I didn't know what was more shocking the fact that Kieran said he was in love with me or the fact that they were rolling around a perfectly polished floor getting each others blood all over the place. How inconsiderate.

I think the love thing is more shocking than anything, he had always showed an interest in me throughout the years but I didn't think much of it apart from harmless flirting. I was still shocked that we were even a couple.

Me, in a relationship with Kieran. Never did I see that coming. Should I be in love with him?

No one made an effort to stop the fight as they created a circle like a bunch of high school children. Their phones out as they recorded the fight. Not only were they all too busy on their stupid phones to stop the fight none of them was going to get between Kieran and the wrath of Darien. He was known to be a ruthless fighter and by the state Kieran was in compared to Darien I knew why.

I didn't know how to feel having two men fight over me, I would be lying if I said I was enjoying myself because I sure as hell wasn't.

The sound of Kierans nose breaking under Dariens fist had my stomach churn with the need to be sick, my legs going wobbly underneath me as I bumped into the man beside me who quickly steadied me like a gentleman.

Why the hell was I just standing here as my boyfriend got beat to a pulp by my ex?

Sighing I took a step forward, ready to intervene since no one else was. Even my brothers were watching by the sideline. Both looking extremely amused by the situation.

A girl ran into the center of the circle, her hair flying everywhere as she quickly made it to the middle. A smirk on her lips as I instantly recognized her as the girl Kieran had been arguing with earlier, his supposed ex girlfriend.

Her eyes twinkled with mischief as she lifted her leg, bring her stiletto down full force on Dariens unsuspecting head causing him to fall off Kieran with a groan. His eyes rolling to the back of his head as I sprung into action.

My body rugby tackling her to the hard ground as my fist pounded into her face, all the pent up anger within me getting unleashed on the unsuspecting girl. The fury within me scary as my full body shook in rage. My fists flying without me focusing as I ignored the world around me.

One thing that pissed me off was when women hit men knowing full well they wouldn't hurt them back and another thing; she hut my man.

My legs straddled her body as she screamed beneath me, her body shaking as she tried to get me off. Her hands trying to grab at my neck to strangle me as I took her wrists in my hands, pinning them by her head as I smirked down at her.

"You messed with the wrong person," I laughed lowly, watching her squirm. My knee coming up beside her to smack her in the rib cage causing a scream of pain to erupt through her bloodied lips.

I wasn't myself. It was an outer body experience as I gave her what she deserved. She should of stayed out of it. It wasn't anything to do with her.

Her eyes started to fall to the back of her head as she got weak beneath me, her eyelashes fluttering every now any again.

"Shhh baby," strong arms wrapped around me from behind as I sagged against their hard chest, my energy drained as I looked at the girl with wide eyes. Why the hell did I do that?

"I got you," his voice was soft as he pulled me off the girl, his arms going under my knees to carry me bridal style.

I was too shocked to protest as he left the room. Walking around the mansion with me until we entered a massive bathroom.

Placing me on the counter before pushing his body between my parted legs. His hand caressing my wet cheek as I noticed for the first time I had been crying.

"Shh," he whispered, his voice delicate as he cleared the tears from my face.

"Just like your first fight," he smiled, blood running down his face as his full concentration was on me.

A smile tugging at my lips at the precious memory. I was fifteen at the time, people had stopped bullying me so much because I was Dariens girlfriend but there was still some who tormented me every chance they got. It was the last straw when she started placing innocent kisses on Dariens face with me in front of him. He didn't get the chance to push her off because I was already on top of her. I can still see her face when I broke her jaw and arm. I cried after that as well, tears of anger.

"That was also your fault," I laughed lightly, feeling slightly better as my chest hurt. Why did my life have to be so drama packed. Why couldn't I just skip everything to the part where I'm settled with kids in a different country away from my parents? No, I had to live through the crap before all that.

"Hey, you always hated women near me my treasure," he smirked, a glint of happiness in his eyes.

I continued to stare at him, a slash in his forehead where that bitches stiletto had struck. Blood was slowly running from his nose, going darker as it dried, his lip was burst open and a nasty bruise was beginning to show on his jaw yet he was caring to my tears.

"What happened to us Darien?" I sighed, we had been so perfect, everything was happy back then. I was completely different back then but I was happy. I would of took it all back just to be happy again for once in my life.

"We both got fucked over and I broke your heart," he clenched his teeth together, closing his eyes as he rested his forehead against mine. His hands holding my hips as he breathed deeply.

None of us spoke as his blood pressed against my forehead, running down my face. Not saying a word as tears fell from his eyes, dripping between us as he held me. Silently comforting the both of us when no one else in the world could.

"My Sapphire, my treasure," he whispered softly, my heart clenching as tears fell from my own eyes at the raw pain I felt.

