"Sorry Chris, I have to reschedule."

Helena told him as she was lacing up her shoes with her cellphone against her ear the next morning.

"Mhm, it's important for work."

"Damn that's a shame." Chris sighed on the other end. "I have football practice most of next week too."

"Oh..." Helena looked over her shoulder to see Alice tapping her foot impatiently and Madame Lidiya using her hands to imply, "wind it up."

Helena nodded in acknowledgement. "Well, I'm sure we'll figure something out, but I have to go now. I'll call you later."

After she hung up, she ran over to meet up with them. She was grouped for detailed cleaning in the dining hall with them bright and early. As they walked out of the maid's dormitories, she saw all kinds of maids bustling about in pairs, heading to one part of the mansion or another to take care of.

"Wow, I've never seen this many people out here before." Helena gushed in surprise.

"Da! That reminds me. Didja hear? One maid found another job out of state so room will be available. The master of house reserved it for you since you need it most. Aren't you so lucky!" Madame Lidiya announced happily.

Alice started to glare at Helena as a blush crept up her cheeks.

"Oh! Uh, are you sure they didn't want to give it to someone else who might need it more or to Alice?" Helena said quickly.

"HA! Alice couldn't hold a savings to save life. She spends too much partying with friends." Madame Lidiya laughed.

"It's not my fault partying and looking beautiful costs lots of money" Alice brushed them off.

"Anyway, you must have good amount saved by now?" Madame Libya asked.

"Yeah, I do actually."

"You must be so excited!" Madame Lidiya gushed.

Helena laughed. "Don't sound too eager to get rid of me."

"Oh no, myshka never!"

"Yes, we are." Alice interjected.

"Suka, stop now." Her mom scolded.

"I meant it as a joke." Helena said dryly.

"I. Didn't." Alice spat flatly and eyeed her down before taking off ahead and went inside the mansion.

Madame Lidiya rolled her eyes. "We'll, I'm happy for you Helena."

"Thanks, I am excited." She smiled back and opened the door to let Madame Lidiya in first.

As Mrs. Daville ranted about how she wanted things done precisely for her dinner party, (along with stating a list of punishments if things go astray in your department), Helena spotted Mr. Reider standing off to the side near the fireplace. She remembered what Madame Lidiya said, about him ensuring a room for her and it made her blush. Then she thought about when he accidentally brushed his thumb against her nipple. Her blush darken.

It was the only thing she could think about last night. It surged her body and it was difficult not to get aroused when it played like a taunting screen in her mind. After a cold shower and a walk around the fountain outside was enough to put her to sleep, she had pushed it past her mind until now.

I wonder if he thinks about it or even knows what happened.

His head started turning in her direction and she quickly looked away and focused back on Mrs. Daville.

Once the meeting was over, everyone started to clear out and head to their stations. Helena was tasked with the Daville's patio to clean and set up for the party. It was on their second floor and wide enough to hold four round glass tables complimented with large patio umbrellas. She also had to serve drinks to the guests who were exploring the house and keep the patio tidy and swept whenever anyone used it.There were also tiki torch lanterns she had to light up when night time came around to keep it lit.

It wasn't an ideal way she wanted to spend her Saturday, but Helena was happy enough that she was getting paid for it.

Even though she finished two hours early before the party was supposed to start, Helena wasn't allowed to leave her post. She could eat lunch but that was about it. So she made a quick sandwich and took it back upstairs to eat alone at one of the tables.

She found herself thinking about Mr. Reider but then forced herself to think about Chris. "I wonder what it would be like if he did something like that..."

She created a scenario in her head where Chris reached for one of her hardened nipples but then she sighed and took a bite out of her sandwich. "There's just something different about them two. Yeah sure, with Mr. Redier there's the whole taboo thing, whatever. But...there's also...a certain kindness that draws me to him."

"Ahem."

"OH!" Helena jumped in her seat and looked at the door.

"Are you finished out here?" Mrs. Daville asked.

"Yes ma'am!" Helena saluted like she was answering a drill sergeant.

"Then why aren't you downstairs helping the others?" She asked while adjusting a stunning silver watch on her wrist. Mrs. Daville was wearing a plum business blazer with a matching pencil skirt and light pink lipstick for the party. Her hair was pinned up as usual but with what looked like a 3 line diamond hair clip at the top.

