I was on my way to the parking lot, about to pick up Antonio from school and head home after successfully managing to avoid Kristen and the guys the entire day. It wasn't as easy as it sounded, but it was definitely worth it. Steff had provided me with all the necessary information I needed to steer clear of them.

Although not being able to see Kristen today and not being able to touch him was quite agonizing, I hoped they would get over it soon. I smiled, feeling a big relief.

I was so focused on my happy thoughts that I didn't notice the signs until I turned towards my car, ready to open the door. There, leaning against my car door, stood Kristen and his friends with smirks on their faces. This was definitely not what I had expected.

This was not my fate, and I'd be damned if I went down without a fight. So, in that case, it was definitely my cue to run. I threw my belongings away and sprinted like my life depended on it.

Unfortunately, my tiny feet couldn't carry me as far as the school building, which was just a few feet away, before I felt a hand grab hold of my shoulder.

"Hey, let me go!" I screamed. This was harassment!

"Not this time, princess. It's time you faced your punishment," Marco teased in my ear, and I grimaced.

"You can't do this!" I protested, watching as he brought me to Kristen, but not before tying my hands and stuffing my mouth, forcefully shoving me into his car.

For the love of God, they were kidnapping me for the second time now!

I found myself sitting between a smirking Marco and a smiling Maurice, while Kyle took his car and Kristen drove. I avoided all eye contact during the car ride, feeling Kristen's gaze on me through the rearview mirror.

I prayed they hadn't come up with an outrageous plan for revenge on me. I sighed, fed up with these brutes. They needed to learn a lesson, and that's what I intended to teach them.

In no time, I found myself seated in a chair in Kristen's house. Maurice removed the cloth from my mouth and eyes. Why were Kristen's parents never at home?

"What the hell is wrong with you people?!" I yelled, frustrated the moment the cloth was removed from my mouth.

"I'll be the one gagging your mouth this time, princess, if you don't get those curse words under control," Kristen glared at me, causing me to shut up instantly, blushing furiously at his blunt words.

"That's basically asking her to dump you. Haven't you realized that all of this is because you rubbed off on her in the wrong way? Not that there's any good way about you," Kyle spoke up.

"Could you please shut the hell up?" My boyfriend yelled, rubbing his forehead, and I wanted to laugh. This situation was more interesting than my favorite TV series.

"Exactly, she's not our shy princess anymore. She's become one of you... Our Anna would've never given us corrupted cupcakes," Maurice chimed in.

"Bella, I mean it. I don't want to hear another curse word out of that pretty mouth of yours," Kristen said, gently rubbing my cheeks, and I rolled my eyes at him.

"Not to interrupt your bickering, but what about Antonio?" I questioned.

"Steffon took the initiative and dropped your brother off at home. I guess he didn't want anything to do with what we have planned for you today," Kyle shrugged.

"I guess he's the smart one after all," I mumbled, rolling my eyes in frustration.

"I suggest you choose your words carefully, Bella," Kristen warned, her voice tinged with a mix of annoyance and concern.

"Why am I here?" I glared at them, pretending not to have any idea, masking my nervousness.

"You know exactly why you're here, princess. You're here to face your punishment," Marco smirked, his satisfaction evident.

My heart raced as Marco's words sank in. I desperately tried to think of a way out, my mind swirling with fear and disbelief. This wasn't how I had imagined things would turn out. How did it all go so wrong?

"Look, can we please get this over with? I have some very important business to attend to," I lied, attempting to divert their attention. However, my feeble attempt only seemed to amuse them, and their laughter pierced through me, intensifying my anxiety.

"You're such a terrible liar!" Kyle laughed, his amusement fueling my frustration.

"You did a good job today, hiding from us," Kristen interjected, her voice laced with a mix of disappointment and concern. "Leaving an hour early before school, ditching every class we had together, going to the nurse during lunch, and trying to leave school ten minutes before classes were over," she finished, her tone implying a deep hurt caused by my actions.

A pang of guilt shot through me as I realized the impact of my actions on Kristen. I had pushed her away, unintentionally causing her worry and pain. I felt a knot forming in my stomach, a mix of regret and sorrow flooding my senses.

"We had to stop him from hurting you or anyone who crossed his path today," Kyle explained, his voice reflecting genuine concern. "We wanted you to have fun until it was time for your punishment," he added, his words revealing a glimmer of compassion amidst the tension.

"After that stunt you pulled the other day, shoving us out the door when we couldn't even walk, was despicable," Maurice voiced his disapproval, his tone filled with a blend of anger and disappointment.

"So, what do you suggest we do with her?" Marco chimed in, his gaze fixed on me with a hint of malice.

"What do you mean, 'what do you suggest we do with her?'" I nervously questioned, my voice betraying a mix of confusion and anxiety. But my pleas fell on deaf ears as they continued their discussion, leaving me feeling powerless and unheard.

"Maybe we should have her eat some of those damn cupcakes she gave us. Let's see how princess over here likes that," Marco sneered, his eyes narrowing in a show of vindictiveness. I met his glare with defiance, my own anger bubbling up within me.

"I think we should leave her here for a couple of days without food instead. That should teach her," Kyle suggested, his words shocking me to the core. My mouth fell open in disbelief as I realized the severity of their proposed punishment.

"Kristen, baby, please listen to me," I implored, my voice filled with a mix of urgency and vulnerability. "I know what I did may have been intentional, but it was never my intention to hurt you. I just wanted to find a way to make you understand how much your secrets were affecting me, and to show you that my feelings matter too. I'm truly sorry for the pain I've caused."

As I spoke, the room seemed to hold its breath, hanging onto each word I uttered. I could see the conflict in Kristen's eyes, a battle between anger and a flicker of understanding. I desperately hoped that my plea would reach them, that they would see the sincerity in my words.

After a tense moment, Kristen interrupted Marco, their voice firm yet tinged with a hint of compassion. "Leave us alone," they instructed, their gaze locked with mine. Marco and the others smirked, walking out of the room, leaving us to face the aftermath of our turbulent encounter.

I could sense the weight of their unspoken message, the promise of repercussions still lingering in the air. The gravity of the situation settled upon me, filling me with a mix of regret and trepidation. Being alone in a room with Kristen was definitely not a good idea.
