Heavenly.

That was the only word I could define the sandwich I was eating right now.

"I love you so much Sammy!" I threw my arms around Sammy and squealed- which is a very worrying sound for me. It totally meant that I was high. Sammy started laughing but was abruptly cut off when a growl resounded outside.

It was silent for a few minutes before I tilted my head towards Sammy and frowned, "Did you hear that?"

Sam creased his brows worriedly, "Definitely. Stay here, I think I'll go out and check-"

"-What the hell, no!" I pushed him back, "You are so not going out there alone!"

The corners of his lips rose, "Glad that you're concerned,"

I rolled my eyes, "I'm serious Sam, who knows what might be out there? It could be a savage lion, bear or wolf-" My mouth snapped shut and my eyes widened as realization dawned in on me.

"What?" Sam turned towards me when I stopped talking.

"Wolf," I whispered. Oh my god. My hands flew to my mouth and I thought I was going to be sick. It can't be possible. That growl I had heard before entering the house with Brian- I hadn't been dreaming. Oh gosh, had Blake followed me all the way here? Oh no! He probably heard the part where I said 'I love you' to Sam! What would he think?!

"Hay, I'm just going to check outside for a sec-"

"No!" I cried out, snatching his shirt in my hand and pulling roughly back.

Sam smiled down at me, "I know you're worried but it can't be anything that bad,"

"He's going to kill you Sam!" I shook his shoulders vigorously.

"Oh come on Hayley, don't dramatise-"

"I'm serious!" I whisper-yelled. I mean, what if Blake heard with his freaky super-hearing?

Sammy searched my eyes for a few seconds before sighing, "Why are you so adamant on what could be outside? Are you scared or something?"

"No, if I went out there I wouldn't even get a scratch but if you step out then you're as good as dead," I stared at him pointedly.

"I don't understand-"

"Don't try to, just do what I say- come on let's go back to your room," I tugged on his sleeve just as another growl was clearly heard- except that it was much much louder.

Okay so that meant that Blake definitely didn't like the idea of Sam and I up in his room alone.

"Uhm, I take that back, let's just sit here," I nervously laughed.

Sam pulled away and shook his head, "Okay so now this is weird. I really need to check if something dangerous is out there-"

"No!" I gasped, trying to reach out to him but he was already rushing to the door. My eyes widened in horror as his hand pressed on the doorknob.

"SAM-" I screamed as he was suddenly thrown backwards and out leaped a giant black wolf with murderous blue eyes. I tumbled forwards as Blake pinned Sam to the floor. White gleaming teeth were showing and it looked like Blake was going to tear apart Sam. I tried to pull him off but he just snarled at me before turning back to its prey.

Sam's mouth was wide in shock and horror.

"Blake!" I barked but he only glanced at me coolly. With his paws still holding Sam to the floor, he growled loudly.

"Blake if you don't get off him this instant then I'm- I'm-" I wracked my brain around for a good reason while he stared at me in amusement.

"-Then I'm running off with Brian and never talking to you again!" I rushed out- desperate for him to let Sam breathe.

To my surprise, his head snapped to me so fast I was scared he would have a whip lash. With a single bound he had pinned me to the wall and was growling ferociously.

Rolling my eyes, I petted his head covered with soft glistening black fur, "If that was what it took to make you get off him..." I couldn't help but smile as he whined softly.

"What the fucking hell?"

I turned my head to see Sam staring at us with eyes filled with disbelief.

"I told you he would eat you," I sighed. Why didn't anybody listen to me!

"Oh god, I'm dreaming- Hayley pinch me please," he gasped. I reached out to do so but Blake pushed me back, "Okay, okay! I get it, you don't want me to touch the opposite sex," I mumbled frustratingly.

"He looks very possessive of you," Sam eyed Blake unsurely.

"Yeah, big dogs mean big jealousy," I laughed and Blake whined.

"He's so big I thought it was a cross between a bear and a wolf!" That comment made Blake growl at Sam.

"Yeah, well uh...my parents like to give me...big stuff," I glanced at Sam, hoping he wouldn't see through me.

"Why was he even here?" Sam frowned.

"Oh. Uh, he's very attached to me so he likes to follow me everywhere," I shrugged as Blake licked my hand lovingly- what the fuck? Lovingly? Where did that come from? I shook my head to clear my thoughts.

"So what are we going to do with him?" Sam lifted a brow and I turned to stare at Blake too. Blake cocked his head to the side thoughtfully before sitting down on the mat behind the door- as if he was going to guard the place. He crossed his paws daintily and rested his head. I cracked a huge grin. Gosh, he was so lady-like.

"There's your answer," I grinned at Sam.

"Well if he's sure, I've got no problem as long as he really prevents any trespassers from going through," Sam shrugged and smiled back at me. Blake started growling.

"I don't think he likes it when we smile at each other too," Sam laughed and Blake rose his head to look at him curiously.

"Come on, Sam, I'm going to check if Mia is still alive and then I want another sandwich," I wiggled my index finger in his face and his grin widened.

"Good to know you like my sandwiches,"

"Like?! I freaking love it dude! If I could, I'd tell you to live at my house and become my sandwich maker,"

"That wouldn't be a problem for me as long as I got you with me," he threw one arm over my shoulder but was abruptly cut off when Blake stood up fully and growled loudly. Sam let go instantly and took a step away, "Wow, that dog really has a problem," he said as he eyed Blake.

"Yup, he does," I threw my head back and laughed.

Blake really couldn't get any weirder.
