Ding

The doors to the elevator opened. You stepped out of the elevator and headed towards your desk. Sitting on the chair, you switched on your computer only to see a picture of Park Jimin as your desktop background.

Your eyes fell on a note kept on your files. It had a message that said 'I know you like the view.' You chuckled at that.

"So full of yourself, aren't you?" You asked to no one in particular, facing the desktop background of your computer.

You came a little early for work today so you decided to head to Jimin's cabin to make him pay for his mischief.

Yes, Jimin had his own cabin cause he worked at a bigger post than you. You knocked on the door, waiting for a reply but nothing came. You noticed the door was already open so you decided to head in. Opening the door wide, you expected to see him sitting on his chair like always but he wasn't there.

Running your gaze here and there you saw a figure of a man... beneath the table. It looked like he was trying to pick something up.

Found you. You smirked internally.

You slowly walked towards the figure. Grabbing the back of his jacket, you pulled him up.

"I'm not letting you go this time, Jimin." You said, tightening your grip.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of it." A voice came from outside, making you turn your head to face the door.

Jimin?

Oh

Wait...

Hesitantly you tuned your head to have a look at the man who's jacket was still in your grip.

OH MY GOD

As soon your eyes met with the stranger, your heart skipped a beat. Was that because you were panicked or because he was so good looking? You didn't know nor did you want to know because what mattered the most right now was that you were gripping an innocent stranger's jacket in your hand.

He surely must be thinking you are a creep.

You quickly let go of his jacket.

"Y/N?" Jimin asked, entering his cabin.

"Umm... hey!!" You awkwardly greeted Jimin

"I was going to come to you." He smiled, taking a seat on his chair.

"Were you? Why?" You asked. Your anger long ago gone because of the embarrassing moment you just shared with the guy standing beside you.

Jimin nodded. "To introduce you to your partner...new partner." He gestured towards the other male in this room

Well shit...

"What?"

Jimin chuckled at your response. "You heard it right. He joined yesterday and is going to work from today. Boss says he's a beginner so he first needs to work with someone to learn how everything works." Jimin informed

"Okay... but why me?" You asked a bit confused

"Boss gave me the responsibility to find him a partner and I thought you'd be the best senior for him." Jimin informed grinning.

A sigh escaped your lips.

"Why don't you introduce yourself to her?" Jimin then turned to ask the stranger.
You lifted your head to lock your eyes with him.

Beautiful

"Hello, I'm Jungkook." He introduced himself, lifting his hand for a handshake.

This is going to be awkward.

"Hello!! I'm Y/N." You took his hand in yours and shook it.

Jimin chuckle eyeing your nervous self, having seen the awkward thing that happened in the cabin already.

"You can leave now. I have lots of work to do." Jimin uttered, trying to make himself look like a busy man infornt of the new guy.

"Of course. I'll see you later." You uttered through gritted teeth, faking a smile on your face, trying to look polite infront of the new worker.

You gestured the other male to follow you which, he did.

Walking out, your eyes met with Hosoek's.

"Hey Y/N!!"

"Hey!!" You smiled at him

Hoseok's eyes then fell on the person standing beside you.

"So he's going to work with you?" He asked, eyeing the newbie from head to toe, making the later cock an eyebrow in confusion.

"You know him?" You asked instead.

"I do. I saw him yesterday when he came for an interview." Hoseok answered.

"Oh.. yes, he's going to work with me." You answered his previous question. Only then you noticed the tray in his hand.

"What are you doing with the coffee?" You asked, pointing at the tray.

"Oh... we have a visitor in boss' office." Hoseok answered, first taking a look at the tray and and then lifting his head to face you.

"Really?? Boss makes you do THIS?" You pointed at the tray.

"Well I'm his assistant so I have to do whatever he asks me to. That's what he pays me for, doesn't he?" Hoseok smiled.

You smiled back at the man.

"I should leave now." With that Hosoek walked towards the office.

You headed towards your desk with the newbie following you from behind.

