Dhruv's point of view

Anxiety,

I have known this word from years. I know the feeling when it hits you. Your geart heat was racing, your breath was uneven and you feels like you are going to die in any minute. You feel suffocated and sweat form in your body like you just had shower.

This is the same I am feeling right now. With a gun in my hand, I was roaming around in MG road finding the love of my life who's life is in danger.

Aditi told me she was hiding inside a building and very scared as rioters are roaming just outside the place where she was hiding. My team and me did not leave any place looking for her and police were doing their best to control the riots.

"She is not here. Let's move to the other building." I came outside the four story building we just look for Aditi. This is the fifth building we have looked into it.

As the time passed my anxiety going to its peak. I can not afford loosing her.  I ran my fingers in my hair while looking around my surroundings. I tried Aditi's number but it was switched off again.

I hope she is fine.

My phone again started ringing nd I picked it up when its from Divya.

"Bhiya, Where is Aditi?" She started shouting on me. I can hear the worry in her voice.

"I am trying to find her." I said while trying to calm my nerve.

"What do you mean you are trying to find her? I don't want to loose my best friend again. Please find her soon." She literally beg me.

"Divya, I am trying my best. Don't forget she is my wife and I can't afford of loosing her." I said while tightening my fist and cut the call as I can not waste my time talking to her.

As I cut the phone and put it back in my pocket we heard the loud noise of bomb blast. Windows glasses broke into pieces and everyone bend down to save themselves. A thin voice of siren was buzzing inside my right ear and everything went blank for a minute. I blinked many times to clear my view and slapped on my right ear to stop that siren.

I looked around and a two lanes away a building was burning with fire. It flames reaches high into the sky.

"Aaadddiiittttiiii....."

I shouted out of my lungs and without wasting any minute I ran towards that building.

Aditi's point of view

Smock was burning my lungs. It's getting difficult to breath. Tears falling down from my eyes both from smoke and fear. I don't know what should I do but if I step out from this place rioters would kill me and don't know what will they do to me.

I am stucking in this small place from more than 6 hours. Rioters were inside this building and looting aal the shops and showrooms while hurting people. People were killed by them and I was giding myself in this store room. I don't know how longer I will be able to hide here. I was just hoping that Dhruv reached here soon.

At morning after finishing my exam I went to one of my classmates house to bring some notes she had borrowed from me. But by the time I leave her house and went to MG road to hire and Auto, riots started and the man was standing in-front of me suddenly bring out his sword and started running behind people hurting them. Public transport were flown into the air when some put it in a fire.

Some of the rioters ran towards me and started throwing stones towards in my direction. Somehow I came inside this building and hide myself here in one of the store.

When the noises stopped, I opened the storeroom door slightly and peack out. To my luck there were no one outside. Without making a noise I came out from the store room and ran outside. Later I came to know that I was hiding in a restaurant which was on the top floor of the building. I was walking towards the stairs looking everywhere. Yes, my heart was racing and I was just wishing that Dhruv could reach here on time.

As I was stepping down from the downstairs I heard noises of men.

"Guys look, there is a girl." Someone shouted pointing towards me.

My eyes widened in fear and goosebumps stood up behind my back. A group of 20 rioters started running towards me. Without wasting a single minute I started climbing back to the stairs but someone pulled my leg and I fall down on the stairs. I was crawled down to the last step of the stairs. My head hit the last step and it started bleeding but with all my power I hit that man in the middle of his leg and ran. 30 rioters were following me from behind with their swards and they were very intend to kill me today.

Hit tears were falling down from my eyes and I was sobbing while running.

Dhruv please come soon.

"Stop running girl. It's going to be your last day." One of the rioters shouted byt I didn't stop and keep running with my full power.

Suddenly we heard the blast and I was thrown into the air. Everything went blank. The ceiling of the thrid floor fall down and everything started burning. I feel hot blood on my right leg. I can't move. Some of the rioters died under the ceiling but some are standing safe and sound on the other side of the floor which was not under the fire. But good thing was they are not aware of my presence.

"Aahhhh...." I shouted in pain when I drag myself from there so that they could not reach me. While crawling I saw a bill counter of garments shop. Somehow I dragged myself behind the bill counter and hid there till help reach me.

"What do you think we didn't see you?"

I put my both hands on my mouth to suppress my sob when I heard footsteps approaching me. Fat tears were falling down from my eyes and I was shaking in fear.

