IT WAS NOW A FEW HOURS LATER AFTER FINDING THE BODY OF WILL BYERS, and Levi was sitting in the fort, Ben and Klaus on his lap watching sadly as Mike flips through drawings Will made him on the couch in the basement, listening to the crackling of static from the radio El was fiddling with, trying hard to find Will because she knew he was still alive, she could feel it and so could Levi he just hadn't mentioned it.

"Can you please stop that?" Mike asked, looking away from the papers in his hand to look at the girl getting annoyed with the crackling.

El looked up at the boy, turning off the radio, handing it to Twelve who looks at her confused. "Try. Please."

Levi sighed, taking the radio out of her hands, the girl touched the boy's shoulder, trying to help the boy by merging their powers together, knowing she couldn't get it herself even if she were powerful.

The radio crackles again, causing Mike to glare at the two, "Are you deaf?"

The two don't look up or respond as El closed her eyes and Levi's eyes flashed white, but Mike didn't notice in his fit of rage.

"I thought we were friends, you know? But friends tell each other the truth. And they definitely don't lie to each other."

Twelve looked up at the words friend, flinching remembering what he heard on the radio and he and El don't say anything but take the rage from what they believe is their first friend who wasn't from the lab.

"You made me think Will was okay, that he was still out there, but he wasn't. He wasn't! Maybe you thought you were helping, but you weren't. You hurt me. Do you understand? What you did sucks."

Twelve looked down frowning, feeling tears well up in his eyes. What did he do? He didn't even know where they were going? How was he supposed to know Will was dead? Why was Mike blaming him too?

Levi's brows furrowed in concentration, glaring down at the radio in his hands, trying to focus on the power El was radiating, but he couldn't help but whimper at Mike's next words.

"Lucas was right about you two. All along."

Twelve clenched his jaw, glancing at El with a nod and they both squeezed their eyes tightly as Levi fiddled with the knobs on the radio, both sighing in relief when they hear a voice.

Will's voice.

"So come on and let me know. Should I stay or should I go?"

Levi and El watched Mike look at them with wide eyes, both of them feeling the trickling of blood from their noses.

"Should I stay or should I go now?" Will's weak voice sang over the radio.

Mike threw the papers on the couch, running over to Levi and El, dropping down to his knees as they continued to listen to the boy sing, and Twelve lifted the radio so Mike could grab it.

Mike looked at the two in shock as Will still sang, not knowing the three were listening.

Mike grabbed the radio from Levi's hands, "Will, is that you? It's Mike! Do you copy? Over." Mike frantically said, but he didn't get a response, "Will, are you there?" All that was heard was the static of white noise.

Twelve could feel himself grow dizzy, knowing he used too much of his and El's powers.

"Was that...Was it..." He heard Mike stutter.

"Will." He heard El state before everything went black.

Mike looked at the boy with wide eyes as Levi just fell back passing out. "Levi? Twelve!? You okay?"

Eleven put a hand on Mike's shoulder, looking down at Levi. "He's okay. Just tired."

Mike sighed in relief, before helping El lie Twelve down properly, El makes sure to put Ben and Klaus on a pillow and cover them with an extra blanket, before Mike goes upstairs to go to sleep, leaving El with Twelve.

El sat beside Twelve, looking down at him, reaching out to push some of his messy curls away from his face with a soft smile. She turned to look at Ben, smiling.

"Soon..."

It was morning at the Wheeler house, Dustin, Lucas, Mike, El, and Levi were sat in a circle, obviously, Twelve had his plushies sitting on the ground in between him and Dustin as El fiddled with the radio.

The sound of the radio frequencies tuning was all they could hear, before hearing an indistinct whimper echo from the radio.

"We keep losing the signal, but you heard it right?" Mike asked, looking at Lucas and Dustin.

Lucas shook his head, raising an eyebrow. "Yeah, I heard a baby."

Mike scoffed, narrowing his eyes. "What?"

"Mike, you obviously tapped into a baby monitor. It's probably the Blackburns' next door."

"Uh...did that sound like a baby to you? That was Will!" Mike exclaimed.

"Mike..."

"Lucas, you don't understand. He spoke last night. Words! He was singing that weird song he loves, Even El and Levi heard him!"

Lucas huffed. "Oh, well, if the weirdos heard him then I guess--"

"Are you sure you're on the right channel?" Dustin cut the boy off, trying to cool down the argument.

"I don't think it's about that. I think, somehow, they're channeling him." Mike stated.

"Like...like Professor X." Dustin's eyes widened, while Mike mumbled a 'yeah' But Twelve looked at Dustin confused, Dustin turned to him seeing his confused face. "He's in the comic you were looking at."

Once hearing this, Twelve nodded smiling, but his smile dropped when he looked towards Lucas.

"Are you actually believing this crap?"

