"Calm down, we're harmless," the person said quietly, his voice sounding familiar. "I'm just taking orders."

Hearing the words for the second time, I asked irritably, "Ordered who?"

I heard shuffling from behind and I felt my wrist being uncuffed. They stuffed something on my hair and draped a smooth satin fabric over my head and arms. I felt a warm hand gently push me at the sole of my back, leading me to God knows where.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked.

"To your knight." Answered the person next to me.

"If you haven't guessed who we are, girl where have you been all your life?" Asked the other.

"Oh, now I'm supposed to know you." I scoffed. "Are you a popular clique or something?"

I heard fake gasps followed by slow claps. Are these people still in their right state? I wondered.

"The one and only."

I rolled my eyes as realization dawned on me. Popular clique really does have a strange way of making an introduction to other people. Assuming from their voices and the way they throw subtle insults on me, I am with the twins of the popular clique. I haven't seen the group for quite a long time.

I was moved to a halt as I heard bustling and whispering around me.

'Here she comes,'

'She's pretty, isn't she?'

'Oh how I wish to be her,"

'What a lucky girl.'

The murmur goes on. Are they talking about me? The noise subdued as a soft music played in the background. The sweet smell of flowers wafted through the air and my stomach churned. I am now having a gist of where I am, however I might be mistaken. Slowly, I removed my blindfold and the sight before me stumped me.

I was in a stand-in stall designed like a mini church. White fabrics accentuated the ceiling and columns. The red carpet was set out on the aisle as stand-in flowers designed from each meter. There was a mini table set in the middle draped with satin, flowers and candles propped on top of it.

The twins, Noah and Nate, who escorted me here winked at me and stood next to the man waiting below the stand altar. He was smiling at me brightly with his tuxedo on. My heart skipped a beat as he swiftly brushed his hair back with his fingers. How could he look so handsome without effort?

Like water in the desert
Impossible to find
You found me when I was broken
Put me back together, gave me life

My eyes widened in shock. That was Ashton's voice! Despite the song being prerecorded, tears started to brim my eyes as I will always be a fan of his voice.

Like a flower in the concrete
So beautiful and rare
You gave me hope when I was empty
Walked me through the fire, you were there

You're the sun to the moon
You're my ocean, painted blue
You, I'm nothing without you

A girl handed me a bouquet of roses and I slowly walked to the aisle-- feeling like a real bride.

Like an angel in a nightmare
You opened up my eyes
Looking in all the wrong places
You're the one I needed this whole time

He smiled at me and I felt like a love sick girl. I wiped the tear that slipped off at the corner of my eye. I feel the serenity of the song-- the sincerity in Ashton's voice. Looking back, it never occurred to me that this will happen in my lifetime-- marrying him in the wedding booth. It seemed like yesterday, we were both bantering at the back of the school pursued by the guards.

You're the light in the dark
You're the arrow through my heart
You, I'm nothing without you (oh, oh)

I reached him under the altar, my emotions and thoughts both in havoc. He beamed, reaching for my hand.

"Are you ready to change your status?" He asked, tucking the strands of my hair off my face. I smiled. I couldn't wipe off the grin on my face. I eagerly bob up my head in agreement. All of a sudden, a lanky man appeared from the back curtain of the booth wearing all white. He looked up and I came face to face with Jeffty Williams.

He playfully tsked seeing me, "You sure wanna gunshot tie knots with this man?" He asked, eying Ashton playfully.

"Shut up, father." Ashton laughed. "I am the luckiest man to be married to her."

Jeffty took out a deep breath and cleared his throat, starting the ceremony. "Dear friends and schoolmates, we are gathered here today, to witness and celebrate the union of Mr. Ashton Sullivan and Ms. Annathea Marie Samuels in this made up marriage." Jeffty coughed. "Through their time together, they have come to realize that their hopes, dreams and aspirations in life are attainable and meaningful if they are together, as love bounded them as one."

Jeffty sounded and preached like a real priest. I looked at Ashton. My smile got even broader as his gaze was already fixed on mine. I feel like in the cloud nine surrounded with rainbows and mellows. My stomach is filled with butterflies and fairies doing summersaults.

"Do you Ashton Sullivan, take this woman, to be your wedded wife, to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, to have and to hold, from this day forward, as long as you both shall live?"

Without hesitation, he replied, "I do." I bit the bottom of my lip as his intense deep blue eyes searched mine willfully.

"Do you Annathea Samuels, take this man, to be your wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and health, to love, honor and obey, in good times and woe, for richer or poorer, keeping yourself solely unto him for as long as you both shall live?"

Ashton looked so anxious with my response that the sight was almost comical. He took out his handkerchief, wiping off the sheen of sweats forming at the corner of his forehead. Subsequently, I took his hand with mine, and squeezed it reassuringly.

"I do," I avowed.

He let out a sigh he didn't realize he was holding. He reached for my hand and pushed a ring on my ring finger. I took out the ring from the box and did the same for him.

"With the power vested on me and with the joyous and wondrous occurrence that has taken place today, I now pronounce you a husband and wife. May you both uphold the commitment you make today throughout your life."

Easton turned to me, a sheepish smile pasted on his face. I blinked. Why was he now looking shy?
I blinked again, my face turning red as I realized that we have to kiss after the vow.

Ashton closed the gap between us, making me gulped in anticipation. I shut my eyes firmly, waiting for his kiss to touch my lips. I heard him chuckled and I felt his warm lips planted on my forehead.

I was disappointed.

"You don't look happy, wifey." He teased.

My inside churned. Wifey? Did he just call me wifey? Ghaaaaad. I would have cringed but it was Ashton who said it and I couldn't suppress my giggles.

"A little bit, hubby." I pouted.

He grinned and grabbed me from my waist. In a heartbeat, Ashton's lips met mine. I felt like his kiss touched my soul, savoring my sweetness. I then felt my eyelids fluttered shut as our lips moved in sync. I wrapped my arms around his neck to deepen the kiss. I have never felt this way before. The tingling sensations all over my body and the heat rose to my cheeks as his tongue touched my tongue.

I broke the kiss, and I heard everyone chortled and cheered.
