You didn't think I would leave you all alone for Valentine's did you ;)

It was never the way she looked. Always the way she was. I could've fallen in love with my eyes closed. -Atticus

Athena's POV.

As I entered the en-suite, the taste of him heavily on my tongue as the dampness of my underwear shifted uncomfortably against me. Shedding the offending clothes, I quickly brushed my teeth before heading into shower with the hopes to wash the negativity of the morning away. Bristly towel drying, I made my way into the closet as Nico appeared stark naked in all his golden glory. Maintaining eye contact proved to be a difficult task as his unsmiling mouth searched my fathomless gaze.

"Wear something comfortable, we're going out." He said before disappearing presumably to shower as the loud spray sounds travelled through the room.

Searching through the many layers of clothing, I came upon a pretty white cotton short-sleeve wrap dress that was form fitted and reached mid-thigh. The puffy sleeves and frilled ending of the dress added a certain romance as I slipped on a pair of red strappy espadrilles that had a matching crotchet bag to go along with it. Pulling my hair into a messy ponytail and applying minimal makeup, I was finished just in time as Nico re-entered with droplets of water dripping down his toned abs and a low slung towel that threatened to come apart as his eyes gave away his thoughts as he took in my appearance. Trying to maintain a calamity had proven futile as my heated cheeks gave away to my erotic thoughts. As if reading my mind, a naughty smirk kissed the corner of his swollen mouth as I prepared to exit.

As if thinking the better of it, he slowly prowled across the room, placing a delicate kiss to my neck as my breath hitched in my throat.

"I would do it again to." He whispered against my ear before casually strolling away to get dress.

In no time he joined me in the bedroom as I slipped my cellphone into my bag. For the first time I had seen him in casual attire and even now, looking at him, he was as delectably charming as he was in a three piece suit. Dressed in a pair of denim cutoffs and a black and white stripped short sleeve shirt opened low to reveal his golden chest, he looked like one of those models who often graced the covers of glossy magazines.

"Don't." He whispered through clench teeth as a muscle in his jaw ticked.

Coming to stand in front me, I caught a whiff of his cologne as it enveloped around us. Pulling me up against his hardened body I felt his swollen bulge, encompassed in the tight jeans pressed against my stomach. Bringing his next hand up to my neck, he held me still as the depth of his stare left me squirming in his hold.

"Do not look at me like that and expect me to not throw you down and make love to you until tomorrow morning. When I look at you, it is all I can think about. Because agape mou, I feel the exact same way you feel about me. Every. Single. Emotion. And that is the one thing I expect you to understand."

Pulling away, he made his way back into the closet leaving me reeling as I stared at his retreating back burning from the inside.

Before I had time to analyze his statement, or even summon the courage to question him further he wordlessly handed me a pair of sunglasses that I tucked into my bag as he enveloped my hands in his and we exited the room, retracing our steps from the previous night and joining the almost full table in the garden. The pool sparkled a crystal color under the warm sun as a few of the guests cooled down. At the table, Evelyn and Lucas, along with Katy and Ethan sat enjoying breakfast as we joined them.

"Buongiorno." Evelyn greeted cheerily with a huge smile on her face spotting us first as she sat back caressing her pregnant belly as everyone else greeted.

"My sister thinks she's Italian now." Joked Ethan.

"Oh shut up Etty." She muttered, "For years you thought you were the extra power ranger." As we all laughed at the sibling bantering.

"That is more realistic than thinking that I could have driven a new Ferarri like Batman and then spending the weekend in the hospital." Ethan mocked Nico's way.

"I still think I can." He shot back defending himself.

"Were you hurt badly?" I questioned traumatized from the mental image.

"Barely a scratch." He grinned proudly.

"The car was an entirely different story." Lucas added grimacing.

"You did way worst to my car." Nico said to Lucas as Evelyn rolled her eyes at me.

"Boys and their toys." She said, "Get used to it."

"So driving my Lamborghini like hell was chasing you was payback?" Lucas questioned.

"I returned her without a scratch." Nico smirked, "You fucked up a classic."

"It was a race and I won." Dillon said appearing from the graveled steps with Theo in hand, "That was most important."

"How was that most important?" Ethan asked, "You only won because you cheated."

