'wrap it before you tap it.'

Once again I found myself squished into the back of Stiles jeep, only a slight breeze pouring in through the small opening of the passenger window and my legs cramped into the front seats with the seatbelt constricting me to the chair. Scotty had called shotgun, a rather annoying smile spread across his face as he did and if you couldn't already tell, I wasn't very happy about it.

I was sat in my room music blasting through the speakers as I sang along to the words when Stiles practically gave me freaking heart attack barging into my room, the opening door almost hitting me directly in the face and he was followed by an apologetic looking Scott.

After asking how they got in, a look opposite of confusion plastered my face, the mole covered boy having a small metallic key just like he did for Scott's house. The fact I'm itself should have creeped me out, his ability to walk into my room whenever he wanted but considering it was Stiles, it was nothing out of the ordinary.

I quickly shoved a pill bottle into the bedside drawer, the wooden furniture slamming shut with a rather loud click and received a questioning looks from both boys. I didn't want them to know, the worry that comes along would be almost overbearing and I really didn't feel like having their eyes on me every second of the day. It had been an easy lie, the words slipping straight from my tongue as I covered it up, girl stuff being the awkward untruthfulness.

They explained to me how Scott had visited Derek, the blue eyed wolf offering some rather smart advice, Scott having to go back to the bus, the one from his rather lucid dream and his memories of what happened would come back. The Jeep drove slowly, only a few above the speed limit down the all to familiar roads that led to hell on earth. The place being more commonly known as school.

The car ride was short and silence was the only thing filling the air, tension feeling thick as we were all anxious, the tapping of Stiles fingers heard against the steering wheel and the tapping of the werewolves foot. None of us spoke, clueless of what to say or how to approach the delicate situation. We arrived at the school, the blue vehicle pulling to a halt as we clambered out. Our footsteps being heard against the concreted ground.

We all approached the gate, the high metalled fence coming into view that lead to the bus lot. It was still wardened off, police tape still evident but still the space was seemingly empty of law enforcement or security. Both boys placed their hands against the cool metal, gripping it tightly as they started to climb the obstacle.

"No. Just me. Somebody needs to keep watch." Scott said, his voice startling me slightly as he broke the silence for the first time that night, his words causing Stiles to jump down from the little of the fence he had climbed and look over at the boy.

"Well Li can keep watch." He said as if it was obvious, his hands gesturing to where I stood, only a metre behind the two with my arms crossed over one another.

"Just go and keep watch." The wolf told him in response, his tone stern and authoritative making the boy sigh rather loudly.

"Why is it starting to feel like you're Batman and I'm robin? I don't wanna be robin all the time!" Stiles exclaimed clearly annoyed with the current situation, him wanting to be included in the action.

"Nobody's Batman or Robin any of the time." Said Scott, his hands back onto the metallic height as he started to climb the fence once again, his legs swinging over the top jumped landing on the other side perfectly.

I dragged Stiles by the collar, my fingers wrapping around the edge of his shirt tightly , pulling back to his jeep as he began to whine like a child about never getting to be Batman. His voice was rather annoying me, much like children did.

"So if you're Batman and robin them who am I?" I asked him trying to shut his consistent whine and his eyes looked over to me surprised I had spoken.

"Cat woman." He said smiling at me and I groaned, I had always been more of a Marvel fan, him loving DC.

"Can't we be avengers instead they're cooler, like you could be Vision and I can be Scarlett Witch and Scott can be Captain America because he's basically a super soldier now." I said to Stiles who's jaw was basically on the floor, his surprised look deepening at my words as he felt awe.

"Since when are you an avengers fan?" He asked me looking shocked, my eyes trailing down to the marvel top I was currently wearing and his brown ones doing the same.

"Since forever Stiles seriously you call yourself my best friend." I said shaking my head in fake disappointment at him.

"There's no way the avengers are cooler than Batman." He said confidently, his tone not wavering as he stared intently at me, his focus no longer on the parking lot. "And you do know that Vision and Scarle-"

"Oh no!" I said catching sight of a security guard, the unmistakable glow of a flashlight beginning to illuminate the widows of the bus, his footsteps carrying him closer to the boy who was probably none the wiser of his presence. I quickly leaned over, my body almost on top of Stiles as I placed my hand on the steering wheel, honking the horn. The loud noise signalling Scott that we need to leave and Stiles seemed to catch on and started up the jeep.

I quickly jumped in the backseat, my legs flailing over the two front chairs almost hitting the boy as Scott got in the car, his supernatural speed coming to the rescue and we sped away from the security guard who's face was steaming dead with anger and also currently yelling profanities at the car as it retreated.

"Well, did it work? Did you remember?" Stiles asked looking over at Scott in the passenger seat expectantly.

"Yeah, I was there last night and the blood, a lot of it was mine." He said glancing between the two of us, the comment should have been comforting, but I still felt worry because he was hurt, he might have the ability to heal faster than humanly possible but I bet it still hurt.

