On Sunday morning I am woken by Landon leaving feather light kisses on my neck. I wrap my arms around him. He moves his mouth to my lips and he claims them. His lips are soft and I pull him on top of me.

There's banging on the bedroom door. "Get out of bed! We want to take the boat out today."

I moan.

I don't want to get out bed and entertain my family. Why couldn't we come here alone?

"Next time we aren't bringing my family. I want to spend time with you."

He laughs. "Okay, I just thought you'd like to spend time with them."

I nod. "I do. Just when I invite them. I was hoping to have this beautiful house with you alone this 4th July weekend."

"I'm sorry." He pulls the covers off me and looks at my ankle.

"How is your ankle?"

I shrug. "I don't know. Why don't you have a look at it?"

Landon moves down the bed and he looks at my ankle. He touches a spot.

I flinch. "That hurts."

He messages it and I lean my head back against the headboard. He kisses my ankle. "We should get out of bed. I want to spend a couple of hours on the lake."

I climb out of the bed and I put weight on my ankle. "Ouch!" I lean on the bed.

Landon moves over to me and he leans down. "Hop on back and I'll take you downstairs."

I wrap my arms around his neck and he carries me down the stairs. He stops near the kitchen table and he puts me down.

I sit at the table. "Thanks, Landon." I blow him a kiss.

He turns to me. "What do you want for breakfast?"

"I'll eat whatever you're cooking."

Landon cracks some eggs and puts them in a bowl. He pulls out a whisk and he whisks them. He turns on the frying and puts the eggs in it. He puts a couple of slices of bread in the toaster.

My brother's enter the kitchen.

Robbie sits next to me. "Morning, sis. How is your ankle this morning?"

"It's still sore."

He rises and walks over to the freezer. He pulls out an ice pack and he wraps it in a towel. He brings the ice pack to me. "You need to ice it again."

I put the pack on my ankle.

Landon places my breakfast in front of me. "Breakfast is served." He kisses me on the cheek. "Do you guys want scrambled eggs?"

"Yes." My brother's chorus.

Sasha enters the kitchen with Dimitri. She sits across from me. "Good morning." She looks at Landon. "What are we doing today?"

"We're taking the boat out." Landon says.

Dimitri looks at the group. "I haven't been out on a boat without a security team on board. I'm looking forward to this."

The poor President's son. At least he's experience something else. But, I'm sure they will be close by to watch over him.

I look out the window. "They will follow us across the lake."

Dimitri nods. "They take their job seriously. My father is the most respectable man in the country, with that being said he has enemies. Which is why our body guards have increased."

After breakfast Landon carries me up the stairs to our room. He places me on the bed. "What do you want to wear?"

"The yellow sundress and I need my bikini."

He walks over to the cupboard and he pulls my things out for me. He places them on the bed for me.

I get changed.

Landon pulls on his costumes and a pair of board shorts. He walks over to me. "Get on my back."

I shake my head. "You're going to wear a shirt. If you don't I'm not going on the boat." I cross my arms.

He chuckles. "Are you jealous of these girls?"

"No, I just want you to be covered until we go swimming. I don't like the idea of other woman looking at my husband."

He kisses my cheek. "Okay, I'll put the shirt on." He walks over to the cupboard and he pulls out a white t-shirt that says 'Stud Muffin."

I laugh. "I can't believe you kept the Valentine's present from three years ago."

He smiles. "I kept everything I shared with you. I put it in a box in the attic. I was going to bring it down once I had you in my arms again." He puts the shirt on.

I climb onto his back.

He carries me down the stairs.

Sasha is standing next to the stairs. She turns to Dimitri. "Why don't you carry me like that?"

Dimitri shrugs. "I don't want to hurt the baby."

She pouts. "You're not going to hurt the baby. Please, carry me?"

I laugh. "You better do as she says. I wouldn't want to deal with her."

