-Are you not going to meet me tae?

I heard the annoying yet sweet voice and when we turned I saw none other than Jennie Kim. I closed my eyes and tried to calm myself. I took deep breath when I heard her high heels clicking on the floor making more everything silent for me. She took Taehyung's hand from mine and hugged him. He hugged her back as she kissed his cheek.

- How are you tae?

She asked. He just nodded.

- I'm fine. How are you?

He asked and she gave him a grin. Later, they both got busy in their own conversation. Of course, they both finished their first years so now they both will start their work and training for their respective companies. 

I suddenly felt left out.

-Noona? Can you come here?

I heard the voice and I turned around to see Taehyun. I nodded and turned once again to look at Taehyung and saw him talking with Jennie and some other men. I sighed as I started walking to taehyun.

- Hey. What do you want?

I asked and he looked at me.

- Oh well, there's someone who asked me for you.

He said and I frowned.

Someone who asked for me?

- Who?

I asked and he shrugged.

- I don't know maybe hyung's friend.

He said and I nodded. I was going to look for the man when Nayeon came and caught my wrist.

- Miso-ah, go and change. The party will start soon.

She said and I nodded. The engagement party was today. I looked around the room to find Taehyung and he still was busy with them. I sighed and made my way to the room.

I picked a V line spaghetti thin line blue sparkle dress with a slit. I did little makeup, and put my hair in a low pony. I nodded at my reflection in the mirror. I looked at the time and didn't realise that it's been an hour.

Woah I never get so late for getting ready.

I heard the door open and Taehyung came in. His one hand in his trousers pocket. As he was busy in his phone whistling. I cleared my throat.

- go and get ready fast we need to leave early.

I said as he nodded his head without looking at me.

Aishh why isn't he looking at me? I got ready for him.

I thought and pouted. He came near my seat and took the towel which was beside me as I turned my head at him and he finally looked at me.

His eyes went a little wide but he recovered it quickly. I could see his adam's apple going up and down as his eyes travelled from my face to my dress to my chest. He cleared his throat again.

- U-uh i-ill just g-go and b-bath.

He said stammering as he rushed to the bathroom and while on his way he almost tripped. I giggled at his reaction.

Cute.

After him taking a bath he changed into a black suit in which the first three buttons were undone and he let his hair fall on his forehead leaving him look like a hot mess.

I was gawking at him just like he did.

This asshole is taking revenge.

I thought. To distract myself I took my phone and texted my mom.

Momma 🌍:

I miss you mom. I have passed my year. I will send you the results.

I typed and sent it to her.

- Shall we leave?

I heard the males voice and I looked up he was close to me looking at me while wearing a watch. I gulped and nodded frantically. He lend his hand to me as I took it and he pulled me.

- You look so hot Ms.lee

He whispered as he kissed me and bopped my nose with his 

- You look good too Mr. Kim.

I said as we chuckled and he kissed me again. Oh god I can never get enough of him. I separated first.

- we are gonna be late. You're the brother you need to be there first.

I scolded him and he made a crying face as he followed me.

We entered the venue. It looked lavish and so royal. I kept my hand in Taehyung's as he lead me. There were many people here. I saw Nayeon and her groom in the middle. They both looked so good together. I smiled at them. Nayeon wore a peach cream long dress with v line which was strapless.

We walked towards them and greeted them and I hugged her. After some time Taehyung got busy with people again so I was sitting at the bar having a coke. I sighed.

This is so boring.

- cupcake?

I heard the familiar voice and I turned to look at the owner of the voice. I turned around and saw Jinyoung..

Oh my god.

I widen my eyes as I kept my hands on my mouth.

- oh my god. Muffin.

I said and ran towards him and hugged him tight as he laughed and hugged me back too.

- It's been a year. Why didn't you speak to me?

He asked and I smiled apologising .

- I'm really sorry. A lot had been going on and I just never got time and the studies were also there and also so much was going on in my life and-

I was saying when he cut me off.

- woah woah woah bro calm down. I understand I was just teasing you.

He said and I smacked his arm. As we both laughed and were catching up with each other's stories when I heard someone clearing their throat.

- Who is this darling?

Taehyung asked as he crept his hand on my waist. I looked up at him.

- oh remember I moved to states when... uh yeah so when I moved to states I met him and he was my only best friend.

I said and was interrupted.

- Excuse me? But I still am cupcake

He said and I grinned at him and nodded.

- So his name is Jinyoung and muffin he is Taehyung.

I said and they both shook hands.

- Taehyung. Kim Taehyung, her boyfriend.

He said as Jinyoung's eyes went wide.

- woahhh cupcake you got yourself a boyfriend? Finally someone to love your dumbass other than me.

He said and I squinted my eyes and glared at him.

- I dare you to say that again hoe.

I said and he raised his hands surrendering.

- Well who invited you? Because as long as I remember I don't think our family know anyone like you.

He said and I pinched his arm. He is using sarcastic language and I clearly don't have an idea why.

- Oh well relax Kim I assure you even we didn't know you guys until lucas said me about you.

Jinyoung replied. Taehyung may be the sarcastic king but don't underestimate Jinyoung.

- I am from the grooms side.

He made known as he smiled at me. 

- Oh I am from the brides side. Taehyung is Nayeon's own brother.

I said and he nodded.

- cool I am Lucas step brother.

He said sipping on his drink.

- Let's go for the ceremony kitten, we don't want to be late.

He said and I nodded standing up and suddenly Jinyoung spit the drink laughing.

- Wow what a great nickname you gave your girlfriend. Kitten.

He said laughing and I could not help but laugh too.

- Oh well what a great name you gave to your friend cupcake.

Taehyung said and Jin young took a sip again and shook his head.

- you would regret your words after knowing the story behind it.

He said and Taehyung was going to sit on the chair.

- well I would love to.

He was saying when I grabbed his arm and pulled him.

- We don't want to be late do we? Let's go.

I said as we walked towards the crowd again I turned back and mouthed 'idiot' at him and he laughed.
