When the world says 'give up', hope whispers 'try it one more time'.

Since Neel had shown me the newly designed attic, I had been in there constantly. Just keeping to myself. I held the sketch book on my lap closer to me, finishing the final details on what I had started drawing a few days ago. The google home in the corner of the room played music softly, calming my nerves. I was so engrossed in sketching that I didn't hear anyone enter the room.

"Mind if I come in?" I jumped at Neels voice and quickly hid the sketch book. I sat criss-cross style making room for him to sit next to me. We sat in silence before he broke it.

"What were you doing?" I shrugged. Neel looked at the pencil in my hand and then at the sketch book peeping out from under a pillow.

"You've been cooped up in here a lot lately" Neel said continuing to glance at the sketch book.

"It's nice" I whispered playing with my fingers.

"I'm glad you like it" Neel nodded leaning back so that he was against the wall.

"Fuck it" Neel sighed sitting back up. "I want to see what you were drawing", he pointed to the sketch book.

"It's nothing special. Just something to pass time" I shook my head, retrieving the book tracing my finger over its cover.

"Then you wouldn't mind me seeing it" Neel shuffled closer to me taking the book off my lap and I didn't fight. I had drawn stuff for only me to see, but when it came to Neel, I didn't care. Neel opened the book his eyes flickering back and forth taking everything in.

Neel studied the page for a few more seconds before turning over and did the same. His eyes flickered over the page before he looked back at me.

I've found you now, so don't you say...it's too late.

My eyes flashed to the google home as it played the song. Was it too late? Was I broken beyond repair?

"Okay google, stop" Neel said and the room was soon filled with silence.

"Wow. You can sing. You can draw. You can cook. What can't you do?" Neel laughed slowly tracing the sketch with the tip of his finger. I shrugged. Neel closed the book handing it back to me and went back to his original position against the wall. We sat in silence once again just enjoying the presence of each other.

"Think fast" Next thing I knew a pillow flew straight at me and hit me square in the face. I let out a large gasp as Neel bellowed out a laugh.

"Oh shit. I didn't mean to hit you in the face" Neel said in-between his laughter. I scowled picking up the same pillow throwing it back at him. Due to the fact the Neel was on his knees when the pillow hit him, he toppled backwards onto the floor.

"I shouldn't have done that" I shrieked but couldn't help but let out a loud laugh. Neel groaned on the floor making me laugh harder. God, I missed laughing. It felt so good. Neel sat up on the floor and looked at me with raised eyebrows. I bit my lip to stop myself from laughing but couldn't keep the grin off my face.

"Your smile is literally the cutest thing I have ever seen in my entire life" Neel stared at me from the floor. My heart dropped to my stomach and my smile fell slightly.

"Relax" he said once again. I looked back at him and saw him extend his hand towards the pillow next to him once again and pick it up.

"Don't" I help my pointer finger up thinking it would stop him. Neel smirked standing up. I immediately picked up the closest pillow next to me and held it up in front of me just as he attacked.

"Neel, stop" I shrieked as I fell backwards from his weight but again couldn't help but laugh. I pathetically hit his back with the pillow in my hand but to no avail.

"What do I get in return?" Neels left leg was wrapped over my right thigh as he held me down with his pillow. I thought over it a bit before replying.

"I'll cook you steak" that was his favourite food, if I remember correctly. Neel narrowed his eyes at me for a second before releasing me.

"Don't kid with a mans food. I'm holding you to that" Neel moves off me, and lays down next to me.

Well, that was something. You know the best feeling in the world is watching things fall back into place after watching them fall apart for so long.

"I don't know what it is about you" I finally spoke up after I got my breathing back under control. Neel turned on his side, resting his head on his elbow, so that he was facing me.

"What do you mean?"

"I can talk to you. Tell you things I wouldn't tell anyone. God, you're the only one who had made me smile genuinely. Laugh even. It could be the fact that you always say the right thing at the right time, but I just want you to know that it means everything to me. Thank you" I explained.

