Helena held on to Liam's book until Sunday morning. When she woke up, she dressed up in one of her best outfits and sprayed on her favorite body mist just to catch a glance of him when she returned it.

Helena added an extra two sprays around her neck before her phone vibrated. She grabbed it off the table and checked who it was.

"OH shoot. I totally forgot about messaging Chris. Hmm...He wants to go out to dinner tonight." She responded hastily to it before tossing her phone on the bed and then grabbed Mr. Reider's book. She rushed outside without any plans, keeping her eyes on the lookout for him.

She waited outside for a while, hoping to find him or catch him walking out of the mansion before eventually convincing herself to go inside. After searching the first floor for him, Helena climbed up the staircase towards the bedrooms. She found him in the hallway and a giant smile widened over her face.

"Mr.-I mean Liam?"

"Oh, didn't see you there Helena." He said, turning around to face her. He was tying a tie around his neck and his eyes dipped down her outfit for a second. "What can I do for you?"

"You left your book by the fountain yesterday." She handed it to him. "I just came to return it."

"Thanks, I appreciate that." He told her as he took it. "Well, I hate to keep it brief, but I better be going now."

"Wait, I-I was actually wondering if you needed help with anything before I left?" Helena asked desperately. No, I don't want him to leave yet.

"Uh, no I'm fine. Thank you though. Why don't you go and enjoy your day off?" He offered and started past her again.

Please don't go yet...

Helena wrinkled her skirt a bit. "Actually there was one more thing I wanted to ask you. About my move in the room?"

"Don't worry, I'll explain everything when I come over on Monday. Now if you'll excuse me, I must-"

The master bedroom door suddenly opened and Alice walked out carrying their bed sheets. She looked between Mr. Reider and Helena before glancing up and down at her. "Lemme guess, another hot date with boyfriend?"

"I-wa-"

"Oh, I wasn't aware that you were with someone." Liam responded while raising a brow.

"I-but it's not official or something." Helena sputtered.

Alice snorted. "What you talking about? You had markings up and down neck like bear attacked you." She turns to Mr. Reider and laughed, "You should of seen! Her boyfriend practically sucked neck dry like vampire. She had hickeys all over."

"I...I see." Liam said awkwardly. "Listen ladies, I really got to go."

"Yes of course, Liam." Alice gushed and before Helena could say anything, he squeezed past them and headed into his office and closed it without a second glance.

Helena stood there in shock. Alice walked by with a hmph and strutted past her down the stairs with her nose in the air. "I can't believe she just said that!" Helena's face lit up with anger, embarrassment and humiliation. She dropped her head down in defeat and walked back down the stairs.

Chris took them out to a restaurant later that night but Helena couldn't get her mind off Liam. "He probably won't even look me in the eye after that."

"Hey are you alright babe?" Chris asked.

"Yeah I'm fine, why do you ask?" She mumbled nonchalantly while stirring her plate of fries with a fork.

"You don't seem fine. What's going on?"

"It's just...could we make it an early night tonight?" Helena pleaded.

"Oh sure...are you feeling sick?"

"Lovesick maybe." Helena thought sadly.

As he dropped her off, he went in to kiss her but she turned so he ended up kissing her cheek.

"Uh night?"

"Night." She muttered and hopped out of the car.

"Maybe we can-"

She closed the door before he could finish and headed towards the gates. Once she was inside, she fell into her bed face first. "What the hell am I doing...maybe things will be better in the morning and I can set things right when I see him."

The next morning, she got up bright and early, but was disappointed to see that Mr. Reider had appointed one of his maids to help her move in.

It was sad leaving Madame Lidiya's place but she was too busy being distracted with thoughts of Liam. Plus it was an added bonus to finally get the hell away from Alice after what she did.

Once everything was moved into her new boarding room, she arranged it how she wanted and then threw herself onto the bed. She tried to do her homework that she's been behind on but her mind kept drifting away to Mr. Reider.

"I wonder if he's avoiding me now, after finding out." She tapped the piece of paper with her pen before falling back on her bed and covering her face with her arm. "There was a spark there, I know it." She started to blush a little, replaying the moment of them getting closer and closer towards each other by the fountain. "I wonder...what would have happened if we weren't interrupted...would I have gone for it? It doesn't matter now though, everything came crashing to reality. All good things must come to an end right? Plus, how many times do you have to keep reminding yourself that he's taken?"

