"Drive safe!" I can hear Hoseok yell as he and Libby stand outside their house, waving. I drive out of their driveway while Jimin and Taehyung wave goodbye to them.

Although we all went to bed relatively late last night, we were all able to wake up on time to hit the road at 4am. Hoseok and Libby also woke up to see us off. Taehyung, Jimin and I profusely thanked the couple for their hospitality. It was such a last minute trip and we were grateful to them for opening up their home to us.

Since Jimin is a night owl, he was still super exhausted and I felt really energized when I woke up, I volunteered to drive first. Me being upbeat in the morning could be because I was in a great mood after the tantalizing night Taehyung and I had.

He made me feel amazing last night.

Taehyung accompanied me by sitting in the passenger seat, and we let Jimin lay in the seat behind us so he can catch up on more sleep.

I drove for almost four hours, having made a restroom stop at a gas station two hours into me driving. After my shift, Taehyung took over for the next four hours behind the wheel.

It was nice being able to hold hands with Taehyung during the times that he and I drove. We just talked about all sorts of things and when I was in the passenger seat, I would pull up random quizzes and I'd make him answer questions to find out silly things like what Avengers character (Doctor Strange) he's most like or if he were a pizza, what kind would he be (cheese pizza with extra cheese!). Lots of laughter was shared between us during this long drive. Not only that, but we talked about the times we both developed feelings for each other and we are just amazed we kept our feelings from each other for this long.

Taehyung had admitted to me how he's been jealous of every boyfriend I've been with. Granted, I've only been in three serious relationships, but he included the guys I dated for shorter periods. My last relationship was the longest. I was with this man named Yoongi for a little over two years. He and I met through a mutual friend, a coworker of mine at a summer job for a small publishing company.

Yoongi and I were introduced at a gathering and we just really hit it off. We ended up going on dates and mini trips. One of our first trips was at this cozy yet romantic bed & breakfast place in Vermont.

Yoongi and I fell hard for each other and we were together for a couple years, then he was promoted at his job. His position was a demanding one, making him work long hours and he went on frequent business trips. Then, with me focusing on school and a part-time job, we would end up not having enough time with each other. After a while, we realized we were drifting apart and decided to break up so we could focus on ourselves.

The break-up was difficult at first. There was an abundance of moments where I'd miss him and the loneliness would really get to me. But, luckily I'd keep myself busy with a lot and I would be able to take my mind off Yoongi. It's been several months now and I have been doing okay being a single lady.

That is until now, where I am going to explore new relationship territory with Taehyung.

Taehyung confessed to me that Yoongi was the man he was the most jealous of, back then, because that was around the time Taehyung and I didn't communicate as often during all our years of friendship.

It's wild to think that Taehyung,  my best friend, had feelings for me since high school. I never suspected it. I asked him about all of the women he was involved with, and at first he didn't want to discuss that particular part of his past, but then he opened up and admitted that most of those women were just a distraction. I didn't push the topic further when I realized he was getting uncomfortable speaking about that.

Jimin was asleep for most of the time except the last couple hours Taehyung drove. When we were about three and a half hours away from our destination, Jimin took over and drove.

It is currently 3:30pm and we are pulling up at Jungkook's brother's apartment complex. Jungkook's brother happens to be on a business trip in Japan. His brother had given him permission to let us stay for the night.

As we are parking in the guest parking lot, I text Jungkook to let him know that we had just arrived.

While Taehyung, Jimin and I get out of the vehicle to stretch our limbs, I see Jungkook running towards us.

"Y/N!" Jungkook excitedly yells as he heads towards me. He wraps me in his arms and I naturally wrap my arms around his neck for the hug, and he twirls me around. When he sets me back down onto the ground, I can see, in the corner of my eye, Taehyung slightly glaring at us. Is that jealousy I'm sensing from him already?!

I try to shake my thought and introduce Jungkook to Taehyung and Jimin. Jungkook greets both of my best friends with handshakes.

We all grab our luggages and Jungkook leads us to his brother's apartment.

After we settle in the apartment, he asks us if we just want to stay in and relax and order in some food or if we want to go out somewhere to eat. He also mentions how he has a friend in a band who is playing at a club and asks if we want to go to that. We all thought going out would be a fun choice while we are in Austin, so we all decided to freshen up and get dressed up for the night!

"Here we are at Mohawk!" Jungkook says as we all step out of the ride share car we called to take us to this music club from the steak house where we all ate a lot of delicious food.

"Let's get some drinks, shall we?" Jimin asks us and leads the way into Club Mohawk.

It's now 9pm and there's a good amount of people watching the current band playing. Jungkook informed us that his friend's band is the headliner so they'll be playing last.

The four of us head over to the bar and grab some drinks and we find a little spot in the corner to watch the band perform.

"KOOK!" We all hear a woman yell. The four of us turn our heads to the direction of the voice and we see three women walk towards us.

"Sandra!" Jungkook exclaims as he moves towards her and they give each other hugs. He bring the three women closer to us and he introduces Sandra as one of his friends he's known since high school. Since Jungkook did not know the other two women, Sandra introduced her two friends to us. The one standing close to Jimin is Chloe, and the other one beside her is Suzie. I have to be honest, they're all really beautiful.

I couldn't help but notice Suzie staring at Taehyung, who's standing across from her in the circle that we all naturally formed. She's totally checking him out, which I can't blame her. Taehyung is a breathtaking sight.

Taehyung just keeps looking at the stage and over to me every once in a while.

At one point, Taehyung noticed my glass empty, so he takes it from me and excuses himself, saying he's going to get the two of us drinks. As he's away, Sandra, who is next to me, starts chatting with me and I find her interesting with her telling me about her job as a freelance makeup artist.

After a few minutes, I realize Taehyung was taking longer than expected. When I look over to the bar, I see him holding two drinks and talking to Jimin, Chloe and Suzie, and Suzie looks awfully close to Taehyung. They are slowly moving towards us. When they get to us, Taehyung stops to stand next to me and Suzie decides to stand super close, beside him, and she seems to be finishing up whatever she's saying to him.

"Hopefully you all can stop and hang out at our place after this and have more drinks, maybe," she offers as she smiles slyly to Taehyung.

Taehyung hands me my drink and I could see Suzie taking notice of that and raising a brow at me as I quietly say 'Thank you' to him. Taehyung turns to Suzie.

"That sounds fun, but Y/N, Jimin and I are on a tight schedule with this road trip we are on. We need to try to get some rest so we have energy to drive tomorrow." As Taehyung finishes speaking he comfortably wraps his arm around my shoulders.

"Oh, I totally understand," Suzie says as she looks at us, taking the hint with Taehyung's body language with me and she ends up backing off the rest of the night.

This is totally different from the many nights I've gone to clubs and bars with Taehyung and Jimin in the past, when Taehyung and I were just friends.

Guys would approach me, but Jimin and Taehyung would always have so many women coming their way and I would always secretly get jealous of the women lucky enough to spend the night with Taehyung.

Suzie is an attractive woman, and to see Taehyung show no interest in her was just weird since I'm used to seeing him being flirtatious with women.

But, he said he wants to try a relationship with me and the fact that he's giving me all this attention...well, I can't lie and say I hate it, because I'm totally all for this attention he's giving me.

The rest of the night was spent with me and Taehyung dancing in each other's arms and us just having a blast with our friends.