"You don't need to thank me" Neel sat up helping me sit up too. Before he could speak up again another voice interrupted us.

"What the hell was all that noise?" Julius popped his head through the door staring at us.

"Move your fat ass out of the way. I want to see" Another voice shouted who was no doubt Julian.

"Do you want something?" Neel asked standing up.

"We're actually kind of hungry" Neel rolled his eyes and Julian and muttered something along the lines of 'when are you not'. Neel walked towards the door and down the ladder, holding his hand out for me. When my feet were firmly planted on the ground, he turned around to face the twins.

"You're in luck. Olivia offered to cook us some steak" Neel smirked looking at me. I shook my head at them and walked to the kitchen. I scanned the fridge before turning around to face Neel who had followed me along with Julian and Julius.

"We don't have any steak. Guess I won't be offering you anything" I hid my smile walking past Neel, purposely brushing my shoulder against his. Before I could leave though, Neel snaked his hand around my forearm and pulled me back.

"Guess we'll just have to go shopping then" Neel raised his eyebrows in challenge and I only groaned in response.

Shopping it was then.

This is my favourite chapter so far. I'm loving Olivia's character development. Anyway sorry for the late update. I was in hospital and in a lot of pain. Now I'm going to go eat some proper food. Hospital food sucks.

There's also something that needs to be said. Something disgusting happened in school today. Before I get into the story let me explain how schooling works in the UK for my non-British readers. High School in England for me - not sure about anyone else - is for 7 years. We start at the age of 12/13 and finish at 17/18. I'm in my final year of school right now and I go to an all girls school.

I was in my class minding my own business when there was a commotion outside. I took a look outside and saw a crowd gathering around. I watched on for a while until every dispersed off but I had a gut feeling saying something was going on so I didn't stop looking. My eye was on one specific girl because she seemed like the victim in this. I will refer to her as Girl #1. So I continued to watch Girl #1 and all of a sudden I saw such a quick flash and Girl #1 was walking away with her hand covering her face. I instantly knew she was hit in the face.

I did not wait a second. I got up and ran out of my classroom while the teacher was teaching and ran straight outside - two other girls followed me outside when they realised what was happening. I was absolutely fuming and that is an understatement so instead of heading towards the assaulter I headed for Girl #1 and asked whether she was okay. She didn't reply because she was so scared so I turned around and walked towards the crowd. I stood in the middle with the two other girls and asked who was responsible. No one came forward mostly because they were intimidated by us since we were the eldest in the school.

The girls were especially intimidated by me because I'm quite tall and compared to me they were tiny. I could have screamed and swore at them but I didn't, I remained civil. I asked again and one girl came forward. This girl I will refer to as Girl #2. I asked her why she did it and what she got out of doing what she did. When she replied I knew she was lying so instead of wasting my time on her I went back to Girl #1 and spoke to her instead. I sat her down and I talked to her about what had happened and she told me everything.

I'm not someone who doesn't take both sides of the story so I went back to Girl #2 and got her side of the story even though I didn't need to because I saw everything with my own eyes. Once Girl #2 realised that I saw everything, she confessed. What had happened is that Girl #1 was running with her friends and Girl #2 had tried to trip her and so when Girl #1 grabbed onto Girl #2 for support, she kicked her in the face. KICKED HER IN THE FUCKING FACE. I was beyond disgusted.

Do you know what the worst thing was? Girl #2 was 12 years old. 12. At that young age you don't understand much so instead of shouting and screaming I took the Girl #2 somewhere quiet - obviously making sure that Girl #1 was safe with my other to friends - and sat her on the chair and sat on the floor in-front of her and talked to her about what she was doing and why it was wrong.

Bullying is something I cannot stand and no one should have to go through it. I beg you all to please take a stand against bullying. Even if you're not taking part in the actual bullying but are just watching, you're not any better than them. Please, please don't take bullying lightly. I cannot stress this enough.

BULLYING IS NOT OKAY!
