Blaze's POV

I was in a meeting with an Italian businessman when I noticed my phone was ringing. It was on silent. It was from home. Instantly, I grabbed my phone.

"Excuse me, just a minute." I left the conference room as I picked up my phone.

I was worried about Ashley. Her due date was so close. The doctor told us that she was going to go into labor in a few days.

"Blaze, help!" She begged as soon as I picked up my phone.

"Baby, what happened?" I asked anxiously.

"Blaze, my water broke." As she told me about it, I froze in my place.

"Fuck! I am coming. I will call an ambulance and your doctor." I said and hung up while I rushed towards the exit.

I called her doctor and informed her. She told me she was going to the mansion. I called Damian and told him to go beside Ashley.

I was driving like hell. I couldn't remember how I had left the company.

Finally, I arrived. I got out of the car and rushed into the mansion.

"Ashley!" I called her as I rushed in.

I stopped as I saw her in blood sitting on the floor. My face went white.

As I pulled myself together, I rushed towards her.

"Ashley." I held her hand.

"Blaze...blood...." She muttered, crying as she looked at her legs.

I gulped and informed. "The doctor is coming." I placed my hand on her stomach.

Damian rushed towards us, holding a glass of water in his hand.

"Sir." He greeted me as he handed the glass to Ashley. I grabbed the glass and helped her to drink.

"Ahhh." She screamed in pain, pressing her hand onto her stomach.

I stroked her hair, holding her hand. She was squeezing my hand. I couldn't bear to see her in pain.

"Where is the damn ambulance?!" I hissed.

"Blaze!" She squeezed my hand as she felt another pain.

"Inhale and exhale, baby. Don't be afraid. It will pass. Think about our Aspen. Holding him in your arms." I was talking to her, trying to help her as much as possible.

Suddenly, I heard sirens.

"Finally!" I exclaimed.

They rushed inside. The doctor approached us and checked up Ashley. I was looking at Ashley, frightened while stroking her hair.

"She is in labor. We can not take her to the hospital in this state." The doctor said.

I looked at Ashley, trying not to show my anxiety.

"Help me to take her to a bedroom." The doctor said.

I nodded as I scooped Ashley up in my arms and carried her to my bedroom. It was the nearest room. I placed her on the bed.

"Blaze." She grabbed my hand as she looked at me, scared.

I bent down beside her and kissed her knuckles.

"Everything will be fine. I love you, baby." I said as I held her hand in my hands.

"I love you too." She said.

I was bending in front of my bedroom, leaning my back against the wall. The doctor told me to wait outside. They were inside for more than three hours. I was so anxious. Her screams were coming from the room. I was praying for Ashley and my son.

I stood up, scared as the voices stopped. There were no her screams nor baby cries. I couldn't wait anymore. I rushed inside.

I smiled happily as I heard the baby cry. My son. I looked at him, mesmerized. My tiny boy. I couldn't hold my tears. I looked at Ashley, the only love of my life, my woman, the mother of my son. Our eyes met. She gave me her dazzling smile.

The nurse gave me my son. I held him in my arms carefully. He was so tiny.

"Hi, Aspen. I am your father." I murmured, stroking his chubby cheek with my thumb. I kissed his cheek.

I couldn't describe how I was feeling. It was the most magical moment in my entire life.

I looked at Ashley. She was looking at us, smiling happily. I smiled at her and gave her our little boy. She took him carefully. I sat down beside her on the bed as I placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.

"Hey, my Aspen." She said as she kissed our baby's little hand. She looked at me happily.

"I love you. I love you. I love you." I repeated while placing kisses on her lips. "Thank you, baby. Thank you for everything you gave me." I kissed her forehead as I wrapped my arm around her shoulder.

She leaned her head against me while stroking Aspen's hand.

Ashley's POV

I was holding my baby in my arms. I was so happy. I stroked his little fingers while looking at him.

Blaze wrapped his arm around me while we were watching our little boy. He was so cute.

"We should take both of you to the hospital." The doctor said.

Blaze nodded as he stood up. The nurse took my son.

We were in the hospital. The doctor checked up my son and me. Everything was normal. My boy was healthy.

Blaze was sitting beside me, his arm wrapped around me. He was stroking Aspen's hand. Aspen was sleeping in my arms peacefully.

My little angel.

"He is our masterpiece." Blaze winked at me as he gave me an arrogant grin.

I smiled at him, shaking my head. "You are hopeless." I kissed his lips. "But I love you." I added.

He chuckled. "I love you too." He brushed his lips against mine.

Patricia walked in, smiling happily. "Where is my grandson?" She asked. "Aww." She looked at him in awe.

"Hey, little boy." She said as she held him in her arms. "He looks like you, Blaze. I remembered your birth. You were so tiny like him."

I looked at Blaze. He held my hand, looking at me happily.

"He is so cute." She said in awe. "You will be so handsome, will you not?" Patricia cooed Aspen, caressing his hand.

"Of course, he will be. I worked hard." Blaze said arrogantly.

"Blaze!" I warned him as my cheeks flushed. He shrugged his shoulders, giving me a sheepish look.

Patricia laughed at us, shaking her head. "Aspen, what are we going to do with your arrogant father?" She cooed Aspen, smiling at him.

"Mom!" Blaze exclaimed. He looked childish and cute.

I couldn't hold myself and laughed.
