living room to sit beside mom. We shared those knowing look of 'that's scary' together.

" Sierra, are they there?" Marc asked from upstairs, not bothering himself to come down