"I thought we weren't allowed to leave our stations?" Helena asked nervously.

"Not unless they have as much free time as you." Mrs. Daville replied snidely. "Get downstairs and back to work."

"Right! On it Mrs. Daville!" Helena yelped and booked it passed her and ran downstairs

*****

As night fell, Helena rushed back upstairs with a tray of drinks and horderves for the guests, wearing a new uniform that had shorter sleeves and a black mask that covered over her eyes. She quickly lit up the torch lights and stood by waiting patiently. It took a little over an hour before a couple of people showed up wearing their own business wear and masks. Most took the drinks without acknowledging her and continued their conversations and others that at least said thank you to her.

By the time it was 9pm, she ran out of appetizers and drinks for the guests. To replenish them, she had to go back down to the main hall to the bar. As she descended down the staircase, the music and noise she heard earlier grew louder and she was able to see all the people Mrs. Daville invited to her mansion. There were at least fifteen to twenty people in this large room along with Mrs. Daville herself all gossiping at once. Her gaze lingered on Liam who was at his wife's side listening intently to the conversation. When he started to turn her head, Helena quickly turned her attention to her task and continued down the steps towards the bar. When she got everything filled up, she carefully turned the tray around and went back towards the patio.

Her eyes were entirely on the glasses as she balanced them, making her way through the people as much as she could without dropping them. Before she could make it to the staircase, a large man stood in her path.

"Can I help you sir?" She asked him.

"Yes, I dare say young lady, I am fascinated by the color of your hair. Are you from around here?"

Helena blushed almost as dark as her red hair. "Yes. Just got lucky in the gene pool I guess." She laughed nervously.

"Indeed, my, you are breathtaking to look at." He complimented with a smile that made Helena shrink in her outfit.

"T-thank you! I don't know how you're able to tell by wearing this mask." She joked.

"I'm sure without it you'll end up being the star attraction yourself." He egged on, moving closer to her.

"I...I'm not sure about that-"

"Look love, I'm sure you don't want to spend the rest of your life here serving these two." He pulled a card out from his jacket pocket. "What say you come to my firm and work as my secretary? We'll treat you real nice there and I'm sure you'll fit in with us nicely."

"I-"

"Excuse me sir?"

Both turned to see that Mr. Reider had joined them. "Is everything okay here?" He asked.

"Yes Liam, no problems here. Right love?"

Helena glanced between them but didn't say anything.

"Was just asking for a drink is all." He told him and grabbed one.

"Okay, but try not to hog her all to yourself. I know she's cute, but she still has a job to do. Right Helena?" Liam asked and wrapped an arm around her shoulder to help guide her upstairs.

"I suppose you're right." The man snarled, giving him a dirty look before turning back towards the party.

"Sorry about that." Liam told Helena once they were out of ear shot. "I told my wife to be careful who she invites over, but she claims she has a handle on it." He laughed and shook his head.

"It's okay. Thanks for saving me from him."

He laughed again. "No worries. Alright I better get back now before she realizes I'm gone." He said once he led her back to the patio. "Don't have too much fun up here. Remember, the drinks are for the guests only."

"Don't worry I won't." Helena giggled.

Mr. Reider waved before heading back down the stairs.

The night eventually began winding down, people were trickling out back to their cars as she watched them from above. After a bit, her station was deserted and was given the okay to close down. She cleaned up all the trash from the tables, swept, and took it downstairs to the dumpster. Once she was done, Helena grabbed a washcloth and some soap to wipe the tables down.

As she was scrubbing, the door behind her opened.

"Sorry, the patio is closed." She announced, keeping her eyes on the table.

Nothing.

"Hm?" She turned around when she didn't hear a response or the door closed. When she saw who it was, her blood ran cold.

It was the guy from before.

"S-sorry sir. I was told to close down the patio. The rest of the party is downstairs now."

"I know. I was just so heartbroken that our conversation ended so abruptly. I never got a chance to give you my card."

"Oh sure, I can take it now." Helena offered. I'll take it and never call or see this guy again.

She walked over to him and he gave her the small black business card. He then smirked and wrapped his arm around her wrist. "You really are gorgeous, you know that? And you smell so lovely..."

