"Mail's here," Steve walked into the kitchen carrying a stack of envelopes. He nearly dropped them all when Percy seemed to appear out of no where, examining the letters for something. "Jesus- Don't do that, I almost dropped everything!"

The demigod looked up at him and raised his eyebrows. "Sorry," He said in the most unapologetic way possible. "I'm waiting for something."

"Perce, it's only been a day," Clint said from the kitchen table. "Chill out. Your penpal will reply soon enough. If not then at least you tried. Phil has to understand that."

"Mm, I guess you can be right for once..." Percy grabbed half of the stack of envelopes, carrying them to the table as a silent apology to the super soldier for scaring him by accident.

""Whoop, is the fan mail here?" Tony walked in grinning. He pecked his boyfriend on the cheek before he reached for a letter addressed to him.

"Fan mail?" The demigod tilted his head.

The billionaire gaped for a moment before turning to the other Avengers gathered, "Has no one told him about the fan mail?"

They looked at each other before Bruce answered, cleaning his glasses, "I guess it slipped our minds. Sorry."

"Aw, it's okay, Brucie," Tony grinned. "Well, PJ, once every month we answer any fan mail that comes in. JARVIS has to scan everything before it gets to us so that's why it takes so long."

"Huh," Percy nodded. "So, is there any for me?"

"Are you kidding?" Clint snorted from where he and Natasha were dividing the letters. He gestured to a tall pile, "These are all yours."

The nineteen year-old mouth made an 'o' shape before he sat down in front of his pile. He pulled out an envelope and looked at the back before his eyes widened. He put it down without opening it and reached for another one. As he kept looking through the pile, tears started gathering in his eyes.

"Percy?" Tony looked at his boyfriend worriedly. "Are you okay?"

The demigod looked up and gave a watery smile, "Yeah, it's just... They wrote me letters." He held up one of the envelopes and the return address said Half-Blood Hill Long Island, New York, "They wrote me letters."

The inventor smiled, "I guess you have a lot to respond to then. Better get started, yeah?"

"Yeah, right, okay," Percy nodded quickly and picked up his pile, rushing towards the elevator. Tony quickly followed him, bring his own pile as well. He was happy for his boyfriend, happy that his friends in the camp wrote him letters. He knew that the demigod was stressed lately, Natasha and Steve's incident ("fuck up" as Percy would say) on his mind, so he knew that this would be a good distraction for him.

"Look, look," Percy patted Tony's arm to get his attention. He leaned over his pile of letters to pick up a box, "Someone sent me a package."

"Is it from the camp?" The inventor looked at it curiously, scooting closer.

"No, not this time. I wonder what's inside," The nineteen year-old grinned excitedly.

"Well, open it and find out."

"M'kay," He carefully opened the box and he started chuckling when he pulled out a teddy bear. It was dressed up like him, with the mask he uses to fight and a hand-sewn version of his battle outfit. The sewing work was a little crude but, when he grabbed a letter that was still inside the box, he knew why.

Dear Halo,

My name is Eden and I'm eleven years old. Me and my mom went to the store and I noticed that you didn't have a toy like the other Avengers. I'm sorry that it's bad. My grandma is teaching me how to sew. I know it's weird that a boy sews. Everyone at school tells me that. I hope you write back.

From,

Eden

There was a picture attached to the bottom of the letter of a short brown-haired boy standing in front of an elementary school in Manhattan. He looked shy and he was hunched in on himself as he seemed to be gripping his backpack tightly. Even while he was surrounded by over a dozen kids, he looked lonely.

Tony was reading over his shoulder and he didn't know what to say. The letter, for how short it was, was kind of sad in a way. No kid should be teased for doing something that they like to do but Tony knew that it happened a lot everyday. He shook his head and glanced at his boyfriend, who had yet to tear his eyes away from the letter, "It's a cute bear."

"Yeah," Percy looked at the stuffed animal before pulling it close to his chest. "I like it."

Perseus,

It has been a few years since you have left Camp Half-Blood and I hope this letter finds you well. I understand why you felt that you had to leave, why you felt that you couldn't stay, and know that no one blames you. In their eyes and in their hearts, they still believe you to be the Hero of Olympus.

I am incredibly proud of you, Perseus, for becoming an Avenger. Even after leaving, it seems that you cannot help but assist those in need. Becoming a part of the team has been good for you, the gods tell me. They said that they have never seen you smile so much and it makes me happy to know that your heart is healing. You deserve to be happy. You have done the world so many favors and have expected nothing in return. You have done so much for everyone and, so, I believe this is the world's way of repaying you for all that you have done.

Perseus, you will do great things. You are an incredible and bright child and I am proud to say that I have had the privilege to watch you become the hero you are today. I hope that, one day, you will return so that we may speak in person and you will be able to tell me all that you have witnessed on your journey.

May the gods be with you,

Chiron
