Chapter 1-Maybe Frozen will be our Always 
The rest of the day after math was boring, until lunch. God, I wished lunch never happened. Like the usual, I had taken my tray of food and was walking to the table which had only Aaron at it.

Aaron is very popular, but he knows how I'm not comfortable with people, so it's just me and him at lunch. Ethan has different lunch timing. That's when it started. I tripped on my shoe laces and all my food fell on a certain somebody.

"Shit" I cursed under my breath.

"The f*ck" I looked up to find none other than Lucas Henswood.

"I'm sorry." I said.

"Sorry? Princess do you even know how much the leather jacket you spoiled costs?!" He yell and I flinched at his tone.

"I--I'll pay for it." I stuttered. He stepped closer but Aaron came to the rescue.

"Hey, she said she is sorry man, let her be." Aaron said stepping between me and Lucas.

"Fine." He said and Aaron dragged me to our table.

"What was that?"

"I tripped." Don't get me wrong, I'm not spineless. It's just that it was actually my fault so I couldn't speak up.

"Listen Emily, if anything related to Lucas happens, I need to know. If I'm not there, Ethan has to know."

"Okay" I say.

"Promise?"

"Promise" I smile.

Then, something new happened. A girl walked to our table. She was fair as in snow fair. The fairness highlighted her brown eyes and hair. She was darn pretty.

"Hey" She greeted.

"Hi" I smiled and so did Aaron.

"I'm Lucy." She said bringing her hand forward.

"I'm Aaron and the lady is Emily." Aaron said funnily and we chuckled.

"Never seen you around." I said.

"I'm new. Could I sit with you guys? I'm a bit awkward with new places, but I'm sure I will blend in." Lucy asked.

"Sure" Aaron beemed.

Hmm... Aaron liked her! Finally!!! I thought Aaron would never get himself another girlfriend after Summer left him, but I can already sense something!!

"So, Lucy where are you from?" I asked.

"I stayed in New York before, but my dad got transferred so we shifted here."

"Oh, so do you play sports? You look pretty fit." Aaron asked.

"Thanks, but I actually dance." She blushed. That's how lunch passed by. Guess we got a new friend.

Gym was the last lecture. I entered the girls locker room and changed into my basketball shorts and jersey. I work out in them because after gym, we have extra school basketball practice. That's when the cheerleaders enter. You know queen bee and her minions? The head is Summer Hill, Aaron's ex.

"Eww...look at her legs! No wonder she wears jeans all the time!" Lilly, summer's minion, commented.

"Oh my god yeah! Look at her ass too! It is totally a huge ass!" They all giggled.

To say I was hurt is an understatement. To Ethan and Aaron, I was fit, but I could never be as skinny and as pretty as the other girls. It was the reason I ate less. Any comments on my body hurt, a lot.

"Oh yeah? You know what, I don't care! At least I don't spread my legs for anything that has a D!" I yelled and walked out towards the gym.

Gym makes me feel like I can become thin again. I work out the entire time. Oh, and my work out includes any weight reducing exercise known to mankind. I'm insecure about my weight. Heck, I'm insecure with anything related to my looks.

"Ahh....cafeteria girl." Lucas says looking at me. Great, he doesn't even know my name.

"What do you want?" I ask, increasing the speed of my treadmill.

"Nothing, just watching how fat girls work their ass off." He smirked. Tears brimmer my eyes.

"Don't" I said and ran out.

I ran until I reached the bench in the school's garden. I let the tears flow. I wasn't the one to cry easily, but my weight was a sensitive topic. My mom says I'm not fat, but then why do people think I am?

"Hey I'm sorry." Lucas says.

"Go away Lucas, I'm not going to be the fling of your night." I reply.

He walks away. That's all he wanted. Even though I knew that, a part of me thought that he wasn't that heartless. As the Bell rang, I got back to the locker room. Changing my converse for sports shoes, I stepped out on the basketball court.

In our school, although the girls and the guys teams are different, we train together so that both teams are equally strong. Ethan and I being captains, we set the hurdles and other warm up stuff while the rest of the team took twenty five rounds of the court. After doing the hurdles, Ethan and I ran rounds while the team did hurdles.

"What's wrong?" Ethan asked.

"Nothing" I said.

"Come on Emily, either you tell me or I'll find out."

Okay, did I tell you all that Ethan has 'connections' due to which he knows everything that happens at school? I told him everything and he was fuming with anger.

"The guy is gonna have it!" Ethan said red in fury.

After Ethan and I finished the rounds, we did the skill practice like dribble, shooting, layups and stuff like that. Later, we were divided into four teams consisting of both girls and guys. Ethan, Lucas, Emma(a girl on the team) and I were the captains while Aaron was the ref, as coach has to fill some forms. First match, Lucas and Ethan.

Aaron tossed the ball in the air and both Lucas and Ethan lunged for it. Ethan, being taller, hit the ball towards his team mate and the game started. As Lucas was about to chase the guy with the ball, Ethan elbowed him in the gut.

"Foul!" Lucas yelled.

"No keep playing!" Aaron yelled back. Well sh*t.

I know what you all are thinking. Ethan and Aaron have planned this for Lucas. The game continued as Anne, a girl on Ethan's team, scored a three pointer basket. Lucas's team member Rahul took a side start and passed the ball to Lucas. Lucas dribbled up to to the center and passed it back to Rahul. Rahul was new on the team. He came from India. Rahul reached in the shooting zone, but got blocked, so he passed the ball to Lucas. Lucas was about to take a layup when my brother tripped him.

"Well this is a foul!" Lucas yelled angrily.

"No it isn't!" Aaron said.

"Enough is enough." With that Lucas punched my brother in the gut.

Wrong move! Later? Well, Lucas was beaten up real bad while my brother got out only with a few bruises. Oh, and then Aaron escorted Lucas to the nurse too. Not because he is nice, but only because he wanted to cover up for my brother.

My brother drove me home and I changed into comfortable clothes. He made me food because I was incapable of doing it myself. We both sat on the couch.

"You know you are fit right? I mean you aren't fat." He said.

"Yeah" I lied.

"So Frozen(movie)?" He asked. It was our favorite.

"Frozen" I said.

"Frozen." He finished.

"Maybe Frozen will be our always." I said and he chuckled at my childishness.

We sat together watching Frozen. Just like that, I knew everything would be fine. I didn't have to worry about Lucas, my weight, nor about my father.