Dustin shrugged, "I don't know, I mean...Do you remember when Will fell off his bike and broke his finger? He sounded a lot like that." he said, referring to the whimper they heard.

Lucas glared at them, "Did you guys not see what I saw? They pulled Will's body out of the water. He's dead!"

Mike and Dustin look down sadly as El and Levi share a glance.

"Well, maybe it's his ghost. Maybe he's haunting us." Dustin suggested.

Twelve looked at the boy weirdly, he knew Will's ghost wasn't haunting them, because he had a friend who could talk to and control ghost's and Levi still uses that power, he would know if Will was really dead.

"It's not his ghost." Mike rolled his eyes.

"So how do you know that?" Lucas asked.

"I just do!"

"Then what was in that water?"

"I don't know! All I know is Will is alive. Will is alive! He's out there somewhere. All we have to do is find him." Mike stated, they all turn to look at El as the radio crackles.

"This isn't gonna work. We need to get El and Levi to a stronger radio." Mike sighed.

"Mr. CLarke's Heathkit ham shack," Dustin smirked.

"Yeah."

Lucas looked at the two as if they were insane. "The Heathkits at school. There is no way we're gonna get the weirdos in there without anyone noticing. Levi maybe but Eleven...I mean...look at her."

Levi and El look up at them confused, as the boys stare at them intently.

Dustin leads Levi upstairs after Mike told him to find Twelve something to wear and Mike and El go to Nancy's room and Mike does her makeup.

Dustin opens the closet and Levi stands behind him looking in there. Dustin pulls out some black jeans throwing them at Twelve who fumbles to catch them, "Put that on and I'll look for a shirt."

Levi glanced at the boy, turning around and taking off his sweats and hurriedly pulling on the jeans, turning around just as Dustin pulls out a black long sleeve shirt, handing it to Levi who just changes right there as Dustin pays no mind.

"Wear the shoes we gave you yesterday okay?" Dustin raised his eyebrow, chuckling while helping Twelve pull the shirt down as he gets stuck.

Levi nodded, and the two sneak downstairs into the basement. Levi puts the shoes on his clothed feet, before looking around when he doesn't see Dustin.

"Dustin?" he called out cautiously, looking around the basement.

"Over here!" he heard Dustin exclaim, Levi follows the voice turning under the stairs, seeing Lucas and Dustin grabbing boxes.

"We have to find something for El to wear, okay?" Dustin said softly, handing Levi a box to look through.

Levi glanced at the box and started to open it, looking through it ignoring Lucas and Dustin who were messing around with the costumes.

Levi catches sight of something pink and picks it up unfolding it seeing it was a dress with a white-collar. Levi turned, smiling widely when he sees Dustin wearing a blonde wig on his head.

"This?" Levi asked, both the boys turn to him, nodding.

"Yeah, let go!" Dustin said, grabbing Levi's arm pulling him up the stairs as Lucas follows behind looking at Dustin confused and slightly amused.

Once they get upstairs, they bump into Mike and Eleven who walked out of Nancy's room.

"Here you go," Lucas said, grabbing the wig and dress from the boys next to him giving them to El who walked back into Nancy's room, nodding.

Twelve looked down, realizing he didn't have Klaus and Ben with him, and he tried to sneak away from the boys.

"Where are you going?" Mike questioned, looking at the boy concerned.

"I'll be back. Promise." Levi smiled, walking down the stairs and going down to the basement grabbing the plushies quickly before looking at the jean jacket he remembered Benny gave him and Levi hurriedly put on the oversized jacket, running back upstairs with the plushies in his hands, seeing the three boys talking while waiting for El.

The boys all turn as they hear the door open, and Twelve smiles when Eleven walks out looking up at them shyly in her pink dress and wig.

"Wow...she looks--"

"Pretty." Mike cut Dustin off, Dustin and Lucas look at Mike amused as Levi narrows his eyes at the boy, feeling protective of the girl."Good. Pretty good." Mike corrected.

Eleven sighed, walking over to the mirror hanging on the hall wall. Twelve ignores what's happening and turns to Dustin.

"Take them?" Levi whispered to Dustin, gesturing to the plushies in his arms.

Dustin smiled at the boy, "Follow me."

Levi furrowed his brows but followed the boy as he walks in Mike's room again, going to the closet, grabbing the extra backpack Mike has for some reason.

Dustin turned back to Levi, going to take the stuffed animals in the boy's hand but stopped just as he was about to touch them. "Can I...?"

Levi nods, silently thanking the boy for asking. Dustin grabs them and puts them in the bag, "I'm sorry, but you'll have to put them all the way in this time, Levi."

Twelve looked at the boy confused, tilting his head to the side like a puppy. "Why?"

Dustin sighed, looking down sadly and zipping the bag up, helping Levi put the backpack on. "Some kids could be mean. And they'll make fun of you. I don't--I mean you don't want that."

Levi exhaled, nodding. "I understand. Thank you."

"You're welcome."