His lips pressed to my forehead, lingering slightly as my eyes shut on their own. Savoring the feeling that was now to foreign to me.

"You're not going to listen to me but he's up to something and I will find out what. I don't trust him. You aren't going to listen to me but be careful," he sighed, pulling away from me as my body instantly felt cold.

Pulling his phone from his suit pocket he typed for a second before his bloodshot eyes met mine.

"I will hurt him if he hurts you, you've been through enough pain in your lifetime," he sighed sadly, stroking my cheek as my body leaned against him.

His mouth pressed to mine in a soft kiss, like a feather brushing over my sensitive skin before he pulled away from me.

"My beautiful treasure," he smiled lovingly despite the tears that fell from his eyes.

"I will always love you," my heart clenched, the words I ached to hear for many years rolling from his tongue but I no longer wanted them. Why did he have to say that when I was so vulnerable after the night I just endured.

He was broken.

He smiled sadly as my brothers charged into the room, shooting a warning look to Darien before rushing over to me. Checking for any damage as I sat numb, ignoring the words that left their mouth as Darien silently left the room with his head bowed to the floor.

"Thank you," echoing in my mind, the words he whispered before leaving.

A sob finally escaping my mouth as I let everything go. The pain I had for my devil mother, the pain I had for my gambling scumbag of a father, the pain in my heart for the love I lost and the emptiness I felt. It all came out as I clung to my brothers, their comforting words going in one year and out another as I broke down.

My strong exterior crumbling.

"Kieran?" I whispered in between tears, wondering where my boyfriend was when I needed him the most.

"Still out cold on the floor," Marcos smirked, obviously satisfied as more tears fell from my eyes. Accusing him of not being there for me when he was knocked unconscious.

"That was some rugby tackle I am extremely proud of you," Marcio smiled, his eyes shining with admiration as I pulled him closer to me. Who needed parents when you had amazing brothers?

"Your telling me you stood and watched me beat a woman unconscious and didn't try to stop me?" I rolled my eyes, they were such boys when it came to fighting.

"Hell yes, not everyday we get to watch our little sis kick someones ass although I wish it was our mothers," they both smiled as I sighed deeply.

Grabbing a towel Marcos dabbed my face with too much force than needed as I glared at him through my damp eye lashes.

Sighing I pushed myself off the counter, steadying myself before walking out the bathroom. Trying to find my way back to the party as I wished I payed more attention to where I was going.

It didn't take long before I was back in the hall, many people looking at me strangely as the atmosphere in the room was completely tense. I was shown in the media as the cold hearted business women but never did anyone see me in an actual fist fight with anyone. Never a brutal one anyway.

Kieran no longer lay on the floor as I scanned the room for him, spotting him in the corner of the room holding an ice pack to the womans face with care. Checking her for breaks as he softly touched her skin.

His face much worse than Darien as I almost winced, almost. The woman beside him had me wanting to go for another round as I stormed towards them with my head high.

"Kieran," I spoke when I got close to them, trying to hide the anger and my previous breakdown from my voice as his eyes filled with hatred turned towards me.

"She was helping me Sapphire how could you?" he growled out through clenched teeth, "she was trying to get him off me, the thing you should of been doing," he spat as I glared back at him. How dare he!

"I should of been there for you? Where the hell where you when my mother dragged me away by my arm? Standing watching me. Where the hell where you when she raised her hand to me? Standing talking to your old bed buddy so don't you dare!" I shouted, everyone going silent as I stood my ground.

"You don't get to ask me why I did nothing for you when you have ignored me for the past few days, you weren't there for me," I spat out with venom as guilt flashed threw his eyes.

"Baby I-"

"Save it," I growled lowly, turning to my brothers who looked like them were going to break every bone in his body that Darien hadn't already, "take me home," I sighed, walking out of the room with them trailing behind me.

The ride home was much quicker as I sighed in relief when my home came into view. Getting out as quickly as I could as I all but ran into the warmth of my home, making a straight path to the kitchen.

Grabbing the bottle of wine from the fridge as I smiled to myself, frowning when it got snatched from my hand.

"Wine doesn't solve anything," Marcos grumbled, putting my wine back in the fridge as I pouted softly.

"No, it makes me forget," I sighed, my shoulders slumping as I was pulled into a tight hug between my two brothers.

"We love you so much," Marcio whispered, both pressing kisses on my forehead which was probably still stained with Dariens blood.

"Are you cheating on me?" a new voice interrupted us as I pulled away from the boys to look at the intruder.

Surprised at the gorgeous woman standing with my kitchen like a Greek goddess despite the tears falling down her face.

"I trusted you!" she cried, her lip trembling as the boys instantly let me go to rush to her side.

"Baby it isn't what you think," they pleaded as she glared at me through her tears.