She sighed and rolled over. She picked up her phone and stared at it for a minute before scrolling through her contacts. "Maybe I'll invite Andrea over tonight to help me with my homework." After she made the phone call, she went to take a brief shower and then waited for her to come over.

"Wow cute little place you got!" Andrea gushed when she came into the room. Her friend brought over snacks, sodas, and assignments along with her sleeping bag that was rolled up under her arm. "I'm so happy that you live here now and not at that stinky motel anymore."

"Huh? Oh thanks, yeah it's great." Helena shrugged.

"Soooo..." Her friend started while unpacking and setting up her laptop. "How are you and Chris doing?"

"Uhh...we're okay I guess."

"What? Is something wrong? Are you guys fighting already?"

"No it's just...a lot has been going on, I haven't seen him much."

"Oh I see. Yeah with work and school it can be difficult to balance the two."

"Mmhm."

"Now, let's start on today's homework shall we?"

Helena was sitting cross legged on her bed while Andrea laid on the floor on her stomach. Her friend chewed on her eraser before scarfing a couple of chips into her mouth. "Hey, Helena, what did you get for number 8?"

No response.

"Helena?" Her friend glanced up from her book to find her staring out the window.

"Hey is everything alright? Hello, Earth to Helena?" She called out and tossed a chip at her forehead.

"What the hell was that for?" Helena growled and tossed it back.

"I've been trying to get your attention for almost a whole minute. What's gotten into you girl?"

"Nothing, it's just..." Helena sighed.

"Come on, just tell me." Her friend asked and sat on the bed with her. "You know I can keep a secret and won't judge you."

"I...think I'm in love with my employer."

Andrea froze. "Oh."

"Yeah...he found out I was with Chris and I think he's avoiding me now."

"Oh."

"Is that all you can say is oh?" Helena whined and whacked her with a pillow.

"I'm sorry, it's a lot to take in without judging you right now." Andrea replied playfully. "But what about Chris? I thought you always liked him?"

"I do, it's just...I feel like I'm a completely different person when I'm around my boss. He's funny and sweet and he's been so nice to me. Plus his accent is super hot."

"Ok wow girl, it does sound like you like this dude. But like, how hot is he?"

"Like a ten out of ten?" Helena blushed and buried her head into her pillow.

"Oh REALLY?! Now I feel like I want to see him for myself." She laughed. "Is he really that good looking?"

"Yes." Helena nodded into the pillow. "I think he's foreign. He's super polite too."

Helena explained the rest of the situation to her and they ended up giggling up until midnight about boys.

"Ah, well it's a shame he's avoiding you now. Maybe it's a sign for you to go back to focusing on Chris or something."

"Yeah maybe." Helena thought. "Though, I still have practice with Liam tomorrow. Maybe I can explain everything then or...I don't know."

There was suddenly a loud knock on the door. They both looked at each other before a couple more hit the door. "Helena! Open this door this instant."

"Oh shit! Hush, it's my employer!" Helena cried out.

"The one you're in love with?" Andrea asked, confused.

"No!" She hissed and tossed a pillow at her head before hopping over the sleeping bag to the door. "It's his wife."

"He's married?! Hold up, you didn't tell me-"

"Not now! I'll explain it later!" Helena shushed her before opening the door. "H-Hello Mrs. Daville. Is something the matter?"

"Is something-! Excuse me, but it's clearly stated in our rules that company and sleepovers are completely forbidden here! Not only that, lights are off at 10 o'clock sharp on weeknights!"

"Oh I'm so sorry miss! I didn't know!"

"I can leave right now if you want me to ma'am!" Andrea offered from inside the room.

"No, it's fine. Halena, just know this marks you down for a warning. She leaves the minute the sun rises." She glared at Helena sharply. "Lights off."

"Yes ma'am!" Both girls gulped.

She glared at them before slowly closing the door behind her.

After waiting a few minutes to make sure Mrs. Daville was out of earshot, they both let out a whooshing exhale.

"I can't believe you put up with her. And you're in love with her husband? I don't know, but he seems more trouble than he puts out to be."

"Yeah, maybe..." Helena trailed off before shutting off her lamp.