Sasha smiles. "Thanks, sis." She climbs on his back and he carries her outside.

Landon carries me to the boat.

Robbie helps me into the boat and carries me to a seat.

I could get used to this.

Robbie moves back to the side of the boat and he helps Sasha in.

Sasha hugs him. "Thank you, bro." she walks over to me.

The guys load the boat with three huge coolers.

This lot want to get wasted.

Robbie's girlfriend and her friends climb on the boat and they glare at me.

What is there problem this morning?

Sasha leans into me. "Our brother's dumped the girls. Robbie is still dating that girl."

Why would he still want to be with her?

I look at the girls. "Robbie, can do better. I just wish someone would talk to him about the girls he brings home."

She laughs. "I tried. He doesn't listen to me."

Logan moves over to us. He looks at me. "What are you talking about?"

Sasha whispers. "About how Robbie can do better than that girl."

He nods. "He can. I wish sometimes he would pay attention the type of woman he brings home. I want him to be happy."

I turn to him. "Have you found the right woman?"

He looks away from me. "There's this one girl I like. She works in the office I frequently visit. I don't think she notices me."

I put my hand on his arm. "She notices. Maybe, she's waiting for you to ask her out. Next time you go to the office ask her out for a coffee. Start off small and then take her to dinner. If she rejects you, she either has a boyfriend or she's just not into you."

He hugs me. "Thanks, sis. I'm glad you're back. I've missed my little sister. It's my fault you were taken."

What?

I frown. "How was it your fault, Logan?"

He looks at me. "I was supposed to look after you and my brother's. All I wanted to do at the fair was play games. I left my brothers and you alone, while Mum and Dad went to get some coins for the games."

Logan has tears pouring down his face. He wipes them away. "Can you forgive me?"

I throw myself into his arms and hug him. "It's not your fault, Logan. Who would have thought someone would take a child?"

I have tears running down my face.

Landon looks over. "Who made her cry? I'll kick your arse."

I laugh. "No-one needs an arse kicking, Landon. Be nice to my brother's."

He sighs. "Fine, are you all ready to spend the day on the lake?"

"Yes,"

"Good, Adam can you throw in the rope in the before you climb aboard?"

Adam salutes. "Yes, captain."

We laugh.

Adam throws the rope on the boat and he climbs on. He moves over to Sasha. "Does anyone want a drink?"

"I'll take a beer brother." I say.

Adam opens the esky and he passes me a beer.

I take it from him. "Thanks," I limp up the stairs to Landon.

Landon turns towards me. "Come here." He reaches out for me and I walk into his arms. He wraps his free arm around my waist."

I hold the bottle out to him. "Do you want some?"

He takes the bottle from me and takes a drink. He gives it back to me. "Can you get someone to bring me a bottle of water?"

I limp to the stairs. "Can someone pass me a bottle of water?"

Adam goes through the esky and pulls out a bottle of water. He throws it at me and I catch it. "Nice, catch."

I limp over to Landon and give him the water.

Landon pulls me onto his lap. "Do you want to drive?"

I nod.

He tell me where to place my hands and where I need to keep the boat as I drive across the lake. "You're a natural."

I smile. "I'm glad you think so." I point to the sand in the middle of the lake. "Are we going there?"

He nods. "When I was younger my friends and I used to take our dingy's out here. I remember this one time when I was here my friends and I watched as the lake rose and covered the sand while we were on it. We had problems getting in the dingy's. When we were in them a storm blew over and the lake was like an ocean and we got tossed around. The other dingy capsized and I jumped in the lake and turned it back over. I helped all four of them in. Then I swum over to mine and my friends helped me back in. When we made it back to the wharf my parents were there with other worried parents and they all ran over and gave us hugs. The police, ambulance, fire brigade and the search rescue were there also."

I laugh. "I wish I was there to see that."

Landon kisses my neck. He points to the boat next to ours. "The boat next to ours is the paparazzi."

