"Thank you," I breathed out as I hugged my father goodbye. "For being so open and easy to talk to." I say and he beams.

"You're still my little girl after all." He gave a quick peck on my forehead.

Before I could reach for the doorknob, the door swings open and I freeze. "Aera," I stood frozen to the ground as I stared right at my sister. Her eyes stay locked onto mine for a second but she doesn't hold my gaze any longer. She barely acknowledges me, simply walking through the door.

"I'll get going." I spoke out before my dad could try and step in.

"You could stay for lunch, if you want." My father suggested and Aera's room door slams shut.

"It's okay, really. Taehyung's picking me up." I said and my father simply nods in response right before bidding me goodbye.

I walk out, expecting to see Taehyung but instead I was greeted by a different brunette. "Jimin?" I question as I walked towards him.

"If it isn't the bridesmaid." He lets out coyly and I cringe at that word. "Too soon?" He sucked his teeth upon seeing my reaction.

"Nope," I shook my head. "Just something that shouldn't be brought up." I say as I look at him. "Ever." I stressed and he raised his hands in surrender with a chuckle.

"Where's Taehyung anyway?" I asked as he walked towards his car.

"He got held up at work, apparently the new guy's still being a pain in the ass." He groaned as he got in the car.

He picked up a bottle of water, unscrewing the cap. "And Taehyung didn't want you driving in your current state." He lets out right before tipping the bottle to his lips, taking a few sips.

"My current state?" I looked to Jimin as I hopped onto the passenger's seat. "Since when were pregnant women not allowed to drive?" I giggled at the thought of Taehyung's thought process as I buckled my seatbelt.

Upon hearing me speak, Jimin chokes, spilling what was left of the water on himself. "What?" He coughed out in exclamation and I flinched.

"What what?" I stared at him with furrowed brows, my body pressed against the door of his car as I stared at his worked up form.

"He didn't want you driving because of your dizzy spells. He never said anything about you being pregnant." He rushed through the sentence in between coughs and I tense up.

"Shit."

"Oh," he shook his head with a laugh of disbelief. "'Shit's right." He started the car. "You're pregnant? And he doesn't tell me?" Jimin began rambling to himself with the constant shake of his head.

"Where are you going?" I asked the moment he takes an unfamiliar turn.

"To go get him of course!" He exclaimed as he drove, eyes fixed on the road.

"I thought he was working?" I looked at him with confusion.

"That doesn't mean anything to me now." Jimin grumbled as he drove along the highway.

"Okay, look. I know you're mad-"

"Mad's an understatement." He ran his fingers through his hair with one hand while the other remained on the steering wheel.

"But, you have to understand. I wasn't exactly giving him an easy time." The moment I say those words I feel a dull pain tug onto my heart. "Oh my gosh, I was so hard on him." Memories from the day before flooded me as I recalled how I had lashed out at him.

I pressed my eyes shut and Jimin gasped. "Are you crying?" His voice still loud and I nod as tears ran down my cheeks.

"I'm sorry, I've just been really emotional." I wipe my tears with the back of my hands, the current state of chaos in the car growing by the second.

"It's probably just your mood swings." Jimin lets out and I feel something within me twist.

"What?" I snap at him.

"Haven't you heard of pregnant women getting mood swings because-" and he pauses the moment he glanced at my crying form. "And haven't you heard of not telling a pregnant woman she has mood swings, Jimin!" He chastised himself with a whisper right before throwing me another glance.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean-"

"Shut up and drive." I wipe my cheeks, trying to get myself together but he shook his head.

"Taehyung's going to kill me if he thinks I made you cry." He breathed out, sinking a little into his seat.

"I'm not crying." I pout a little as I dried my cheeks.

"What's wrong?" Taehyung rushed out the moment he sees my form. Jimin was shadowing him as the both of them walked towards the car.

"Nothing," I shook my head whilst sniffling.

"What did you do?" Taehyung pulled onto Jimin's arm and he shrunk back slightly.

"Nothing! I just said-" And then he tugged onto Taehyung so that he'd lower himself. Jimin leaned forward and whispered something into his ears and Taehyung stood back up swiftly with the roll of his eyes.

"Tch." Taehyung clicked out of annoyance right before hitting the side of Jimin's arm. Jimin winced a little as Taehyung approached me, "you know, whatever you're feeling-"

"No he's right. I've been a mess and I've been taking it out on you and I'm sorry." I began babbling and he cups my cheeks through the window.

"Hey," He chuckles a little. "It's okay. I understand. I don't want you feeling bad about this, understand?" His eyes pierced through mine and I suddenly feel at ease.

"Mmhmm," I hummed with a nod and Taehyung gave me a quick peck on my forehead.

"Jimin," Taehyung turned around to Jimin, "can you take her home now? I have to get back to work." He said as he tried walking in but Jimin stopped him.

"No, no." Jimin shook his finger to and fro. "We still haven't settled this." He crossed his arms with his head thrown back slightly.

"Fine," Taehyung sighed. "Areum, get out of the car." He beckoned me with his hand and I frowned. "If Jimin's not going to get you home then I will, come." He opened the door for me whilst fishing out his keys from his pocket.

"Hey!" Jimin yelled a little as Taehyung and I walked away.

"We'll talk at tomorrow's dinner!" Taehyung chimed whilst Jimin continued rambling on behind us.

"Don't you think it's a little harsh, leaving him here?" I laughed as Taehyung opened the car door for me.

"This is more common than you think." Taehyung shook his head with amusement as he got in the drivers seat.

"Why didn't you tell him though?" I asked and Taehyung turned to look at me. "About the pregnancy."

"I don't know." He breathed out, leaning into the seat. "Like I always say, Jimin and the rest of the boys are the closest thing to a family for me." He looked at me, "apart from you, obviously." And I gave a subtle smile.

"I guess a part of me was scared too." He sighed and I simply nod, understanding him. "What happened with your dad today?" He asked as he started the car.

"We talked and even though I'm still terrified," my eyes found his. "I really want this baby. I want to raise this child with you." Taehyung's lips stretch wide with my response and he leaned in to kiss me before driving.

"He also said that there would be this moment of release, where we would just be so in love with the baby that we'll just know that everything will be okay." I said and Taehyung reached out to hold my hand for a brief moment, flashing me the brightest smile.

"Didn't I tell you this before?" He asked and I frowned a little. "Every little thing is gonna be alright." He sang in a dorky way and I couldn't help but laugh.