"Sir stop! This is inappropriate!" Helena cried as she tried to yank out of his grip.

"You're like a delicate red flower that I would love to keep in my office." He whispered and used his other hand to tilt her chin up towards him.

"Let GO!" Helena yelled and stepped on his foot.

"OW!" He cried out in pain and released her.

Helena pulled away and backed up as he raised his right hand up at her.

"You stupid little bitch, I would-"

"Excuse me, Mr. Heisenberg."

Both turned to find Mrs. Daville at the door.

"Sir, the dinner party is over. You need to vacate my property immediately." She threatened. "I'm sure you don't want me to alert the authorities about this matter."

"No need. I was already on my way out." He growled, giving Helena one last threatening glare before leaving.

"I'm sorry." Mrs. Daville apologized once he left. "I'll make sure he leaves the property immediately. Hurry and close it down here then off to the maids dorms with you."

"Right, yes Mrs. Daville. Thank you." Helena said gratefully.

Mrs. Daville nodded before closing the double doors.

That was scary. Helena sighed. I don't know what would've happened if Mrs. Daville didn't show up. I guess I have her to thank for that.

Helena continued scrubbing the table. "Or it could have been that she didn't want something like this to tarnish her name and house." Helena wiped her brow. "I just rather not think about it anymore."

Once the tables were cleaned, she went over and blew out all the torch lights. She went to open the door but then saw a few glasses underneath a table. Helena rolled her eyes and gathered them before heading out and locking the patio door.

"Now, I just need to wash these and I'm done for the night." As she descended down the staircase, all the lights were turned off inside the mansion. "Oh no! How long have I been cleaning for?!"

All the maids that were working downstairs had already finished and shut down, possibly already retired for the night. Helena rushed to the kitchen and washed the few glasses as fast as she could. As she was coming out, she sighed exhausted and stretched. It was then that she spotted someone sitting in the darkness in one of the couch chairs.

She was about to scream until she made out the person's slender form.

"Mr. Reider? Are you alright?"

"Hm? Oh don't mind me, I just had a bit to drink. I'm resting my eyes now."

"Can I get you anything?" Helena offered.

"No. I'm fine, thank you."

Helena was about to head out until Mr. Reider said, "Actually yes. I wouldn't mind some company while I finish off my last drink before bed."

"Oh, okay." Helena responded.

He took a quick sip from the small glass and then stirred the drink with the ice. "How was the party for you? Hope you didn't have to work too hard."

"Oh no it was fine. It was a pretty chill night."

"That's good." He nodded and finished the off contents in his glass.

Helena scratched the left side of her wrist shyly as silence fell between them.

"May I ask you something?" He said suddenly.

"Sure, anything you like." Helena offered.

It took a moment for him to say something, as if he was choosing his words wisely. "The other day with the baby..."

Helena's body stiffened. "Y-Yes?"

"I hope you don't mind me being forward by asking, but...I wasn't sure what I saw."

Helena didn't respond.

"That...It wasn't a normal type of outfit was it? What you had underneath I mean."

Helena's whole face was flustered. "N-No."

"So what I saw-"

"Yes!" Helena blurted out bluntly before he could finish the sentence. He must be drunk, how can he ask things so shamelessly! Helena panicked. Hopefully he'll just sleep this off and forget this moment even happened.

Both didn't say anything for a minute before Liam broke into a chuckle. "Interesting." He said simply and gulped down the rest of the ice from his glass and crunched down on them. He wiped his mouth with his arm and then stood up and walked over to her.

"I think I'm ready to retire for the night. Thank you. Would you mind taking this back for me?" He asked, handing her the empty glass.

"Of course sir."

Helena took it from his grasp and his free hand suddenly caressed down one of the free strands of hair that came out of her pin.

"You really are something else." He whispered. He leaned down towards her, towards her lips without warning, and at first Helena wanted it, but the fresh memory of the creepy guy touching her earlier made her pull away from him.

Mr. Reider must have noticed because he froze, realizing what he was doing. He whispered, "Thank you for the company," before placing his cold lips onto her cheek.

"Goodnight little lamb."

Helena's whole face was warm with embarrassment except for the cold spot he kissed and she gently cupped it. She stared after him as he headed up the staircase and smiled softly.

"Goodnight Mr. Reider."