"No I did not." Dillon replied hotly.

"You were the one who hit me." Lucas said explaining.

"The road was narrow; beside if we have a next race I would win again." Dillon replied shrugging as he threw Theo into the air. His high pitch giggles of joy became infectious as I zoned out from the banter to look at him.

"Surely, you four are not stupid enough to do that." Evelyn said glaring at them as Lucas grinned in reply placing a swift kiss to her cheek.

"We are." Ethan replied earning him a quizzical look from Katy.

"So when are you two getting married?" Evelyn questioned as we began breakfast.

"Evelyn!" Lucas admonished as she scowled cutely at him.

Just then Jade joined in, squealing joyously, "You have to let me design your wedding dress Athena!" She pleaded dripping in water from the pool as she joined us.

"Here we go." Muttered Nico.

"I heard that." She huffed out.

"Oh my God!" Charlotte squealed from the pool, "You can design a little suit for Theo to wear." As Evelyn awed in returned.

"Be careful Athena." Winked Ethan, "Any second now and they'll have you arrested with them."

A chorus of 'shut up Ethan' were heard from the girls as I laughed at their antics.

"Will you wear a suit to Uncle Zeus' wedding?" Cooed Dillon at Theo as the toddler grinned up at him before squirming to get down.

"Excuse my mate Athena that is the result of too much Tropicana." Ethan said to me in a stage whisper as Dillon rolled his eyes.

As Theo dashed around us happily, Nico suddenly shot forward scooping the toddler into his arms. The sight left me winded as the unexpected notion tugged at my heart strings. They were obviously fans of each other as the toddler gazed adoringly up at Nico before he became enraptured tugging at his sunglasses to which Nico gave no fuss.

"Will you like some juice Theo?" His mother questioned across the table as he paused from his ongoing task to tease her as the table erupted into laughter.

"I can't believe he picked that up." Nico grinned down at him as he caressed his curly brandy-colored hair so similar to his father's.

"You thought it to him after all." Ethan said as he handed me a baby cup.

"Will you like this?" I gently asked as he peered up at me.

Outstretching his chubby little arms, Nico smiled warmly at me as I took him placing the cup into his mouth.

"You would make great parents one day." Evelyn with a soft smile as Nico regarded me with an indecipherable look.

The thought of Nico's babies gave rise to unwanted thoughts as internally I knew that I had desperately wished to be the woman to birth them.

"We do need more little Hercules running around." Dillon, as humorous as ever commented dragging me away from my sullen thoughts.

"And when are we expecting a missus from you?" Questioned Evelyn mischievously.

"Eve, my dear." He began, "You should know that Duke Dillon stands alone. After all my best mates did leave me to form the newly wedded club for grooms."

"Well join us." Lucas mocked arching a dark brow at him.

"The only thing I'm joining is the wall of fame when I win tomorrow." Dillon replied proudly.

"We'll see about that." Nico answered as he rose.

"Shall we go?" He directed towards me.

Nodding, I followed suit, returning Theo to Katy as Nico once again enveloped my hands. The action did not go unnoticed as his friends looked on with an odd smile to their faces.

"Where are you off to?" Evelyn asked.

"It's a surprise for Athena." He grinned back at her as he winked at me.

"Oh!" I exclaimed in astonishment.

Fishing a pair of keys from his pockets, Lucas threw it across the table as Nico effortlessly caught it.

"Be careful with her!" He warned.

"I'm sure you'll survive." Evelyn said to him dryly as I giggled at the pair.

Smoothly reversing through the wrought iron gates, Nico carefully navigated the car through the narrow roads. Unlike the previous day, he drove at leisure enjoying the music that crooned softly through the speakers while the cool air conditioned helped cope with the heat. In a short time, we retraced the path we had taken to enter the mansion as he swerved onto the tarmac effectively parking the sportscar. Jumping out, he made his way to my side, as he opened the door offering me his hand as he helped me out.

"Come along." He said guiding me towards the steps of the large white aircraft imprinted Demachelis & Co across the sides.

"Where are we going?" I questioned.

"It's a surprise." He replied in a carefree manner that was so unlike him it was hard not be a part of such a moment.

