"Jax, you didn't tell me it's horror." I whispered to jax seated beside me as a scary part pops up and I jumped stuffing popcorns in my mouth while Jax just sits there not taking he's eyes off the big screen.

Jax saw that I was terrified by the movie, he suddenly took a hold of my hand and I blushed looking down at our hands, my hand much more small than he's.

"It's okay, Jax is here to protect you" he chuckled before sipping he's 🥤 juice turning he's gaze back to the movie.

With him beside me and holding my hand makes me feel less scared so I just continued watching the movie until it ends.

Outside the movie theater.

"Oh my god that was scary, never again am I watching horror movies again." I say feeling my heart

"La llorona is get gonna get you in your sleep." He say in a weird voice grabbing my waist.

"Shut up!" I laughed.

"You guys looks like you're having fun." To that voice we both turned around to see Brian.

I'm surprised to see him here what is doing here?

"Hey Brian! Do you came to watch the movie too?" I asked as he pushed he's hand in hes pants pocket staring dagger's at Jax who's smile vanished when he saw Brian

What the hell is up with them?

"Yeah, couldn't miss it." He respond and a suddenly a girl with black hair with pale skin appears beside Brian

I looked back and forth at them, are they a thing?

"Hey Brian.... Thanks for waiting up for me who are they?" Her gaze landed on me and jax, and I swear I saw her lick her lips when she saw Jax.

"I know them from school" He respond still giving Jax the death stare

"Oh nice to meet you guys, we gotta go." She stared down Jax one last time before she and Brian walked pass us.

I turned to Jax.

"Is something up with u and Brian?" I asked him.

And he gave me a confused look.

"No why?" He said

"It's just when you guys see each other, you both get angry like you wanna tear each other's throats out." I said to him

"Can we change the topic? " He walked off and I followed him to he's car.

"Yeah their is definitely something going on with you both." I opened the car door sitting before closing it behind me.

"Ugh okay yeah, he used to be my friend but I don't wanna talk about it , can we talk about the movie instead or something?" He starts the car

Him ans Brian used to be friend's?! What happened between them?

"Okay! Let's change the subject, can you tell why me why you're being so nice to me all of sudden I mean when we first bumped into each other you were such a jerk, he don't even hang out with anyone at school and now you're here with me?"

Jax sighed again and turned he's head to look at me.

"You seemed different from other kids at school so.. thats why I like hanging out with you " he stated

"He finally admits that he likes me." I smiled playfully

"I didn't say that, I mean I do like you but just as a friend." When he said that, I  don't know why I felt so down

Just as friend's? I mean we don't know each other that well so being friend's is  okay with me right?

He drove off the car in silence.

When he reached my house, the time was about 10pm, mom hasn't reached home yet.

"Hey thanks for taking me to see a movie, it was fun." I broke the silence.

"No prob, see you on Monday." I opened the car door shut it behind, I waved him good bye before he drove off.

Monday morning
8pm
In the hallways.

At my locker taking out my books for class, I closed the locker door and I had to hold in a gasp when Brian pops up into my face scaring me.

He chuckled as I let out a breath.

"Don't do that again." I say to him.

"So you wanna hang out with me after school?" He asked and I shook my head remembering that I of to work on the project with jax.

"Can't, I haven't started on the project so I'll be busy doing that." I said and he's face drops

"But maybe another time buddie." I ruffled he's long black hair giggling, he then took my hand from he's hair and hold onto it staring down at me.

He's eyes are so grey, I could get lost in them, he's really good looking but I not like jax_ god why does he's name keeps popping up in my head everytime.

We didn't break eye contact until tasha comes along.

"Are you guys done staring into each other's souls?" Tasha laughed and I pushed her playfully.

"Anyways, brittany you haven't told me details about your night with Jax at the movies." Tasha squeals, I heard a groan escapes from Brian mouth.

"Their is really nothing to tell, it's like two friend's going to watch movies together." I said.

"We even ran into Brian, he was also there." I looked at Brian

"Uh yeah, like I said couldn't miss that movie." He replied.

The hallways got quiet all of a sudden followed by the sound of heels clicking onto the floor, god that must be them.

We all turned our gaze to Katy and her followers my eyes couldn't help but look down at what she's wearing to school

A skirt that is way too short, a white crop top that's why too tight he could also see her bra and her belly piercing pecking out, her face filled with makeup and her hair shiney as ever.

She's sounds so perfect right? More like fake ugh

Guys waved at her while she walks and she waved back flashing her long hair behind her way, she saw us and made the wrong decision to walk up to us.

"Hey guys, Brian what are you doing hanging out with these .... Kind of people?" She gave us the disgusted look.

She must want another beating like what she got from the party but I guess that wasn't enough for her.

"I don't know cause their nice people and doesn't bully people." He said gesturing to her, me and tasha chuckled as I crossed my arms over my chest glaring at them

"But look at them! They don't belong in this school , and tasha did you think I forgot what you did to me at the party...." She said turning her gaze to tasha

"Oh do you want a round two?" Tasha clenched her fist at her and Katy instantly got scared backing away as the bell rang

"You're lucky the bell rang, cause I was about to give a round two." She smiled before walking off.

"Coward." Tasha says and me and Brian laughed.
