"Have you ever had a crush on your best friend?"

My heart is literally about to pop out of my chest. This is not how I want to confess my feelings to Lucas.

I clench my jaw in anger and frustration, trying to keep my cool.

Whatever happens, happens.

With hesitation, I close my eyes and finally answer, "Yes," earning a few gasps here and there around the circle.

I open my eyes and look at Lucas to see his reaction. He looks at me, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion. I'm too nervous to look at him any longer so I turn to Corbin with a glint of determination in my eyes.

Corbin stare back at me, arching his eyebrow which screams 'what are you going to do about it?'

He started this.

"Corbin, truth or dare?" I asks. Judging by his narrowed eyes and smirk, he must be curious as to what I'm going to do next.

"Truth."

That's right. Fall into my trap.

A mischievous smirk make its way to my face. Payback, bitch.

"What happened to the girl you got pregnant?" I asks. His face suddenly turn cold and his shoulder tense. He clench his jaw tight. My eyes trail down to see his tight closed fist causing his knuckles to turn white. I wish I could replay this moment over and over again. It's so satisfying to see him get a taste of his own medicine.

There was a rumor a year ago about Corbin making a senior girl pregnant so she dropped out of school and was never heard from again. I've always wondered what happened to her. I imagined something along the lines of Corbin paying her to get out of his life. With someone like Corbin, anything is possible.

I can hear a few chattering and whispering here and there around the group about my question but I ignored them and focus on Corbin.

It's like something clicked inside him because his cold expression suddenly turn into a victorious smirk like he knows something that I don't. I'm caught off guard by his expression as I just continue to stare at him in confusion.

"I never got a girl pregnant," Corbin says without hesitation as a wide grin makes its way to his face.

"What?" was the shock response from a few people in the circle.

"The rule is to tell the truth. You can't lie," I tell him. He has to tell the truth. I did. He needs to admit it.

Corbin smirk knowing he's won. I really want to smack that smirk out of his face and into another universe. I hate him.

"I know how the game works, Hazel. I am telling the truth."

He's got to be lying. Last year, everyone saw the girl walking up to Corbin in the hallway to talk to him. When they were done, she was crying and sobbing.

"You got her pregnant and paid her to get an abortion, didn't you?" I push. I'm furious right now. He can't win again. He's not getting away this time.

"What's wrong, Hazel? Can't admit that you're wrong?" Corbin teases causing my blood to boil with anger.

Lucas place his hand on my shoulder, trying to calm me down. I had completely forgotten that there's a circle of people here.

"Okay..." Lucas step in. "It's my turn now. Maggie, truth or dare?"

The game continued for a few rounds without anyone asking for Corbin or me. They probably thought it was best for us to calm down a bit.

"Meghan, truth or dare?" One of the boys asks the girl who dared Corbin to kiss her. Now I know her name: Meghan.

"Umm... truth," she answers.

"Have you ever stolen something from a store?" He asks.

"Of course not. I'm a good girl," she answers. I almost snickered at her response but hold it in.

"Corbin," Meghan turn to him. I sigh. Here we go again. "Truth or dare?"

"Dare," Corbin answers. Of course. I roll my eyes at him. Just get a room already.

"I dare you to make out with Hazel."
