Hi! It's nikki, nic or nicole (I'll take either name) and I have news:

This story started being written about six years ago on July 12, 2014, the summer before I entered high school. I always must mention that I was 14 when I wrote this and that 14-year-old me and the person now are two very different people. 

But now The Bad Boy and the Tomboy is going to be published by Wattpad Books this FALL 2020.

Can you scream with me? I think you can.

I've been very excited about this and already announced it through my twitter (@_nikkiofficialw) and instagram (nikki20038) (shameless promo) a while ago but realized I needed to tell all of you this as well.

Now, published stories are very different from the first draft usually and with the length of this first draft, a lot of scenes and characters are taken away to bring it down to a proper YA Romance but just as well a lot of scenes are also put into the new story.

If you are asking: what happened to that other version that was published? That was a self-published edition. That's completely different from what I am currently talking about. Also, that was taken down for this to happen and would have been taken down regardless.

I love the published version. It is something I am proud of and in my opinion, is something I cannot get tired of reading. Especially since it keeps the humor and story that Macy and Sam go through. I mean, my personal motto, whenever it comes to writing since I was a kid, is: if I laugh my ass off at something a character, I write says then someone else in the world will too.

Yes, if you read the new description online it says Sam is Cedric's cousin, but I assure you, the dynamic of the Cahills are still there regardless of the differences (and yes there are differences-  don't be scared lol-but the differences are put there for a reason). And yes, Caleb will be in the story (someone asked this and my jaw dropped at the audacity).

This story is way more realistic and guess what? The city where Macy lives finally has a name.

(I've always just wanted to keep you all in suspense I never actually had a name lmao)

You can find out the name of the city once the book is released on OCTOBER 13, 2020. Mark your calendars.

Since this story is being published, the published edition will also be out on Wattpad in October for you to read as a paid story in case you can't buy it from where you are in the world or like reading on your phone.

In addition, this story, the first draft, will be turned into a paid story in mid-July 2020. If you can't buy either this version or the published version to read The Bad Boy and the Tomboy, there are ways to get coins through ads on this platform too!