"So did you attack him then?" I asked knowing we needed the answer, the thoughts of the man being rolled away on a gurney popping into my head.

"No I saw glowing eyes on the back of the bus, but they weren't mine." He responded, shaking his head as he did so before letting out an audible gulp. "It was Derek."

"But why would Derek help you remember that he attacked the bus driver?" Asked Stiles practically taking the words right out of my mouth, it made no sense. If he wanted to commit a crime and get away with it, he wouldn't spill his guts to one of the teenagers who got him locked up in the first place.
Scott looked just as confused as us, his eyebrows furrowed as he seemed deep in thought.

"Thats what I don't get." Replied the beta.

"Here's a thought, maybe it wasn't him and there's another werewolf running around Beacon Hills." I said, my tone loud enough for the two to hear but still they chose to ignore it and continue with their own conversation.

"It's gotta be a pack thing. Like an initiation, you do the kill together." Said Stiles as if he just solved the problem, a small smile spread on his lips as he spoke, seemingly proud of himself.

"Well whatever happened, means you're not a killer and that you-" Stiles started, his words being cut of by a now happy looking Scott.

"Can go out with Allison" Scott finished for him and we both rolled our eyes at our obviously love struck friend, his smile spread from ear to ear and his eyes wide with thoughts if a certain brunette.

"Actually I think he was going to say that you won't kill us but that's great too." I said sarcastically, the boy looking over to me, acknowledging my presence as his smile turned sheepish.

"Oh yeah that too." He replied, earning a snack in the back of the head from me and a wince of pain leaving his mouth. "So you too are 'studying' tonight." The boy asked making sure to put quotation marks around the word studying.

"Yes Scott we are and no we are not going to have sex, god you sound just like Lydia." I said as I glanced between the two boys, Stiles was obviously uncomfortable with the situation and Scott was clearly amused. "By the way Scotty, I have a present for you."

"Oh yeah. What is it?" He said now excited, his eyes watching me intently waiting for the gift.

"Put out your hands." I told him to which he did, his palms held in front of him, in a cupping motion as I reached into my back pocket pulling out condoms that Lydia have to me before our rapid departure at lunch. I placed them in his hands and he just groaned upon seeing the small metallic packaging he was now holding as both me and Stiles laughed.

"Condoms seriously, where did you even get these?" He asked me in clear annoyance.

"Lydia gave that to me and I have to convey the message 'wrap it before you tap it' Scotty boy. I don't particularly feel like changing any dirty diapers anytime soon." I said whilst laughing along with Stiles who found this absolutely hilarious, the wolfs face morphed in an expression of annoyance.

"Haha very funny Li, but maybe you need them more than I do, I mean I'm all for Liles but I don't think I can handle another one of either of you." He said as we both stopped laughing, the roles reversing and instead it was now him who had the leaguing motive of the conversation.

"Seriously Scott, Liles, you still milking that?" I enquired, my tone no longer jokey or sarcastic, rather it was completely serious.

"Maybe I am still milking that because one day you are both going to admit that you have a crush on each other and get married and I'm gonna become an uncle." Said Scott grinning like an idiot, putting the present I had given him in to his back pocket when he thought neither of us were looking but I smirked as I saw.

"I'll believe it when it happens Scotty."

~~~
Me and Stiles were sat on his bed, my face buried into the pillow as the scent of pine and mint hit my nostrils, it was unmistakably the scent of the boy. We were studying, my hands aching from the amount of writing I had done and my eyes feeling strained from staring at the same sentence of the text book for the last ten minutes. We had in Harris's class next week and I was so bored. We had been studying for about two hours now and the city wide curfew was about to begin but I couldn't bring myself to care.
"Stiles, I'm bored we've been studying for hours." I said with a sigh, my head digging itself deeper into the boys pillow as he looked over at me annoyed, I had broken his focus.
"Ok fine, why do you need to study anyway, you're the smartest person I know?" He asked seemingly confused, his eyes trailing to the AP Chemistry book that was laying beside me on the bed.
"I don't know Stiles I just like to refresh my knowledge every once in a while." I said knowing that I hate studying but I was scared to get bad grades. Even though my parents were no longer around to lecture me about my then, I wanted to do well and make them proud. Whilst thinking about them, I hadn't realised a stray had slipped through my eye, the voice of the boy breaking me from my trance.
"Hey Li, what's wrong?" He asked me, his body plopping down on the bed next to me, making a indent into the mattress.
"I just miss them, you know?" I told him, I didn't have to explain for him to understand exactly what I had meant. His arms wrapped around my shoulders, him gripping me tightly as he pulled my body into his and laid my head on his chest.
"I know Li, I know." He said and he stroked my hair, pulling me backwards from the position we had sat with our legs dangling over the edge, ending up laid down. He cradled me until I stopped crying, whispering sweet nothings in my ear as I felt stupid for dampening the mood and ruining our study session.
"I love you Stiles." I told him, my tone coming out croaky and my voice sounding scratchy from the crying. He was my best friend in the whole world except from Scott.
"I love you too Li." He replied, his lips softly kissing my forehead and I tilted my head upwards so I could look into his eyes, I didn't realise I was staring, the caramel colour seeming to entrance me. Each of us sat staring at each other, I didn't even realise the boy had began to move closer to me until the sound of a phone ringing startled us. Both of us jumping away from each other. It was Noah.
"Hey dad what's up?" He asked his father and he looked like he was listening intently as his regular facial expressions changed to that of shock and worry. Then he hung up.
"He died Li, he died." He said looking frantic, a lot of worry beginning to bury itself inside of me at the words.
"Stiles who died?" I asked unsure of who he was referring to, the panic evident in my tone:
"The guy from the bus, they said he succumbed to his wounds, he died an hour ago in the hospital." He told me whilst frantically getting up and putting on his shoes and grabbing his keys.
"Where are you going?" I asked knowing that it was now past curfew and he would get into trouble with his father.
"I have to go tell Scott, are you coming?" He asked like he didn't already know the answer, my body jumping from the comfort of the bed and bending down to pull on my shoes.
"Of course I'm coming you idiot."
~~~

