Not a word was spoken as they stood in the elevator but Bucky wished someone would say something. He wished they would at least scream and cry because he couldn't understand why they didn't blame him. He killed Howard and Maria, that was fact. He choked Tony's mother, listened as the life left her very body.

"Stop that."

Bucky nearly flinched when the silence was broken and turned to see Percy looking at him with his eerie green eyes, "W-What?"

"Stop... Blaming yourself..." Percy shook his head, gently tugging Tony out of the elevator when the doors opened. "Come on, I'll make both of you some hot chocolate. Sit down."

When Tony sat down on the couch, Bucky was going to go over to the chair in the far end of the room. However, before he could even take a step in that direction, Tony patted the spot next to him. "Tony?"

"Just... Sit with me? Please?"

Bucky, despite how he felt, found himself moving to the genius' side. Tony's voice was small, not at all strong like it was when he was talking to Steve and Natasha. Here, he was small and vulnerable, seeking comfort in an ex-assassin while his boyfriend made hot chocolate. "I'm sorry."

Tony just shook his head, grabbing Bucky's metal hand. He knew that the hand, the very one he was holding, caused the death of his parents but he still held it so gently. One at a time, he lifted each finger, letting it drop lightly back down. "You have nothing to be sorry for."

"I- I feel like I should still say something. It- I was the one that- that killed them."

"No, it was HYDRA. You didn't get to choose to do anything. You- You are just as much a victim as my parents." The genius sighed, turning the metal hand over so he could slot his hand with it, lacing their fingers together. "I'm not ever going to blame you, James."

Bucky swallowed past a lump in his throat, feeling tears begin to build up a bit in his eyes. "W-Where's that hot chocolate?" He gave a weak laugh, looking up towards the kitchen.

Percy was watching them silently, something soft in his expression that made Bucky relax. For some reason, the presence of the man made the tension leave his body, as if he felt safe with him around. In fact, Bucky felt more comfortable with Tony and Percy than he did with anyone else before post Winter Soldier.

"Here," The demigod held out the cups of cocoa, not bothered by the hand-holding. In reality, if the circumstances were different, he'd be with Tony holding Bucky's hand, too. Still, now wasn't the time. It probably wouldn't be the time for a bit. All he could was provide as much comfort as possibly as the two attempted to figure things out.

Bucky grabbed his cup with his right hand and Tony took his own with his left, both men unwilling to let go of the other's hand. "Thanks," The ex-assassin smiled, sipping some of the hot drink.

"Of course," Percy gave a lopsided grin before sitting down on the floor cross-legged, leaning his back on Tony's legs. "Anything for my two favorite people."

"You're... Really forgiving... With everything going on," Bucky said slowly, looking over at the man. "At least with my role in this whole thing. Why?"

The son of Poseidon was silent for a moment as he held his cup of cocoa between his hands, taking in the warmth. "Life is... Too short to blame people for the wrong things. It... I've dealt with many deaths. It's never easy, it never will be... So, there's no point in hurting yourself more blaming someone when they're innocent."

Bucky nodded, understanding the man before him a little more clearly. Despite being the youngest in the room, Percy had dealt more than them combined. The life of a demigod wasn't easy, anyone with half a brain knew that, and it caused them to have to grow up too fast. From what he heard from Thor, the son of Poseidon went on many quests, fought two wars, and traveled through Tartarus. The demigod had seen his fair share of deaths, had dealt with so much pain and heartache, and sometimes he had to experience it all alone.

"I get it," Bucky said softly, taking a sip from his cocoa. "I get it."

Tony didn't say anything for a second before leaning back in the couch, "JARVIS, can you order some Thai food for us? You know the place I like."

"Certainly, Sir. Mr. Odinson and Mr. Liesmith are requesting that they be able to see you."

The genius hesitated for a moment, "What about the kids?"

"Mr. Di Angelo and Mr. Parker have agreed to keep Mr. Liesmith's children occupied for the moment."

When Tony looked at Bucky and Percy, the two shrugged. "I don't mind if they come up here," Bucky said, though he looked a bit weary.

Percy nodded, "But if they ask too many questions or some shit, I'll tell 'em to go away."

"Alright, Jay, tell them they can come up."

JARVIS didn't respond but they could all see that the elevator was in motion. Soon, the doors opened and Loki and Thor stepped out, pillows and blankets piled in their arms.

"Peter Tonyson informed us that you were feeling saddened at the moment," Thor began, actually seeming a bit hesitant.

Loki set the blankets in his arms on the floor next to Percy, "We were also told that forts made of blankets and pillows help one feel... Secure emotionally."

Percy's eyes lit up at his words and even Tony and Bucky were looking a bit excited about the prospect. "Yes! Let's create a bomb ass fort, boys!"

"I've never made one before," Tony confessed, putting his hot chocolate on the coffee table. "But I get the general idea of it."

"They're fun to make," Bucky said, already scooping up the hot cocoa cups to take to the kitchen while Thor moved the table out of the way. "Basically, you use some big pillows like couch cushions as the walls, tiny pillows as the floors, and blankets as the door and shit."

Tony nodded, already standing to grab the cushions from the couch, "Sounds simple enough. How many blankets did you bring, Lokes?"

"I have grabbed about six or seven. I am unsure of the exact number. They are decently sized, however, so I believe they will be adequate for our needs."

Percy and Thor worked on finding a good support for the couch cushions while Tony and Loki worked on seeing which blanket would be the best for the overall top. Bucky was in charge of determining how big the fort needed to be for all five of them as well as making the flooring as comfortable as possible with any extra pillows he could find.

Soon, the fort was complete and all five of them could fit comfortably inside, even Thor with his massive bulk and Loki with his height. Percy, Bucky, and Tony were cuddled together with the genius in the middle. The Thai food had arrived and Percy and Tony shared their portion with the two gods since they weren't all that hungry. Loki and Thor were further down near the three men's legs, the two gods seeming to be trying to learn how to play Go Fish.

"Thanks for this," Tony said softly after a bit, feeling a bit sleepy with Bucky playing with his hair and Percy's arm around his waist. "I feel better already."

Thor and Loki perked up, looking up from their card game to smile softly at the man, "Anything for you."
