Y/N PoV

"Y/N come down for breakfast!" My brother Yeonjun shouted from downstairs.

"Hmm~" I groaned as I hugged my pillow tighter as I heard stomps coming up the stairs.

"Y/N! Get your ass up!" Yeonjun whipped my duvet off of my body making me hunch my body around the pillow I still hand in my grip. "Come on~ you're going to be late for college Y/N!" He pulled the pillow from my arms but I stayed still.

"YAH!" I slapped his chest when he picked me up bridal style and carried me to the bathroom.

"Get dressed lazy." He ruffled my already messy hair before shutting the bathroom door on his way out.

I quickly undressed myself still half asleep and got into the shower and started to scrub away.

I blow dried my hair and left it down to it's resting against the middle of my back and grabbed my phone and put it in my jumper pocket at the front as I walked down the stairs.

"Morning Y/N." Dad smiled at me while sipping on his coffee and watching the news.

"Morning dad." I also passed him a smile "Morning mom, morning Yeonjun." I walked past them and into the kitchen to make some cereal.

"Morning hun."

"Morning lazy bum."

"Yeonjun you might want to leave for work now or else you'll be late." Mom piped as she checked the time— Yeonjun is a doctor.

"Oh right!" He scoffed the last bit of toast in his mouth before coming over to me who was pouring in the milk and kissed my cheek and mumbled "bye" before doing the same to mom and dad.

When he walked out of the house, I sat down at the dining table and started eating.

Listening to music as I walked in the pathway on my way to school, I had an anxious feeling in my gut as people either walked passed me or glanced at me as they looked around to check if it was safe to cross the road.

I never was really comfortable around people. People kind of...scared me. It would get to the point where I would have to step out of lessons, have a panic attack, or even get so overwhelmed with the amount of people there are and would start to cry without moving a muscle in my face.

There was one time that I had unknowingly cried in my art class while I was painting and the teacher had come up to me concerned and I was confused until she told me that I was crying. She told me to take a minute and to step outside of the class to recompose myself and I deeply respect her for that.

As I turned up to the school, I put my earphones and phone into my little bag and walked to my first lesson with my head tilted to the floor. I took my seat on a wooden stool that had a cushion sewn into it and set up my station.

"Hello Y/N, early as always I see." Miss Lang smiled at me as she sat at her messy table full of art papers and materials and shoved her laptop onto it making a few things fall off.

"H-Hello Miss L-Lang." I shyly smiled to her.

"Do you want to know what we'll be doing today?" She asked and I slowly nodded my head. "We're going to be painting animals but in a special way. You'll be getting a key word or words from a jar and you have to paint the first thing that pops into your head. How's that sound?"

"It soun-ds g-good." I nodded.

Just then, the bell rang which made me flinch and other students came piling in. Miss Lang just repeated what she said to me to the other students and they all seemed happy about it. Miss Lang went to a few people with the jar full of words before coming over to me, I dipped my hand in the glass pot and fiddled my fingers a little bit before they grabbed onto a certain one and I pulled my hand out.

I opened it as she walked away to another person and they did the same. I looked down at my hands at the open bit of paper and it read:

Moon Goddess

And then my mind clicked. I quickly grabbed a piece of paper and did a quick little sketch of it before it pops out of my mind and once I finished with that, I got up and grabbed a canvas and started painting away.

I kept to myself as I put my full concentration into the painting. Miss Lang was making rounds of the class to make sure that there were on topic and went back to her desk after checking our work, including mine.

//

Miss Lang did rounds again as we were packing our materials away and she looked stunned at all of them.

"Oh my god! Y/N!" She whisper yelled at me with a smile— she knew I hated attention "this is amazing!" She praised and I felt my ears turn red.

"T-Thank you." I slightly bowed to her.

I tuck the paper with the key words on it at the top right hand corner "I'm very impressed Y/N, well done." She patted my shoulder before walking back to her desk.

I looked back at my painting and a slight shy smile tugged at my lips before I walked out.

"Hey gumdrop!" Chan slung his arm around my shoulders and pulled me to his chest, stopping me from walking out the cafeteria.

"Hey Chan." I hugged him back with my face stuffed into his chest.

"What have you got for lunch today?" He asked pulling away and taking my tiny hands in his large ones and looked down to see that I held a small carton of chocolate milk and a chocolate bar. "Y/N you need to eat more, no wonder why you're so small and tiny!" He whined and took little steps to me and hugged me gently again as I just stared up at him with big eyes. "Come on gumdrop, I'll buy you some more food."

"Chan, I'm not hungry!" I whined as he dragged me to the line to get food.

"Tough. I'm buying you food, end of discussion." He back hugged me and I playfully huffed out a sigh.

"H-Hello Mrs Ch-Cha." I bowed to the librarian as I walked into the silent library.

"Hello dear, the usual room?" She whispered and I nodded.

I'm a regular at the library here and she knows me very well but I'm not 100% comfortable around her although she is a very sweet frail woman. She handed me the key to my usual room and I took it with a head bow making her smile at my politeness and I took off to the room.

I slid the key into the lock and twisted it making a click noise be heard throughout the entire library and I gently pushed open the door and closed it behind me and also locking it so nobody can disturb me.

The room was circular, medium sized and tall as when you look up, the ceiling seems twenty foot tall. It had only one large circular table with eight comfortable chairs neatly tucked in with a charging port in the middle of it. The walls weren't walls, they were shelves filled to the brim with books— brown books, new books, old books, large books, small books— you name it.

I sat at one of the seats around the circular table that has eight chairs and took my phone out of my small bag to text mom.

Me: Hi mom, I'm at the library again
so I'll be quite late to get back home for dinner but don't worry, I'll come
back before dark, love you xx

Mom: Okay hun be careful, love you to xx

I left my phone on the table and got up to scan through the shelves in which book I wanted to read today. I paced slowly through the room as my eyes racked through each spine of book when my eyes landed on one.

The fiction of fiction.

I hadn't seen that one before and it looked very clean so I'm guessing it's one of the new books that Mrs Cha had gotten in. My index finger slid down the spine of the book carefully as I felt the indented letters on the material of the book before I slid it out of the shelf and landed it into my hands. I sat down on my seat and opened the book to the first page.

As I read through the book, the smell of fresh pages filed the rooms' air as I started to get quite bored of the book and feel sleepy. I closed the book and stood up again to put it in its rightful place and just as I did, I spotted a book that I have also never seen before— not even when my gaze was piercing through each book.

I continued to put the book into the shelf before walking over to the book that seems to be calling for me and read the spine of the book.

The Calling Of The Luna.

Curiosity filled my blood as I bit my lower lip and pulled the book out excitedly, but it...it seemed stuck. I pulled it again but a bit harsher than before and that's when the room formed into a different structure.

The wall next to me slid open to the side with a small rumble and I just watched with wide eyes. Once the door stopped moving, I looked through it but it seemed to be mirror-like, my reflection was the only thing seen. Not the books behind me, not the table. Just me. Then the reflection of me blurred and the whole thing turned a turquoise colour before it displayed a part of a forest, I stepped closer to take a closer look as my fingers fiddled with my skirt.

I raised my hand up to the image of the outside world and I could feel a breeze come through it which made my skirt sway to the side a little and I was so confused. I turned around and grabbed my phone— and without hesitation— I walked through the wall with eyes shut tightly and heard the wall behind me close by itself.