It wasn't a long drive to Scott's house and the jeep was filled with a comfortable silence as neither of us really knew what to say, especially with that awkward moment back at his house. We each shared regular glances at the other, quickly whipping our heads back to their previous positions when we were caught. No words were spoken however, neither of us knowing how to start a conversation.

I have always found Stiles attractive but lately I've been thinking that maybe my feelings for him are more than just friendship. It was confusing me greatly. When I'm around him I don't get flustered or nervous but he makes me happy and he always knows how to make me laugh. He has always been there for me no matter what, after my parents died, him and Scott were my rocks.

"You know I really appreciate you right." I told him as we pulled up to the front of his house, the words spilling from my tongue just above a whisper. And he looked over at me with a confused expression as if asking me to elaborate. "I mean, you and Scott, you've always been there for me and I want you to know that I appreciate it." I told him and he just smiled at me, he hated the awkward tension as much as I did and he was not only appreciative that I had broken it but also that the comment was not needed but still decided to say it.

"Of course we know Li! You don't need to thank us, we're family." He said and I smiled back as we both began to climb the tree that led to Scott's bedroom window, our hands gripping tightly to the branches as we both reached the ledge, our legs swinging over the wood and climbed through landing with a thud on his made bed. Then the light turned on, the brightness startling the two of us and we were met with a screaming Melissa holding a baseball bat ready to hit what she thought was probably a burglar.

"Stiles, Lilac, what the hell?" Exclaimed Melissa as she held he chest, breathing heavily from the scare.

"Jesus, do either of you actually play baseball?" Stiles asked as Scott suddenly appeared in the doorway of his bedroom. His eyes halving between the three of us in confusion that only deepened as he saw the wooden weapon in the hands of his mother who turned to him.

"Scott can you please tell your friends to use the front door." She told him, the boy sending he a sheepish smile of apology.

"But we lock the front door, they wouldn't be able to get in!" Scott told his mother in defence of us she gave him a look as if to say 'yes that's the whole point' and with that she turned back to us again in question.

"By the way don't any of you care that there is a police enforced curfew?" The woman asked next, she probably already knew what we were going to say.

"No." We all replied in unison, the nurse letting out a small sigh of annoyance.

"Well that's enough parenting for me tonight." Said Mellisa as she left the room muttering good nights to us a wave being sent our way. Scott now turned to look at us with an expression of confusion as to why we snuck into his room.

"Please tell me you didn't have sex in my bed!" Said Scott whilst making gagging sounds, him walking over to check his bed was clean and sighed in relief upon seeing it was still freshly made the same way he had when he left.

"What? Ew no! We came to tell you about the bus driver!" Said Stiles clearly annoyed at Scott's insinuation and the werewolf's head shot up at the mention of the man.

"Well what happened!" He questioned eagerly, his eyes wide as he took a seat on his bed.

"They said he succumbed to his wounds." Stiles told him, the look of confusion returning to his face as the boys words.

"Succumbed?" Asked Scott clearly not understanding what he meant.

"Scotty, he died." I told him trying to sound as sincere as possible, I watched as his eyes turned glassy before he began to seethe in anger. His face now sporting a deep crimson from anger.

"Derek, Derek did this." He told us frantically, each of his words leaves with venom and with that he was out of the window, the sound of his feet hitting the ground below hitting both of our ears off to what we could only assume was Dereks house. We glanced out the glass pane, the boy no longer in sight causing both of  us to sigh.

"Well this time we'll use the front door."