"We know you are hiding here."

My heart beats getting fast. Soon they are going to find me and then kill me.

"Booommmm...."

"Aaahhhhhhhh....." I shouted out loud when a rioter suddenly stood in-front of me and behind him five rioters were also standing with their swords and knives.

"Gave over..."

"Aaahhhhh...."

I closed my eyes and shouted when he raised his sword in the air and was about to attack me when I heard the gun shots. I opened my eyes slowly and the man standing in front of me, fall down to his knees and then his bidy laid on the floor lifelessly. Dhruv was standing in-front of me with his gun. His jaw was clenched while his eyes were glistening with unshaded tears. Suddenly a rioter came from behind and was he about to attack Dhruv but Dhruv dodge the attack on time and beat him black and blue. Others were approaching him but his team reached on time and they have handled all of them.

Dhruv's eyes met with mine and we both were looking at eachother with unshaded tears. Only our eyes were talking and I can feel worry in his eyes. Not just worry but the fear I can feel in his eyes.

"Dhruv....." I whispered his name through my tears. He came back to his senses and without wasting any second he approached me and sit in-front of me on his knees.

"Baby, Are you okay?" He asked while wiping my tears and I nodded my head.

"I got hurt my leg in the blast." I said while wincing in pain. He looked down to my leg and lifted my jeans up. My leg have a cut and blood was ozing out from it. Dhruv immediately took out handkerchief from his trousers and wrap it around my leg.

"Don't worry, I got you. Hold me tight." He scooped me in his arms in a bridal style and started walking to the outside. I saw police was arresting the rioters and helping those who were stucking in this building. I encircled my arms around Dhruv's neck and rested my head on his chest. I closed my fir sometime when my head started spinning nd I don't know when I drift into the darkness.

"Mmmhhhh..."

I winced in pain. My body was aching like I have beaten badly. My leg, it was paining. I furrowed and open my eyes slowly but found darkness ll around me. I feel a soft mattress under me and a firm hold on my hand.

I turn to my right and found Dhruv sitting beside me, looking at me with concern. He was looking tired and exhaust. It was midnight and we are in our room but looking at him, it feels like he didn't sleep for a minute.

He run his finger in my hair, "How are you feeling now?" His voice was laced with concern.

I took his both hands in mine and cupped his cheek with my right palm.

"Nothing could be happen to me as long as you are with me." I smiled sadly and looked at him with love. He hold my hand which was on his cheek and gave a soft kiss on my palm.

"You scared me today." His eyes were fill with unshaded tears. He was trying hard to hold his emotions.

"I'm sorry. I should have informed you." My own eyes filled with tears and a loan tear stream down to my right eye.

"It's okay.", He sniffed and looked away from me.

"Sleep, it's past midnight." He looked at me and again caressed my head while looking at me lovingly.

He got up from the chair and was about to went away but I hold his hand and stopped him.

"I want to sleep holding you." I was begging to him. I just wanted to feel him close to me. He nodded his head and without wasting any minute he climbed on the bed and laid beside on me.

I moved little closer to him and he took me in his arms.

"Dhruv....."

"Hmmmm..." He hummed.

"Kiss me."

He looked down at me and I was looking at him with hope. The fear of loosing him still inside me. What would happen if he didn't come on time. I may not be laying in his arms and asking him for kiss.

He keep looking at me and didn't make any move. So I closed the distance between us. He took a sharp breath when I took his lips between mine and suck his lowe lip slowly. I mived my lips against him like I was loving to them. He put his arm around my waist and pull me to him taking care of my leg.

After sometime he also stated moving his lips against mine and we both get lost into it. I was the one who broke the kiss and touched our foreheads. We have closed our eyes and both were panting like we ran a merathon.

At this moment I wanted to confess him that I am in love with him but again I hold back my emotions. I don't know what good I did in my past life that I have him as my husband.

Thankyou Dhruv, Thankyou so much for coming back into my life and marrying me. I may die by now if didn't come back. Thankyou for saving me. I have everything now and I don't want to loose it.

I hide my face in the crook of his neck and hugged him tightly. My leg was hurting but the pain in my heart is much than the pain in my leg.

"Good night sweetheart..." He kissed on my head. I closed my eyes and lean to his kiss. His arms feels like home. My safe heaven.

These days I'm emotionally drained. Incidence happened in my life which break me emotionally that's why update got delayed. I am so sorry for that.

Hope things soon get settle in my life.
