its been almost three days and jass was still at the hospital resting , sam has been going back and forth between the hospital and work and of course he has to go home so his grandmother wouldn't notice anything weird , and even the lee family has been staying with jass as much as possible , the doctor has finally given jasmine the okay for her discharge under the condition that she will be on absolute bed rest and that she will come back for her check up on time , so jasmine was sitting on her bed waiting for sam to come and pick her up , she had to pack her stuff and change her clothe but she wasn't allowed to walk around so she was sitting obediently waiting for him to come , after a couple of minutes sam came , he was wearing a black suit with a white shirt underneath 

"sorry baby , i got stuck at a meeting " sam said as he walked towards the bed and kissed jasmine's forehead 

"its okay , it must be hard for you to come and go like that " jass said as she caressed Sam's cheek with guilt in her eyes

"oh don't give me that look , its not your fault , and i am totally fine , its not hard at all , i am just taking care of my family " sam said as he held jass's hand in his 

"anyway , i asked Stefany to come and pick your stuff , while i help you change your clothe so i can take you home " sam said as he took his phone out 

"who is Stefany ?" jass asked with confusion all over her face  

"she is my assistant's assistants , or something like that" sam said as he called someone on the phone asking her to come in after she finishes 

"you got a new assistant ?" jass said with a look of sadness on her face , which made sam's heart ache 

"i am sorry love , but work is not an option for you right now , so i asked an old friend to find me  a good assistant so i can get by for now, Stefany is 35 year old and she is married and a mother and she worked for my friend for five years so i can trust her , i am sorry i didn't tell you but i don't want you worrying about this stuff right now" sam said as he sat beside jass on the bed and gently rubbed her flat stomach 

"its okay , i know that your doing this for us , but you have to know that i have no plans to stay at home for the rest of my life , i actually love my job " 

"i know , that's why i said my assistant's assistant , anyway lets take everything one step at a time , and the first step would be is helping you change so i can take you home " sam said as he stood and took some clothes that were ready from the side.

sam helped jasmine change her clothes and after that he and his new assistant helped her pack her stuff , after a couple of minutes a nurse came with a wheelchair with her so they wheel jasmine out 

"i cant believe i have to use that thing so i can move around " jass said as she looked at the wheelchair with hatred in her eyes , sam laughed as he walked towards jass 

"come on love let me help you " sam bent down so he can lifted jasmine , he held her in  his arms and walked towards the chair , sitting her down slowly 

"are you comfortable ?" jass nodded her head as she looked at sam with tenderness in her eyes 

"thank you " 

"don't thank me , its my pleasure , come on lets go " sam pushed jass's chair to leave the hospital ,behind them a man in black suit was walking  and he was holding a big bag that had jasmine's stuff , and beside him was a nurse that was holding a bag with medicine in it , they reached the car that was waiting at the entrance for them , the driver was waiting beside the car with the door open for them , sam stopped the chair in front of the opened door , and he bent down to left jass

"i can get in on my own sam " jasmine said while whining as she tried to get up 

"no way , i will do it, don't even think about moving  " he threatened her as he lifted her of the chair and putted her in the backseat of the car , after that he secured her with a the safety belt and behind her back he putted a pillow 

"are you comfortable like this ?" 

"yeah sam don't worry about it , its just a 15 minutes ride" jasmine said as she pulled Sam's hand so he can take a seat beside her  , but the whining didn't stop as sam was shouting at the poor driver every two seconds telling him to be carful on the bumps , telling him to slow down , and to stop for every possible car around them , so jasmine ended up going through a ride of hell and praying for it to end as soon as possible , all of a sudden something came to jasmine's mind 

"baby , what are we telling your grandmother , you know about the wheelchair and why i am staying with you all of a sudden?" jasmine asked sam as she looked at him while they held hands 

"i told her that you fell and cant move around that's why you have to stay in bed for the time being " sam said as he kissed jasmine's hand 

"i feel bad about lying to her , she is you family and she deserves to know" sam looked at her with sad eyes

"and so does your family" jasmine looked at him with shocked eyes 

"I...I don't know " jasmine didn't know what to say , she felt sad and guilty for hiding so many things from him 

"its okay love , you can tell me when you feel ready , no pressure " sam smiled and hugged her close to him to confront her 

"its not like that i don't want to talk about it , its just there is not much to say , my father never liked me since i was  his first born and i wasn't  a boy , and my mother is simple she cant say no to my father , so after my brother was born , it was almost as i didn't exist at all , the only person that actually cared about me was my grandmother and my little brother , so after my grandmother died i couldn't take it anymore , so i packed my bags and left , i only said goodbye to my brother , and since then i send my mom massages all the time but she doesn't answer all the time "  jasmine said with a sob while tears escaped her eyes , sam felt weak and helpless in front of her tears , so he hugged her close and patted her back and her hair

"don't cry love , its okay , you have me know , please don't cry , stress isn't good for you love" after a while jasmine pulled herself up and she looked at sam with a small sad smile 

"its okay , you know my little brother is called James and i call him Jamey , he is only 18 so when ever he has a chance he sends me massages and calls me to check on me , so its not that bad , he was always the only reason i wanted to stay in my hometown , but one day i just couldn't take it anymore and i left , but i meet the lee family and i found a loving family and warm home , and now i have you and this baby , i cant be more happy , but its true i should probably tell them , even though they will probably kill me " jass said as she laughed 

"what ? why ? wouldn't they be happy that they are gonna be grandparents?" sam asked with confusion all over his face

"my dad is quite religious so he believes that a woman must be married before getting pregnant that's why , but its okay , i don't care" jasmine said as she looked out of the window with a look of nostalgic at her face

"then lets do it" sam said all of a sudden 

"do what?" jasmine looked at him with a confused face

"lets get married"

"what? what are you talking about?"

"i am saying lets go and get married right now , i will call the civil affairs bureau and get them get our papers ready " sam said as he got his phone out of his pocket 

"wait , wait a second , are you serious ?" 

" i am dead serious love , i mean of course if you want to?"

"what do you mean ? do you want to get married , i mean we have been dating only for a couple of months ?"

"i didn't have any other plans other than to marry you jasmine , so if i do it now , or in a year , or in 15 years , your the only woman i want as my wife  and the mother of my children so if you say yes , i want to do it now , i want you to be my wife , i know that this is not the romantic proposal that you probably dreamed of but i will make it up to you i promise "  all of a sudden jasmine started crying as she felt overwhelmed all of a sudden 

"what's wrong love ? did i say something wrong? you don't have to say yes, just forget it " sam said as he throwed his phone away

"no! " jass said

"no???"

"no, i want to marry you , now , its definitely a yes " jasmine said as she whipped her tears

"are you sure?" 

"i am sure" jass nodded her head 

" drive to the civil affairs bureau" sam said to the driver as he took his phone out and called a friend of his and asked him to get all the papers ready in 5 minutes , and in an hour , it was done they were actually married 

sam stood at the entrance of the civil affairs bureau while holding jasmine in his hands (holding her like a princess) and he smiled at her as he kissed her slowly and gently devouring her lips and sucking her breath away 

"your mine MRS. Jasmine Xander" 

"i am all yours MR.Xander"
