Mmm waking up to Rhyne's body was a gift from the gods. After our quick lovemaking I turned to face him kissing his lips. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he pulled our naked bodies close together. I felt his thick member at my belly hardening at our closeness. I pulled back.

"Again Rhy already?" I was amazed at his stamina. "Fuck yes I want you again. And again after that." I kissed him and lifted my legs to wrap them around him granting him access. He took me again and then again after that keeping his promise before we both fell asleep again holding each other.

It was past nine when I woke up to an empty bed. It was cold without Rhyne and I grew saddened thinking he didn't want to be here when I woke. I knew about his string of one nights stands after overhearing a conversation between my dad and Parker about it.

Even though I had told Lizzie that's all I wanted it had been a lie. And after the past few weeks working closely with Rhyne I gained added respect for him that only further solidified my feelings.

He was a smart, ruthless business man, but he appreciated his staff and outside the office he was thoughtful and always kind. I learned about his favorite foods and where he had traveled. He told me all the places he wanted to go still. We laughed over our dumb inside jokes. But mostly I felt safe in his presence and last night he was patient and gentle with me kissing away my pain as we came together.

I would deal with the repercussions of sleeping with my dads best friend later and that only really mattered if he wanted me for longer than last night.

The bedroom door opened halting my thoughts and Rhy walked in carrying a tray full of food.

"You're awake baby. Good I brought you breakfast." I smiled big as he made his way to bed. He set the tray on the nightstand and got under the covers pulling me in for a kiss. I pressed my breasts against his bare chest and he broke off separating our bodies. I frowned.

"Lex If I don't stop now I'll take you again and your breakfast will be cold." He gave me sexy smirk.

"I don't care about breakfast Rhy" I leaned I kissing him again.

"Mmm Lex there's plenty of time for that. I promise" he leaned over and placed a steaming stack of pancakes and fruit in front of me. My stomach growled from the scent making us both laughed.

We shared my pancakes and snuck kisses in between bites. We laughed and talked about little things like our favorite movies and fondest memories. It was an amazing Sunday morning.

After breakfast Rhyne got serious suddenly. "Alexis I want to talk about something." Anxiety filled my gut and I regretted still being naked if this was him about to let me down gently.

"Sure" I choked a little as I said it and he gave me a weird look. He took my hands in his.

"You ok?" I nodded yes before he continued "anyways what I wanted to say was I don't do relationships Alexis. I never have before and— "

I cut his words off before he could finish standing quickly taking the sheet with me to cover my body. He stared at me surprised by my actions.

"Look Rhyne I'm a big girl you don't have to let me down easy ok." Tears threatened to spill out but I held them back.

"Hold on wait just second Lex"

I headed for the door but Rhyne caught me before I could make my dramatic exit. He turned me to face him and kissed me hard wrapping his arms around me and the sheet I was holding. My body turned to jello in his arms. I cursed my body, the traitorous thing couldn't even keep it together mad. Rhyne pulled back looking into my eyes.

"Dammit woman you didn't let me even finish!"

"I know what you're going to say! You were going to tell me last night was great but that's all it was."

"Jesus is that what you think of me?"

"Yes! No! I don't know! it's just it's what I've heard. I'm sorry I'm scared because of the feelings I have for you!" I blurted out the last part and covered my mouth. I had laid my cards out on the table. Fuck it.

Rhyne smiled big at me. The jerk. "Well before you took off like a bat out of hell, I was going to say that I want that with you. A relationship I mean. Lex I love you. I've never felt about anyone the way I feel about you. And I probably won't be any good at any of this but I want to try with you. Stay with me. Marry me Lex."

My eyes widened as I registered the words he was saying. The tears sprang to my eyes again but this time they were of happiness. I let go of the sheet to wrap my arms around his neck, kissing him hard. He picked me up and I wrapped my legs around his body as he carried me back to bed. He laid me down and showered my body with kisses. He nestled between my legs opening them wide for him and he entered me slowly.

"My sweet baby, I love you" he moved pumping into me slowly loving me with his body. He kissed everywhere his lips could reach. And whispered his love and admiration in my ears as he thrust into me slowly. My hands roamed his body as he moved feeling every inch within my own reach. I loved our bodies together moving in perfect synchrony. My body began tighten around him and he pumped quicker.

"Come baby, let me feel it" I came as he followed. Tears escaping my eyes as we came together. Rhyne kissed my tears and loved my lips with his as he softened inside me before pulling out.

"So does that mean yes?"
