Blaze's POV

I was frustrated after I had heard about the name. Why Aspen? Like there are not other names in the world, they want to name their son Aspen. I was holding myself hard not to shatter the house. I couldn't understand Ashley anymore. She is up to something, but what? Thinking about it was going to make me insane. I was bored of her little games.

When she wanted to walk away, I rushed towards her and stopped her by grabbing her wrist. She turned around and looked at me, annoyed. But I didn't give attention to it.

She has to give me an explanation. And now!

I released her wrist as I asked, looking into her eyes. "Why Aspen?" I asked.

She averted her gaze. I sighed and placed my thumb under her chin as I lifted her head up, letting our eyes meet.

"Why Aspen?" I repeated, emphasizing each word.

I barely controlled my voice. But I knew I should keep my calm, otherwise I couldn't get my answer.

She pulled her head away and crossed her arms over her chest. "It is none of your business, Blaze. What we want to name our baby we will do." She said indifferent, without looking into my eyes.

I breathed deeply as I clenched my fist. "It is none of my business?! Yeah, of course. As if my ex-girlfriend wants to name her child Aspen, in honor of the place where I took her virginity and where we have spent the most beautiful days, including passionate nights. Yeah, really why am I asking?!" I barked at her without controlling my anger anymore. "Oh, and I forget to mention that the father of the baby is my brother." I added, giving her a mocking smirk.

She sighed. "Blaze, please...stop it. I am really tired of all of these." She gave me a begging look.

"Me too, Ashley. I am tired of your little games. What are you planning? To send me a psychiatric hospital?! I should inform you that you are going to bear fruit if you keep on in this way." I snarled.

She breathed deeply as she said. "We like this name. That is all. Nothing special." She looked at me indifferent.

With these words she scattered my heart again and again. Didn't she understand that I am human too and I have damn feelings too?! I hate myself for being in love with her. I was a total fool for thinking that she was different. I thought she was an angel. My innocent angel. But she was a devil in the form of an angel.

"Yeah...nothing special for you." I said bitterly, looking into her eyes. She looked away, biting her lower lip nervously. "Then if you need a name for your other children, tell me. I will fuck you where you want. Just ask me." I insulted her, giving her a sarcastic smirk.

She looked at me angrily. Her face flushed with anger. She slapped me across my face.

I gritted my teeth with anger. I closed my eyes, trying to calm down.

Calm down, Blaze! I repeated with my inner voice.

"I like when you are feisty." I muttered seductively as I opened my eyes. She gave me a dirty look.

I shook my head, smirking sarcastically. I gave her an insolent look and left.

Ashley's POV

I was caressing my bump, looking at myself in the mirror. I was seven months pregnant now. I was expecting a boy. He was healthy. The doctor told me the risk had passed.

I was so excited. I couldn't wait to hold my little boy, Aspen in my arms.

Everyone kept on saying my stomach was big, because they thought I was five months pregnant. Before James told his parents, we had decided to lie to them about how far along I was.

After my so-called conversation with Blaze, we had been avoiding each other as much as possible.

In every conversation, we had been trying to hurt each other again and again. Like it would help us to decrease the pain that we felt. We made each other suffer with our hurtful words knowingly.

I grabbed my bag and left. I went shopping. I had been preparing for my baby's arrival.

I walked into the mall and went to the baby shop. There were a lot of cute clothes, toys and other stuff. All of them were so beautiful, I couldn't decide which one to buy.

I bought different clothes: shirts, pants, mittens, rompers, shoes and toys. Afterwards, I went to buy some maternity clothes for myself. Then I went home.

When I arrived, it was already evening. I took a quick shower. After getting ready, I went downstairs.

After having dinner, I went to rest a little. I got so tired today. My feet were sore.

I got up as I was craving for strawberries. I went to the kitchen. The housekeeper gave me some strawberries. They looked so delicious. I started eating them. I closed my eyes while tasting them.

When I was going to my room, I noticed Blaze in the living room sitting alone. I walked closer to him. He was sipping his whiskey, staring into space. As much as my brain was telling me not to go, I didn't listen to it and decided to join him.

When he noticed me, he didn't say anything. His expression was gloomy. I sat beside him on the couch without saying anything.

Suddenly, I felt a baby kick in my stomach. I smiled as I placed my hand on my stomach, caressing it. A few seconds later, he kicked again.

Blaze lifted his head up and looked at me in an inquiring expression, trying to understand why I was smiling.

"He kicked." I said, smiling.

His face lit up as he placed his glass down on the centre table. He looked at me as he gestured to my bump asking for my permission. His eyes were shining. I nodded, smiling.

He placed his hand on my stomach, caressing it gently as he said joyfully. "Hey, Aspen."

I felt another kick. I looked at Blaze, grinning. He lifted his gaze up, looking into my eyes happily while smiling ear-to-ear, his hand still on my stomach.

Our eyes met. I lost in my favourite shades of green. There were a few inches between us. He leaned his face closer to mine. I closed my eyes.