I turn to him. "How do they know we're here?"

He shrugs. "I don't know."

I hear someone climb the steps and I turn to the new comer. "Hey, Dimitri."

He smiles. "Did you tip off the paparazzi?"

I shake my head. "We wouldn't do that, Dimitri. We like our privacy just like you."

Dimitri points to the girls. "Do you think they told anyone?"

I nod. "Those girls spend all their time on social media sites so I wouldn't be surprised if they blabbed about the people they were spending the July fourth weekend."

He looks at me. "I can't wait for them to go home tomorrow. I was relieved when they said that they want to go home to watch the fireworks."

The boat starts to rock and I feel the wind against my skin. It's not a cold wind it's a warm one.

The boat stops and Landon turns to me. "Can I take my shirt off now?"

I nod. "I'll take it off for you."

"Can't you wait for me to leave?" Dimitri says,

I laugh.

I lift the hem of Landon's shirt over his head and I throw it on the ground.

He moves to the hem of my yellow sundress and pulls it over my head. He climbs down the stairs and throws the anchor in the water. He climbs out of the boat and stands in the water. "Pass me the esky."

Adam lifts up the esky and he carries it to the side of the boat. He gives it to Landon.

I hold onto the bars and limp my way down the stairs.

Everyone climbs off the boat.

When I get to the side of the boat Landon is there to help me. He carries me to the sand.

I open the esky and search for a bottle of water. I stick my hand in the ice cold esky and I pull out a bottle.

We spent the morning and afternoon eating, drinking and swimming.

At 4pm, Landon looks at the group. "We need to leave. I hope you all enjoyed your day at my secret place."

"It's not a secret if the locals know about it. Now, the paparazzi know about it since someone mentioned they were with the Lambert kids, Landon Parker and Dimitri Bennett." I glare at the girls. "Do you know who leaked this to them?"

Robbie's girlfriend rises. "I told them. I was hoping you would do something stupid. So, I could make some money from knowing you. But, you are a lot smarter than I gave you credit for."

I never trusted you.

The next thing I see is Sasha on top of the girl and she slaps her.

Go, sis!

Adam tries to pull Sasha off the girl. He looks at me for help. "Are you going to help me?"

Nah, Sasha's got this.

"No, I told her if she wanted to hit them I wouldn't have a problem with it. I've wanted to beat there arse since they stepped foot in the house." I move closer to my sister.

Robbie's girlfriend hits Sasha in the face.

I pull Sasha off the girl.

That girl isn't going to get away with hurting my sister. I need to take care of my sister first.

I take Sasha over to the esky and ice her face.

My hair gets pulled and I turn to the girl pulling it. I shove her to the ground and kick her in the stomach. "Can we leave, Landon?"

Landon pulls me into his arms and he helps me onto the boat. He climbs on and pulls Sasha up. Dimitri and my brothers climb onto the boat.

Landon pulls the anchor up and he walks up the stairs and starts the boat.

The girls glare at us. "You can't leave us here."

Robbie looks at his girlfriend. "Yeah, we can. I'm breaking up with you. You shouldn't have laid a hand on my pregnant sister and my twin." He wraps his arm around my shoulder.

Landon pulls the boat away and takes us back to the lake house.

***

At the lake house my brother's pack the girl's bags and they throw them on the lawn. Robbie looks at the group. "I'm sorry I brought them this weekend." He moves over to the lounge and places his head in his hands.

I move over to him and hug him. "You didn't know she was that type of woman. The one that would use you and turn to the paparazzi for money and share embarrassing stories with them about our family. I'm glad you know." I look at Landon. "Can you carry me upstairs? I want to lie down for a bit."

Landon carries me bridal style up the stairs. He kicks the bedroom door shut and lies me on the bed. He covers me and climbs in next to me. He pulls me into his arms. "I love you, Kay."

"I love you, too, Landon."

I fall asleep in his arms.