"You can work here." You informed the male pointing at the empty desk beside you. "I can show you the building, then we can talk a little on the work we have to do." You suggested

He just nodded at that, his eyes scanning the floor.

"If you are going be mute then trust me I'll die out of boredom." You said with a straight face.

"Huh?" He asked, confused by your statement.

"You know I'm kinda... talkative and if you continue to stay silent it'll make things difficult, you know? Communication is really important between partners and you seem to suck at that." You tried to joke at which he nodded yet again.

Yeah, this was definitely going to be hella difficult and awkward.

"Ok Mr. I'm-always-serious, let's show you the building." You decided to give up and just focus on your task. A smile formed on his face at your comment that you unfortunately missed because you were already walking forward with your back facing him.

"According to our sources, Mr.Lee who was arrested not so long ago was in contact with the smugglers of the underworld. He used to work for Leader." Jimin announced

You were done with the work for the day. Your partner was currently in the washroom so you decided to have a look at Jimin's live broadcast.

He was sitting there in the front, facing the camera, looking good as always. You wondered if people watched BBC news to listen to the news or to just watch him.

You sensed a figure behind so you turned to have a look. At the same time, he looked at you making you both lock your eyes for a secomd. You quickly looked away.

"He is good, isn't he?" You asked your partner, referring to Jimin, to start a conversation and to not just stand awkwardly.

He just hummed at that.

After watching Jimin silently for a few minutes, you decied to do something you should've done long time ago.

"Sorry for what I did in the morning." You apologized for what happened in the morning.

"You thought I was him?" He asked pointing at Jimin

"Wow!!! You talk?"

You did not just say that out loud, right?

"Shit." You quickly faced the front, not having enough courage to look at him now.

He smiled at that but it was invisible as you both were standing in the dark.

"I'm sorry again and yes I thought you were him." You decided to answer his question after a while as it seemed a little rude to just ignore him. After all he uttered something for the first time since the morning except for the introduction.

"Jungkook, was it?" You asked, a little bit unsure of what his name was even though he said it in the morning. Your mind was so shocked with the news of a new partner and with the awkward moment between you two that you didn't really pay attention to his introduction.

It felt weird, to him it did. But it was... good too? He almost forgot how his name sounded like from other's lips except for Yoongi of course. It's been a while since Black Knight heard some stranger call him by his real name.

His mind went blank for a second. He was just staring at you, digesting the fact that he was finally in this outside world where people knew him as Jungkook and not as Black Knight.

Did that mean he had his own identity now?

"Earth to Mr. I'm-always-seroious." You snapped your fingers in front of his face, joking.

Jungkook blinked. "Umm... yes. You're right... yeah... it's Jungkook...yes" he answered awkwardly. You smiled at his adorable response.

"CUT!!" The director shouted!! "That was a good one. Well done!!" He added and with that they started to wrap up.

Jimin got up from the seat and walked straight towards you, having seen you long ago in the crowd.

"If you are here to ask me for a date then I'm sorry but I have plans." Jimin joked as soon as he approached you.

"Oh really? Guess I'll have to leave then." You decided to play along.

Jungkook just stood there awkwardly.

"Hold on... you were really going to ask me out?? Shit!! I was just joking." Jimin seemed shocked by your response.

"I'll ask you out in your dreams Park Jimin." You laughed. "I was just here waiting to bid good bye to you. I finished early so..." You trailed off.

"Okay then Good Bye!!" He uttered, acting like he was disappointed.

"You are not joining me?" You asked, smiling at Jimin.

"Nope. Got some work to do. You can leave first." He smiled back, having decided to stop with fooling around with you.

"Alright then. Good Bye!!" You left, gesturing Jungkook to follow you. Jimin observed both of your figure disappear from his sight.

He sighed and left to get done with his work.

"Don't ever come to visit me like this again." Namjoon rudely ordered the visitor who came to meet him this morning. Both were standing out of the office now.

"But Namjoon I'm your-

"No you aren't. You are not my brother. We just have same father. That's it. Now leave." With that Namjoon left the other Kim behind and entered his office.

The male just sighed, taking one last glance at the office and deciding to head home.
