Eric led me to a large garden where it was outlined with flowers and bushes all cut to size of a cube, the grass long enough to go in between your toes, apple trees plotted about and a gate at the end. We walked closer to the gate where we walked past it and there was a large and surprising field of plain grass.

"This is where we test powers for immortals. It gives them space at it gives them time...some even say comfort."

"It's beautiful." I looked around in awe.

"Now, Y/N you might have a power because you're half and half — and only vampires get powers — which means there is only a 20% chance of you having a power."

"Not much of a chance then..." he shook his head.

"Let's get started then shall we?" He clapped his hands before rubbing them together. "Let's test if you have the most common one...mind reading."

"Okay."

"Now which each and every one of these that you test, you have to put every ounce of concentration into it, okay?"

"Got it."

"Once you've been able to do it once, you'll be able to have full control of it straight away. Now because this is mind reading you have to put all your focus into the opposite persons head. Try and figure out what they're thinking. Transfer all of your energy into that person."

As he was speaking, I was focusing on him and what he could be thinking. My body started to heat up and I started to go dizzy.

"You alright Y/N? You look really pale." Eric stepped closer to me.

Black. Black was all I could see as I felt my body crush against the ground and Eric calling for help. "Baby? Angel are you okay?" Jungkook's voice was heard as another pair of hands started to shake my limp and pale body. Feeling my eyes roll to the back of my head in tiredness, my whole body started to turn numb but I could feel the pins an needles forming in each one of my muscles.

"Y/N!?" Eric shook my body vigorously and my eyes snapped up to him. "Are you okay? You seemed like you zoned out for a little.

"Where's Jungkook?" I quietly mumbled as I slowly looked around to find him no where.

"What do you mean? He did come here he's still with my parents..?"

"But...it felt so real..."

"What did you see?" He led me other to a bench that I didn't know was there.

"I didn't see anything but I felt my body falling to the ground and then you called for help so Jungkook came over and started shaking me..." I leaned forward and held my head in my hands.

"Y/N...I think you can see the future..." my head snapped up to him in disbelief.

"What..."

"Yeah, you saw the future that you were going to faint and it warned you of what would've happened if you didn't sit down and rest for a few minutes."

"Oh..."

"But I'm sad to say that, we still have to test some more." I immediately groaned and he forced a smile. "Sorry."

"It's fine, let's just get it over with."

"Okay there's two more I want to try for."

"Ugh, but we've done like 200 already!" I slumped onto the grass.

"...159 actually—but anyway," he quickly changed the subject once I glared at him. "these two are pretty easy? It's not as hard as the first one."

I just nodded. "Whatever let's do it." I grabbed his hand that he lent out to me and stood up.

"Now this one is one that neither of us will like if you do have this power and it's the pain power. You just have to try and inflict pain onto me while thinking about the most unbearable pain you can think of, and when you do, just say the word "pain", okay?"

"Are you sure you want me to do it on you Eric? Not a body guard or anything?"

He shook his head. "It's fine, trust me Y/N."

I sighed as he took a few steps away from me. I though of a type of pain: heartbreak, but then I added another which was mental pain...and also a physical type of pain. I focused my energy and the feeling of pain on his leg. The feeling of the imagery pain was starting to inflict its self onto me the more I held it in and it felt like a volcano brewing.

"Pain—"

"Ark!!" Eric fell to the ground while clutching his leg and his stomach and tears started to quiver on the edge of his eyes.

My once intense gaze softened and he sighed in relief as the pain stopped.

"I'm sorry!" I ran over and kneeled next to him. "I'm really sorry Eric..." I helped him ease the pain in his leg as I rubbed it.

"It's fine Y/N...let's just do one last test and then you can go back."

"Are you sure?!" I shouted as he started to get up off the floor and I started to worry.

"100%, and you're already a rare type of immortal because you have two powers and the average is 0-1 powers. Plus...I need to do this one to be certain of something."

"Okay..? What's this one then?" He stood up perfectly fine before shaking his leg for a second and looking up to me.

"I actually need Jungkook to come for this one so I mind linked a guard to bring him."

"Oh alright..."

We stood in silence for a few seconds before I started to find it awkward so I spoke up and asked a question.

"Hey Eric...what powers do you have if you have any?"

"I do actually, I have two. Electricity and Mental shield."

"Ohhh, that sounds cool!" My eyes lit up at his amazing powers.

"Hey!" Jungkook came jogging over.

"Hey Jungkook, you ready?" Eric asked and he nodded.

"So what's this power that I'm being tested for?"

"It's the Mental shield." Jungkook looked at him shocked and confused but Eric just ignored him. "I'm going to use my electricity power to electrocute Jungkook and you have to make sure that he feels nothing."

"How?" I asked nervously as I started to twist the skin on my fingers.

"Imagine a colour and imagine that colour as a blanket that's expanding from your body to that person you're focusing on — like a safety blanket."

I slowly nodded. "Alright...I'm sorry if it hurts baby."

"It's okay angel, I can take it."

"Sure, we'll see." Eric smirked. "Don't worry Y/N, I won't go too hard on him."

Eric quickly raised his hand and you could see the pang of electricity flow through his hand and connect at the tips of his fingers as it neared to Jungkook's bare arm that he'd stuck out for him.

"W-Wait, I'm not rea—!!!"

"—ARGHH!"

Eric's hand had came in contact with Jungkook's arm and he ended up kneeling on the ground in agony and holding his right arm.

"ERIC!!" I growled at him.

"She's not motivated enough..." the Queen speaks up a few meters from behind me as Jungkook stood up and widened his eyes for a few seconds. "Amp it up a bit darling."

"As you wish." More strokes of electricity flew through his hand and up his arm and he glanced at me.

A thick white blanket. I fix my eyes onto Jungkook and the word protect comes to mind as I know he'll be in pain in a few seconds. Stretching the blanket out in front of me, I visualise it stretching the few meters in front of me and engulfing Jungkook's body just as Eric's hand came in contact with Jungkook's arm. My eyes focus on Jungkook at all times as he didn't even flinch when Eric touched him but instead smiled at me who had every ounce of concentration on him.

"You did it..." I heard Eric and his parents say simultaneously in a whisper.

"What?" I asked as I glanced down to Jungkook's arm to make sure that he's no longer being touched before bringing in the blanket of safety.

"Baby..." Jungkook came closer and took my face in his hands and pecked my lips gently.

"Y/N..."

"Mhm?" I pulled away from Jungkook. "What is it?" I looked at the three royals in confusion when they all engulfed me into a group hug while pushing Jungkook out of the way.

"You're here...it's really you." The King caressed the back of my head.

"H-Huh?" I looked at them confused.

"We'll talk about it inside sweetie, let's get you some water you must be tired from all the tests." The Queen spoke with tears in her eyes and they all ushered me inside and Jungkook followed from behind with Eric who was also tearing up.

Jungkook's PoV

"Hey...why are the three of you on the verge of tears?" I asked Eric softly.

"Y/N is my sister."