Stepping into the jet, as luxurious as ever, with its rich cream and grey interior, I took a seat as Nico came beside me. The jet soon taxied of the runway as the airhostess bought out a bottle of exquisite champagne.

"What shall we toast to?" He murmured.

"To a good day?" I asked clicking my glass against his.

"To a good day..." He replied, "It certainly was a...pleasurable start." He added in winking at me delighting in the way my cheeks heated.

A little over an hour later, the aircraft descended once again as we paused our on-going conversation to remove the seatbelts.

"Welcome to Venice." He whispered in my ear placing a gentle swift kiss to my cheek as he pulled back to gauge my stunned reaction on the threshold of the stairs.

I had to hold on to the handle for good measure as my body rocked with evident surprise.

"The jet is at your disposal, we can leave if you wish to go elsewhere." He said softly as I still had not spoken.

I found words hard to escape me as I did the one thing I had desperately wanted to do which best described my emotions. I leapt into his arms as he enveloped me into a strong embrace. Tears welled beneath my eyelids from the overwhelming emotions that tumbled within me.

"Thank you." I said against his neck as he slowly slid me down his body.

Capturing my chin between his thumb and forefinger he angled my face towards his.

"You deserve the world angel mou and I fully intend to give it to you." He said seriously as his words cemented his earlier confession.

"Nico..." I intended to ask what exactly he meant by that statement as he cut me of leading me down the staircase and into an awaiting car.

As the driver drove throughout the city, Nico's words niggled though the back of my head but the scenery was to captivating to pay heed to anything else at the moment. The monumental historic buildings, the busy filled streets and the locals shopping about were a joy to witness I had not notice that the car had pulled to a stop until Nico demanded my attention.

"Are you coming out angel mou?" He questioned confused as to why I was still seated.

Being the gentleman as always, he offered me his hand as we browsed the streets, with me in total awe of every moment until we came to a stop in front of a river filled with hundreds of Gondolas.

"Are you ready?" He questioned already knowing the answer from my awestruck expression. Gently cruising along the canal for the next hour left me giddy with happiness and just when I thought it could not have gotten any better, we spent the next couple hours touring Saint Marks Square, visiting the Basilica of San Marco, indulging in some light shopping and to my ultimate surprise, Nico pulled out a camera determined to capture every single moment. Stopping for a light lunch at a luxurious Hotel that I later found out was owned by Dillon, we continued on as Nico insisted he once again had me blind folded as he led me along the cobbled streets.

"We're almost there." He insisted as anticipation sang in my veins.

Coming to a sudden halt, he pulled the cover away from my eyes as the tears I kept away now flowed freely.

"Angel mou." He whispered softly, "Don't cry." He coaxed as he gently wiped the tears away and guided me along the path to the most famous landmark.

"Welcome to case de Julietta." He said grinning down at me as I gazed in wonderment at the breathtakingly gorgeous building.

"Let's go in." He said leading me in as my foot seemed to be rooted to the floor.

A tour guide came our way, clearing out the tourist as he guided us inside up onto the world famous balcony. I was stunned.

Looking into Nico's smiling face as he chatted with the tour guide made me fall deeper in love with him all over again. It was him who shattered my heart into irreparable pieces but maybe that was how it should have been all along. He was the one who knew how to fix. Catching my gaze across the balcony he winked playfully at me as hope blossomed in my heart once again spreading warmth throughout my body.

"Would you like to write a letter to Juliet agape mou?" He questioned coming over to me as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

It should not have felt immensely good for him to ignore me and be his love again.

And yet it did.

"Hmm..." I thought aloud as I tilted my head to have a look at him, "I think I have my answers already."

Placing a kiss onto my nose, we toured the historical city for a bit more before boarding the jet again. Making a quick stop in Rome, Nico insisted I visited the Trevi fountain as I made my wish before we returned to the tarmac.

Sometime later in the afternoon, we returned to the mansion, after stopping in the famous Naples square for a taste of their world renowned pizza and Neapolitan gelato to everyone awaiting us as we were to spent the remainder of the day cruising along the Coast to get to the island of Capri.

It was an unforgettable day filled with endless laughter, memories and love as I sat between Nico's firm thighs, enveloped in his strong arms as the yacht sailed along the blue waters.
