IT WAS NOW NIGHTTIME, Levi, El, and Five were in the living room. El was watching something on the t.v while Twelve was playing with Ben and Lucy, which was the teddy bear that Five found while cleaning. Five was sitting on the couch next to Eleven reading a book, glancing at the clock on the wall.

Five sighed, setting the book in his lap, rubbing his eyes glancing at the watch seeing the time. He looked towards Levi as the blue-eyed boy talked to mid-air, still weirded out that Levi could talk to his dead best friend who was just chilling around without a care in the world.

Eleven and Five looked at each other as the radio went off, signaling Hopper was trying to communicate.

Eleven ran towards the radio, listening to the beeps, looking at the paper above it that was the alphabet in Morse code.

dot, dash, dot, dot

"L"

dot, dash

"A"

dash

"T"

dot

"E"

"Late." Five mumbled, glaring, his arms crossed as he walks up to stand next to the girl.

El glared at the radio, turning it off completely. Five put a hand on the girl's shoulder, squeezing, knowing the girl was hiding her anger. The two share a look though and both turned to Levi who was playing and talking to the empty space next to him, oblivious to what was happening.

They both hated it when Hopper was late, especially when he promised he would be over. They both take it hard, but Levi takes it hardest.

He's the most insecure out of the three. El and Five understand that Jim has work and a life. Twelve, on the other hand, gets insecure and thinks Jim is being late on purpose because the older man doesn't like him, or thinks he's annoying and regrets taking him in. Which is absurd because it's quite the opposite.

El nods before walking back to the couch, turning the Michael Myers movie on as Five crouched beside Levi, smiling tightly, with a solemn look on his face.

"Hey, T…" Five said softly, Levi looked at the boy with concern filled eyes.

"Hmm?"

Five put a hand on Levi's back, rubbing it slightly. "Want to watch Michael?"

Twelve furrowed his brows, looking around the cabin, before turning back to Five. "Hop?"

Five clenched his jaw, smiling sadly. "No, buddy. Not today."

Twelve felt his heart clench, looking down with a frown, staring blankly into space as thoughts flooded his mind. "T? Lev? You okay?"

Levi flinched when he heard 'Lev' fall from the green-eyed boy's lips, remembering Dustin only called him that. Twelve snapped out of thought, turning to Six as the ghost spoke.

"You're okay. Don't get too worked up, okay? I'm right here, breathe. We don't want to repeat last time do we?" Six told the young boy, referring to the one time Twelve lied awake while everyone was asleep, thinking and letting his thoughts take over, leading to a panic attack with only Six to comfort him.

"Twelve?" Five shook the boy's shoulder, trying to snap the boy out of his trance.

Levi turned to Five, "I'm fine." he forced a smile.

Five swallowed hard, trying not to let his heart break at the crack of emotion in Levi's voice. Five sighed, grabbing the boy's hands pulling him off the ground, putting Ben and Lucy in the boy's arms before the two sat next to El with Twelve in the middle as Eleven started the movie.

Eleven and Five share a smile as the theme song starts causing Levi to dance weirdly, glad that he wasn't letting the thoughts get to him this time.

Halfway through the movie, Eleven jumps at some part of the movie causing Five to turn to her chuckling in amusement. Eleven rolled her eyes at the boy, cracking a smile. El’s eyes flicker to the boy in the middle, giggling as she sees Levi cuddled into the throw blanket, sleeping, the plushies against his chest, and his body moving slightly to the side.

Five made a weird sound as he felt a sudden weight on the side of his body the sound causing El to cover her growing laughter while Five rolled his eyes.

Suddenly Eleven stops laughing as they both heard familiar knocking.

Eleven glared at the door, knowing who was on the other side. Sharing a look with Five she sighed sadly.

“Hey. Open up, all right? Look, I know I’m late. I got candy here, all right? I got all the good stuff. We could still watch Michael if you just open the door.” The two heard Hopper’s voice, full of regret. “Please, will you open the door? I’m gonna freeze to death out here.”

El nods as Five gestured to Twelve. Five slowly stood, carefully pulling Levi up, thanking whoever’s out there the boy was a heavy sleeper. Five teleported to their room, lightly setting Levi on his bed, tucking the boy in and making sure to cover the plushie’s in blankets.

Five teleported back into the living room, seeing Hopper on the couch and the t.v gone, probably taken by Eleven who has been checking up on Mike.

Hopper slightly jumped, seeing the boy suddenly appear. Five plopped down on the couch beside Hopper, grabbing the discarded book he stopped reading earlier and he opened it reading where he left off.

Five glanced up, seeing Hopper eating candy from a pumpkin bucket. “You’re gonna get fat.” Five stated in a monotone voice before going back to reading.

“Halfway there,” Hopper mumbled, glancing at Five as the boy smirked slightly in amusement.

Five put the book down in his lap, holding his hand out, raising his brows. Hopper rolled his eyes, giving the bucket to the boy as he picked out a Reese's, unwrapping it and popping it in his mouth.

“How bad was it?” Hopper leaned back, closing his eyes.

“El? Surprisingly didn’t show her anger...too much.” Five shared a chuckle with the man. “Levi? He was sad which is normal when you don't get home on time."

Hopper nods along with the boy's words, after a moment of silence he breaks it. "What about you?"

"Huh?"

"How'd you feel?"

Five stared into the man's eyes, blinked dumbfounded, not used to the question ‘I'm fine.”

Hopper raised an eyebrow as Five looked down at his lap clenching his jaw, before slowly saying. "I don't know exactly. I never really know what I'm feeling."

Hopper looked at them with a soft understanding expression. "You need to stop worrying about how they feel all the time and worry about you, kid."

Five sighed, tapping the book in his lap three times, a habit he picked up from Levi. "It...takes too much time to understand what my feelings mean."

"What do you feel most of the time?"

"Protective-- I need to keep Twelve and Eleven safe. It's my job."

Hopper shook his head, before asking. "What else?"

Five thought for a bit, frowning when it was hard to find an actual feeling other than protectiveness.

"I don't know."

"Are you sure?"

Five thought harder, glaring into space. Flashes of the lab, the Demogorgon, and the upside-down, pop up in his head clear as day on repeat.

"I don't know...fear?"

A/N) My guys, gals and non binary pals! I'm might be making a Michael Myers fic ehehe.
a few things before reading it though.

It might come in October or November.
The main character is played by Sadie Sink.
and its a platonic story, because her character is gay, yay!

It follows Max Merlin in high school and she eventually meets Michael and they become like friends...?

So I'll be posting the casting and playlist soon if any of you guys might be interested, probably not but whatever.

I love you!!💕
